I don't think the Criminal lyric should be on this list. In Criminal, he says multiple times that he doesn't actually mean what he says. That was the entire point of the song. Criminal was meant to parody how everyone takes his lyrics so seriously.

People need to realise Em is a product of his times, and has been making music for decades, whereas activism for gay rights has only really taken off in the last 8-10 years, hell, I'm only 18 and I remember "gay" just being another insult, doesn't mean everyone who said it back then is homophobic.
