10 New Gods SMITE Needs To ADD! 

Fun fact: Odin has a third son known as Vidar, he's the god of vengeance and silence. In Ragnarök he kills Fenrir as revenge for Fenrir killing Odin.

I would love to see Demeter and Sekhmet in game! Hopefully eventually they come as they are pretty popular. I would also like to see Hestia of Greek mythology, Freyr and Idunn from Norse, and Shezmu and Nephthys from Egyptian added.

I would love to see more Yoruba deities (Orishas) like: Shango- male Orisha of thunder/justice/fire/dance/virility/lightning (Warrior) Èsù/Eshu- male Orisha of chance/accident/unpredictability (Assassin) Òsóòsì/Oshosi- male Orisha of adventure/hunting/the forest (Hunter) Oshun- female Orisha of water/purity/fertility/love/sensuality (Mage) Oya- female Orisha of storms/change/lightining/transformation/rain/destruction (Warrior) Ayao- female Orisha of air/whirlwinds (Hunter) Babalú-Aye- male Orisha of infectious diseases and healing (Support) I have similar ideas for the other pantheons but I didn’t want to make the comment too long.

It'd be cool to see them add all the Titans from Greek mythos like Gaia, Tartarus, Chaos, etc. so far we only have Atlas. Same concept could go for Norse mythos too by adding all the Giants since we already have Jorm, Surtur, and Ymir More specifically, i wanna see more mainline gods like: - Freyr, brother of Freya, he could also be a magical melee god - Mimir, before he was decapitated or imprisoned, he can be a support type god that expose enemy's weakness and buff allies - Vali, god of revenge, he avenges Baldur and survives ragnarok, similar concept to Nemesis but instead he passively gains stacks of power whenever a teammate dies - Baal, Egyptian/Mesopotamian god of weather and fertility, often mentioned in the bible and egypt as a supreme and corrupted deity. Could be mage - Vishnu, supreme Hindu deity next to Shiva, best known for his avatars/reincarnations like Rama or Vamana or Buddha. Could also be a support-warrior hybrid

I’ve always wanted Hathor in the game. She’s the Egyptian cow goddess of love, beauty, and the arts (specifically dance and music). She was transformed by Ra into Sekhmet, the lioness goddess of war and destruction, as punishment to humans for conspiring against him. She nearly destroyed humanity before she was pacified and transformed back into Hathor. I’ve always imagined her as a stance switcher with focuses on AoE buffing in Hathor stance (focusing on dance and music) and damage in Sekhmet stance. The only problem with this is that it might end up feeling too similar to Hel, but Smite 2 opens up some possibilities with allowing her to be an Int-based more supportive character with a transformative ultimate (like Vamana’s) that might convert her int into strength and give her a far more aggressive, strength-based playstyle for ~10 seconds like a more mystical version of Cu Chulainn.

Oml hypnos would be nuts long cooldown based on ability silenced

Everyone thinks of the Lady of Lake, but Queen Guinevere gets overlooked. She was the wife of Arthur but also also so beautiful that Lancelot betrayed Arthur. This gives both Aphrodite and Discordia vibes. But she was also depicted as a brilliant strategist and was instrumental in rallying the troops at the Battle of Mount Badon. I could see her as a guardian support with good CC to turn enemies against each other and provide protections to her team. We has so few goddess guardians and the ones we do "look" like guardians so it would be nice to see one that visibly looks petite and lithe.

For Sekhmet you can add a life drain ability to her kit, as she was kind of like a vampire in her lore

We need Sleipnir since he has already been teased with the Loki x horse event thing and an 8 legged horse sounds sick AF. We also need more creatures plus we already have 2 Loki kids in the game might as well add another.

I still want Valravn (The god of illusions) ever since I played Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice back in 2017. I absolutely adore his boss fight and attacks. I think smite could do some really cool things with him

Prometheus could be a very cool addition. He's a Titan who fought not on the side of his fellow Titans but on the side of the gods (fun voice line possibilities with Atlas and Chronos calling him a traitor), until he gave humanity the gift of fire and was punished by Zeus (who didn't want them to have that power) by chaining Prometheus to a rock and having an eagle eat his liver every day, while it grew back at night, until Herakles/Hercules freed him. The liver thing could be his passive, maybe he gets temporary HP5 and Intelligence from being damaged? Also, since the lane minions in Smite are the humans, he also should have abilities that buff the minion waves, maybe even turn them into fire waves (temporarily, would probably be too OP if permanent). He could be a really interesting solo laner, whose laning phase is more centered around minions than around brawling, and who late game actually wants to take poke damage.

Love all of these. Id personally be super pumped for any addition from lovecraft or Hypnos :)

I remember them doing Sekhmet for the god design panel one year at the expo. Distinctivfly recall them saying the chose gods for the example that they have no intention of adding to the game but there could be hope for Smite 2

There is another supreme god of the Geto-Dacians in close connection with the Roman gods. That Great God Zamolxis, god of the underworld, of the dead and the living, representing the underworld and the afterlife. A character, chthonic (subterranean) or Uranian (celestial) of the deity. The god Zamolxis is even mentioned by Herodotus (scribe) in his historical works. Verry popular God what could be introduced in Smite game.

An issue with yog-sothoth being in the sky influencing the game from above is that there isnt really a way to kill him. So what if along with being in the sky, he has minions that spawn directly below where he is floating above, they like shoot down onto the battleground in a lightning bolt. And if enough of them are killed he goes into a slumbering state similar to any other god dying.

