Classic is my style period!!! Delighted the classic loafer is back. I have many colors! Love kitten heels as well. I am boring when it comes to sneakers....I enjoy white the most.
Love the loafers, Mary Janes, sneakers, platforms, boots! Never have liked kitten heels. And hold the sparkles and the metallics, except on my sandals. What a wonderful review. Thank you so much. Can't wait to pull out my loafers! And socks with loafers too... my fav!!
I loved the doc Martin show with the bow embellishment. And Western style is always a favorite of mine. Loved those knee high boots. I will however purchase a ankle western style boot in a light color.
I love platform anything and chunky loafers. I am glad they are not going anywhere. I like sneakers and have owned sambas in the past. I also like a cute mary jane, probably ones with a little bit of edge. I am not as big a fan of regular loafers, kitten heels, cowboy boots, metallic or embellishments.
I dislike ALL these shoe trends. I disliked Mary Janes as a child.😊 Your video was very good. You always do a GREAT "down to earth" video. Thank you ‼️
Lots to love here except, no visible socks with loafers, ballet flats (no arch support) or platforms for me; love the metallics, western boots I have worn for decades, just not with dresses. Thank you for the video.
I love to watch what the street fashion in the large cities looks like......I especially love Italian cities.......I noticed a lot of metallic gold and silver......which look great and go with every colour...... I shall be taking some shoes from the back of the wardrobe.for this season.......thank you and God Bless
i saved up and bought those same Carel shoes with just a little bit more of a heel and i have no regrets! Also i've wanted them for the longest time, ever since i saw Alexa Chung sporting them.
Yearly changing fashion trends are why there are so many clothes and shoes that get trashed. Such a waste. Donate what you can and wear what you buy out. Get your money’s worth and save the ground and air when they burn them in other countries we send our old clothes too! Everything comes back in style too,so keep what you like.
I live in TX. Cowboy boots never go out of style here. I own many. I love metallics, especially silver! For me, no to ballet flats and most loafers as these styles are uncomfortable for me. I love the retro sneakers.
I live in Alberta, CA (ie: Little Texas) and I am just the opposite with the Cowboy Boot. I just can't bring myself to be part of that subculture - and you have the boots it's assumed you are. I feel that if you don't have cows, horses, other livestock, you shouldn't wear cowboy boots. ... but, each to their own, of course.
Texan abroad waaayyy south of the border in Guatemala in retirement several.pr.of cowboy boots bought here. There is a small town here that specializes in handmade cowboy boots.
Hooray for kitten heels again! As a woman of a certain age that can no longer wear high heels, this makes me very happy. Easier to walk in, plus they look super cute!
Boots! Boots of any kind--Motorcycle boots, Combat boots, Ankle boots, Fashion boots, Over the Knee boots, Riding boots, Western boots, Hiking boots, Punk boots, Gothic Steampunk boots--I own them all and ‘love them to pieces’! Next would be running shoes- Nike, ASICS, Columbia for the daily walking or running, hiking trails and paths or just a comfy shoe for shopping.. Next would be cute or sophisticated heels in a comfortable height for a formal date or church. ( sorry ladies, but I think 4 to 6 inch heels are totally ridiculous and the ruin of many a poor woman’s feet)! Also , I love beautiful sandals and one of my comfy ‘go-to’ are my Bobs canvas shoes! I live in the fastest growing town in Canada and I have to say, besides ‘business shoes’ , the shoe I mostly see around here (even on the millionaires) are Tennis and Running shoes! As far as fashion goes-- I have yet to see anyone in ‘ripped jeans’ that looks any better than tacky. The beautifully coordinated dressed, casual or otherwise, always win ‘hands down’!!
Great video for a confessed “shoe junkie”! Love the Mary Jane look too, just splurged on a patent leather pair with a bit of a platform and block heel. They’re super comfortable and dressing them up or down will be easy. I have owned a pair of leather western boots for more years than I care to mention. If you ask me they’re classics and I love wearing them. I recently purchased a trendier short shaft style and have a pair of western mules too. Would appreciate seeing some styling options for these as we transition to warmer weather. Love ALL the styles you shared here Jamie, thank you for the great content!
