I mean, it's so dead simple the way they explained the silver & aversion to religious iconography after Judas betrayed Christ. Such a cool & underrated twist.
The only movie I ever walked out of was Halloween 2. And it wasn't just me, but a full row of my friends. The theater manager was so confused he ran out after us, and asked why? A friend of mine responded, "they killed off the best character." (But don't worry, two years later our friend would be a Starfighter.) As always thank you so very much for the videos.
I walked out of The Grudge. A friend let me in the side door. I was high and that room was empty, I had it all to myself. I thought it was going to be one of the best experiences ever. The opening with the guy jumping off the balcony had me psyched. But it never got good again, too slow. I walked out about 40 minutes in. I was so disappointed with the whole night. It was looking so good too........damnit

I also enjoyed Malignant. Those with keen ears in Malignant would have heard that techno "Where is my mind", and known there would have been a crazy twist.
I love Dracula 2000 😂! Great cast (with the glaring exception of a very Scottish Dracula), and just a boatload of fun. The ending was really just the cherry on top..
Honestly, we sat there kind of stupified after that moment. It makes the movie linger well beyond the majority of the rash of 80s teen sex comedies. Like if you ask me which of these movies I remember from that time immediately it'd be Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Porky's(because it was so filthy for the time), Better Off Dead(because it was so weird) and this, because of that ending.
I watched this on VHS with some friends back in the '80s. When the credits started to roll, we couldn't believe it. We started screaming & throwing things at the TV
why would you put reveals that are at the end of the movie??? No one is waiting + an hour to decide if the movie is a waste of their time. Although I heard some countries don’t have a law that requires companies to give an entertainment refund for no entertainment.
I don't understand the Halloween 4 entry for this reason. The reveal is literally the end of the movie. Who waits until the last 5 minutes to decide they're walking out?
I happen to love Dracula 2000, it was a great introduction to Gerard Butler (who was a really handsome Dracula BTW), and it had an amazing actor like Christopher Plummer who also starred in another of my favorite movies, the Sound of Music, which was based on an actual family named the Von Trapp family. Dracula 2000 had great special effects, an amazing plot, and overall a not soon to forget love story. It's too bad that they didn't create a sequel!
How did 2018's "Sorry to bother You" didn't make this list? The movie was just okay until the end and you were asking yourself "What did I just watch"? lol
Dracula being Judas…. For anyone who’s read it or seen a lot of region based horror films will know, Judas throws the coin back at the priests goes off and hangs himself. Weird that Drac 2000 ignored that when so many other preceding good and bad films have it mentioned
Well, as one of the millions of descendants of Vlad Draco Tepes III aka Count Dracula whom the infamous vampire based on born in 12th Century AD couldn't be Judas Iscariot anyway. Judas also has Roman birth records along with Jesus The Christ born April 17, 4BC according to the "census" mentioned in the same Bible text you mentioned. I happen to find Dracula 2000 a good movie, like all Dracula movies laugh my butt off. Grandpa was a saint compared to some of the other royalty of his time. He was betrayed and beheaded by one of his close friends like Jesus was maybe that was the real Judas story.😂😂😂😂❤
The film doesn't ignore Judas' canonical end, but the twist that it puts on it was what annoyed me. In Dracula 2000, the rope that he's hanging himself with breaks, and for whatever reason this makes him into a vampire. Essentially, he's being punished for FAILING to commit suicide, where the reason that he's condemned so harshly is that he killed himself in despair before Jesus could forgive him. It struck me as nonsensical when I watched it in the theatres.
Am I the only one who enjoyed Devil? I mean it was no cinematic masterpiece, but at least good enough for me to finish it. Alone in the Dark 2 however ... Oh boy, this movie took me a full two weeks or so to finish as I could never watch more than 5 minutes or so per day, but I was determined to finish it anyway.
I have a video-game example... though I'm not sure it fits since I was enjoying the game up until that point. But there is a reveal at the end of...I guess, the second act of "Unavowed" that changed it from a fun, well written point and click adventure into something I did not expect at all that is now always on my list to recommend to people.