Hackleburn, the Leader of The Wild Hunt from Germanic Folklore would be a cool assassin IMHO.

I would love to see Fujin for sure, bring Raijin's brother into the game!

I would love to see the Managarm : Skoll and Hati, the two wolves sons of fenrir, as a single deity in smite 2, making them stance switchers or just alternate between the two in between or during abilities.

Mordred is typically heavily armored so Mordred should either be an assassin that works like a reverse Tiamat (armored stance->Betrayal stance). Or be a a heavily armored warrior with a skillset based on Counterblows (think a Fire Emblem character Counter attack from Smash bros). Using a short range silence or something that can be charged up taking/dealing damage.

i would like King in yellow with tentacle attacks, Odysseus as hunter, Typhon as Guardian, Perseus as warrior, Enkidu with Minotaur like gameplay, Izanagi , Mordred, Fujin , 4 horsemen of apocalypse with original ideas like scylla, Lord Vishnu with access to all playstyles with stance switching playstyle like physical, range & mage. The game requires more god monsters than humanoid characters. maybe they should also add titans like Kronos. Polyphemus ,Tartarus ,Echidna, Arion, Baphomet, Nidhogg, Leviathan, Ahriman, Kala or Kaal, Nergal, Owuo, Akan god of Death etc.

I made quite a few god concepts and posted it on the Discord before they took it down. I made kits for most of the ones here. I personally would like Slepnir and Balabog.

I really really liked your idea a while ago about the 4 horsemen of the apocalypse assassin. I really hope a character like that comes through

Yog-sothoth, abilities should focus around Wards. Give him a passive, that give him 3 Huds, which give him direct sight through his chosen wards. Allow him to attack through warss as well. Having the All knowing outer god be mostly an indirect, scouting/information God would be interesting. Give him an Ukt based around a Team Teleport to a ward. Like Horus.

Along the lines of completing pantheons, Belebog and Fūjin would be good additions to get the other half of Chernobog and Raijin

i would love to see more dyansty warriors alongside guan yu.. LuBu would be amazing also would think you could make good assasin out of Lu xun, or maybe a mage from zhuge liang.

I think Sir Tristain would be a really cool arthurian to add. Make him an auto attack combo hunter. All of his abilities could be auto attacks

While there are a few examples of this in smite 1, I think it would be cool if they went all in on roman/greek counterparts with a whole new skin (not just a slight recolor), alternate spell effects, and even the name change.

Honestly, with the addition of hecate, they open the door to more vague gods; let us have some more greek titans!!! Or a giant!!! Like any of the titans of cardinal directions or maybe even reaching out to slavic to expand and get chernobog's counterpart~ another one im heavily interested in is Mannanan Mac Lir or Dagda or any major celtic gods, seeing as artio and cernunnos arent even major irish celtic gods (and cernunnos may not even be one solid deity but thats a whole other conversation) id like so see some more unique characters. Other examples would be Brigid (goddess of crafts and weaving) or even Cu Chullain's own father (depending on version) Lu Lamfada (dont know how to spell it sorry, but it just means Lu Of The Long Arm) who is the god of nobility, warriors, crafts, and a little bit about honor and related subjects.

I really want to see the following gods - Demeter (who could have a long interaction with Hades and Persephone and minor interaction with Hekate) - Mani (making him a more supportive God, giving him abilities surrounding healing, waves, tides etc. Give him interactions with Sol and Fenrir) - Circe (give her magical abilities surrounding transfiguration, turning male gods into wild boars while deifying females/ protective Nature towards female team mates)

I doubt pantheons will still be a thing in SMITE 2, since we likely to get Aladdin at some point. They might already considered pantheon system is just a limitation and I understand them, there's still a lot of minor mythologies that has only one or two notable figures like Anansi or Sedna, characters in folk tales that can't fit the pantheon system like Aladdin or Krampus, not to mention some figures existed in the blurred line between multiple cultures, if they keep the Pantheon system they would get the sense of "we have to complete this pantheon at some point" and needs to bring characters that isn't really well-known just to "complete" it. If pantheon system were gone we might actually get the crazier characters in the game. This could be a good video topic, which character do you want to see if SMITE 2 is not bound by Pantheon system anymore? Mine would be some creations from Abrahamic religions.

Those who played The Shadow of the Tomb raider know that there is a mayan godess called Chak Chel. I don'k know exactly which is right, but in TR ix chel is the godess of full moon, and chak chel is the godess of new moon. Chak chel related to creation, destruction, childbirth, healing. Ix chel is related to love, pregnancy and arts, so chak chel is way more powerful than ix chel

I am currently actually really into making Smite kits myself and one of the 'bigger' undertakings I've taken is to make a 'full team' for the Great Old Ones. With Yig, The Father of Serpents, in the jungle. Hastur, The King In Yellow, in the duo lane with Cthulhu. Azathoth, The Blind Idiot God, in the middle lane and... someone as the Solo-laner. Haven't quite decided. Each of their ultimates would be a 'giant form' somewhat similar to Cthulhu himself but slightly smaller to keep Cthulhu as 'the biggest', each of their giant forms providing different mechanics to them than just growing large. But I definitely want to take a crack at Izanagi and maybe instead of Mani do Skoll & Hati as the first 'two gods in one kit' character in Smite. That sounds cool to me! Great video as always!