As long there is no tennis shoes, I hate hate hate the they look sloppy and feel sloppy. No class. In Paris they think American women are sloppy cuz of tennis shoes keep those for the gym.
Hi Jamie, this was a very fun video, thanks. Can you tell me how to wear socks with loafers and Mary Janes, are the socks suppose to match the shoe or the outfit and not match the shoe at all? And how high should the sock be? Even with runners, do the socks have to be no show or can they be a little higher? Thanks again!
Most women’s shoes are really bad for the feet. I have designs I’d love to produce, finally solve the dilemma of combining, health, comfort, versatility, and beauty. Women deserve the best, but we rarely get it, even at exorbitant prices.
Love those 80's chunky loafers! Socks with loafers, No!!! Too Catholic school for me! (12 years was enough for me) Mary Janes, too little girl for me! Ballet flats are terrible for your feet! I cannot wear due to flat feet. No support! Kitten heels, finally! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
I wear short boots in 3 colors. look like a short heal cowboy but really can wear with long pant, crop and skirt. on a low buy and in my 60s love it with jogger too. Still have my lol FLAT COACH loafer..
Ugly, ugly, and not practical. They look cheap. Been wearing kitten heels for years. Bottom line wear what you like and what looks good on you. Just don't wear the masculine shoes. Trends are just that, stick with stylish shoes that transcends " trends,,".
I have never given up my Penny loafers. They are timeless and always comfortable. I also am a big fan of cowboy boots. I have worn them for years and have many pairs. Good to know I'm in again!
You're right, the only ones I like here are the ballet flats LOL. I'm really looking forward to spring so I can wear mine and I'm always on the hunt for my next pair
I think I must not be trendy. I was hoping to see flat sandals for spring and summer. I am an above the knee amputee so don't wear heels at all. But there are many of us still looking to be stylish and I'm sure others who cannot wear any heel. A video for people who must wear flats would be great. Btw - the sick thing is a no go.
I like the shoe trend’s with the bows and the accessories on them feathers. I’ve always liked that. I always keep cowboy boots I have three pair, tall, short and real short.
I love love love Mary Janes and like the look of them with socks! Also, can you do a video on styling shoe options with baggy and wide leg pants? I love puddle pants and flare legs, although I realize I’m probably in the minority. I’m having fun figuring out my shoe options. A video from you would be helpful.
Oh you are not alone!! I LOVE baggy, wide leg, puddle pants, flares! Beside a western boot and sneakers, I don't know what else to wear with them. Would also love to see your suggested video.
I’m not a fan of the square toe. Metallic and embellished ballet flats look and feel good. I love loafers and never stopped wearing them. Woven shoes are so comfortable.
Great, so we can wear nearly all typs of shoes but I think high heels will never get out of style for special events ... thank you so much for the nice video
My favorite shoe trends are Western and Cut-Outs. I'm an Edgy Classic with a little Boho girl when it comes to my style so I'm lovin it. Also, I do like a chunky loafer too :)
I love loafers! I never could get on board with the chunky, clunky sole on anything. I was glad to see kitten heels go so won’t be adding those back. Thanks for sharing Jamie!
Jamie, I love your hair like this and the clip too. So pretty. I bought a pair of short ivory cowboy/80s slouch hybrid that I’m excited to try with dresses for spring and summer.
Great video Jamie, my favs are kitten heels, metalics and tennis shoes. Could you do a video on what style of tennis shoes to wear with midi and maxi dresses and skirts? Thank you
Hi Jamie! I love Mary Jane Style. I buyed one pair of black and one Brown chocolaté in Suède. I buyed them to Naturalizer. I'm waiting to get new sandals for late spring. Thank you for your vidéo !
Most people I know do not like cut out in shoes or especially in boots. And why? Because you get to air out your sweaty foot, yes, but other people can smell it. Embellishments on shoes are awful. What happens when you start to lose the rinestones and pearls? And you will because shoes get wear. They will look worn and ratty when the rest of the shoe is still perfectly fine to wear. If you're not going to be handy with a glue gun to glue embellishments back on when they fall off, pass on these.