I re-watched Last American Virgin recently and had forgotten the end. I will still mad when she went back to the douche and the guy who did everything for her drove off alone. Still mad
7:16 Tbh, I never knew about this and now I have to completely rewrite a story I did. Well, I was already rewriting it, but that part was something I wanted to keep. Now that I know that is in this film, I need a fresher take. Don't want to seem like I'm copying/stealing. I actually always thought it'd be neat if Judas was a vampire, but was completely unaware I'd been beaten to the punch. Lmao
These were actually all good and interesting reveals. And yeah, that Dracula is Judas thing deserved a better movie. However, paying for a movie keeps me from walking out. The closest I've ever come was Clash of the Titans 2010 because we loved the original so much and it was so disrespectful to it. I don't care how bad a movie is, I'm getting my $10 worth.
Depending on at what point you realize the movie (I believe usually less than halfway through the movie being standard) is terrible some theaters will give you a refund for your ticket and some will give you a rain check ticket to be used on a different movie. It highly depends on the theater though because I know some won't refund at all once the movie has started but its worth checking before committing to sitting through a terrible movie. That said I've only ever walked out of two movies, the first one being Elf, which I have seen since then and its not quite as bad as I remember but I'm still glad I didn't waste my time. The second was My Bloody Valentine but that was actually because it was the first 3D movie I had been to that was actively making me feel sick to my stomach by playing havoc on my eyes.
I dont see why the twists in any MNS movie aren't predictable to people. I saw Signs as a pre teen and called the water. I called the twish in The Village and Devil too. And turned The Happening into a drinking game it was such garbage. He is not a good film maker.
If all the clues are laid out so you can figure it out, it isn't a twist it is a reveal. Like a math problem 2+2+2=6 all the 2 are the details throughout the movie, but if you missed one you could get the wrong answer, so the 6 aka the answer is revealed later, a surprise if you missed a 2, but a satisfying "I was right", for those to caught the all the 2's. (An oversimplified explanation probably)
Seems like I've missed a lot of movies. Or more precisely, I have not seen a lot of movies. Not sure I've missed anything. Re: Judas=Dracula is a new one to me. I've heard the theory that Cain was the first vampire. Still wouldn't have kept me from walking out, though. Sorry not sorry? Not sorry.
The DEVIL reveal came pretty late in the movie, so anyone walking out would have done it. Dracula being Judas doesn't actually make historical/mythical sense
Devil is just one of a list of movies who've ripped off the premise of the Agatha Christie book "And Then There Were None" when the killer fakes being killed off themselves.
Hey, fk you, Dracula 2000 was a hilarious movie, and fun. I liked it. My favorite part was when the priest holds up a crucifix and the vampire says, "Sorry mate, I'm atheist." Priest: "God loves you anyway," as a knife pops out of the bottom of the cross. I think it was supposed to be campy, and I was into the music (at least the one NIN song I remember in it)
This video makes no sense with some entries, like H4 and LAV. Both reveals were at the very end of the movies, so why would you "walk out" at that point? I don't know if any other entries are like this as I stopped watching at Last American Virgin to make this post. Back to the video...
The reveal of the devil actually being one of the passengers really ruined the movie imo. The point was supposed to be that the devil is in all of us in the right situation.
How does a twist at the end of the movie keep me from leaving? If I've sat for 119 minutes of a 125 minute movie, why would I leave at that point. I only left Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon after what I remember being a 15 minute long flashback of some woman trying to get her comb back.
Why is this called "10 Movie Reveals That STOPPED You From Walking Out" when said reveals happen mostly at the end? If you haven't walked out by then the reveal isn't whats stopping you?
There's more to the con in "Derailed" that the video excludes. Another reason Clive Owen felt compelled to help Jennifer Aniston's character is that her boyfriend, played by Vincent Cassel, and his partner, played by Xzibit, break into the hotel room where Owen and Aniston are having their affair, and Cassel "rapes" Aniston in front of Owen. He feels so guilty and so bad for her that he doesn't think any of it could be a con and he does whatever it takes to help her and to avoid detection!
Get a down vote for devil only. That was a good movie. Also sone of these movies BIG REVEALS, are just the end. Why am i walking out then, work on you content man.
By what stretch of the imagination are the sex scenes in any 365 movies "awkward"? They are reminiscent of the softcore porn we watched on Skin-a-max as kids.
Okay, explain please since Cain is not Judas and the things like silver, and the cross having a strong effect on Dracula make perfect since with Judas as Drac, not so much with Cain.
Most people walk out of a movie WAY before the third act, so this video is kind of pointless. They wouldn't be around to witness the 'big reveal' because they would have already left. Regarding 'Malignant'-that had to be the most ridiculous, farfetched and STUPIDEST plot twist in a horror movie ever. It made NO sense whatsoever and i am ashamed i stuck out the movie in the hopes it would pay off, which it didn't. And 'Dracula 2000' is NOT trash. As for 'Derailed' and 'High Crimes', neither one took me by surprise-i saw those twists coming almost from the beginning. [Of course, i've seen way too many movies so i know all the plot tricks which makes me automatically suspicious of 'innocent' characters who are later the guilty ones, it's just instinct] As for 'The Last American Virgin', that ending was realistic and perfectly captured the crushing blow that young love brings, instead of the sappy unrealistic fairy tale ending where they get together. Love isn't like that in real life.

Who didn’t know the old lady was the Devil just by watching the previews and his previous films? Literally just picked the most random person upon seeing the first preview.
She did a slightly similar performance in Wishmaster a couple of years or so before that. She was the only actress I recognised so she became my first suspect.
