The Mark Henry one is actually pretty impressive. He was meant to break the chain and come into the ring, but unfortunately the prop guys screwed up and put a real chain on instead of a breakaway one.So Mark Henry had to ACTUALLY break the chain.Pretty incredible show of strength, if you ask me.
Referees were pouring bottles of water onto him while he was in the chamber to keep his skin from blistering. And let's not forget Undertaker wrestling with a broken orbital bone.
+Paddy Mc Agreed. Full-on respect to Mr. Calloway there. He truly is a living legend for a lot of reasons, though I am happy that he is breaking kayfabe a lot of these last two or so years to enjoy his success with such a seminal character a lot, though. He certainly deserves it.
+Paddy Mc Its those old, Attitude Era guys bro. They are beasts! Like HHH tearing his quad and continuing, or Austin being dropped on his neck and continuing, or the best....Mankind being tossed off the Cell, knocked unconscious, but still continuing. Legends.
Agreed. _SO_ glad to see the fan love & respect her for these kats. Some guys, such as Mark (Undertaker) put their bodies on the line and are such dedicated to their bodies & character(s) that it is such an amazing thing to behold. Mad respect to all of 'em from the '80s, '90s and even today. Much respect.
yeah maybe If he had a way cooler gimmick like Mankind or Vader!! other then tha Kevin Owens is so lame!! fight owens fight this so fucking pathetic!!!..😕
Man, Taker is a badass. Pyro-fireball to the face? 'Tis but a scratch. Same thing goes for Sabu when he sliced his bicep open on that barbed wire in the match with Terry Funk. Gimme that duct tape and I'll see if I can find a fuck to give.
***** Ehh, he ended up having a staph infection though, that can kill you if you don't get it taken care of. It was kind of a puss move to accuse Ryback of nearly killing him, bit of an exaggeration there.
***** He for sure bitched a lot. I dunno, I cut Punk a lot of leeway b/c he'll freely admit he's an asshole rather than stab people in the back, like an HBK type for example. Plus he was just such a good promo that it's hard for me to hate him.
I actually learned a lot about that Elimination Chamber accident in Chris Jericho's third book. If you ever wondered how we didn't have another Over the Edge on our hand, a combination of factors saved Taker from being a literal dead man - his wide-brimmed hat, the fact that he wets his hair with water and his heavy trenchcoat saved his skin that night.
+caoimhin hamilton To be fair, Sin Cara probably was just way too aware that holding the status as the Botch Master means he would get his whole hand amputated at the end of the match.
+caoimhin hamilton yup, Triple H tears a quad: continues match (even telling Jericho to be put into the Walls). Sin Cara: breaks a finger, wants to quit.
Once again, loads of respect to Taker. Whether early on in a match he ends up suffering from a concussion or getting badly burned, he keeps up the show.
Damn, anyone that can take a fireball to the face and then go through an elimination chamber match like that is hardcore as hell. I loved the Deadman already but just hearing that puts the icing on the cake.
+Terra Gamer Mark callaway aka the undertaker said he walked backstage and told vince "I want him fired because if I see him im going to kill him" And vince said Ok hahaha. He got what he deserved
Holy shit I just saw the Elimination Chamber one, I remember that I think it was Michael Cole that said, *The Dead storming to the ring, ready to defend his title". I think Jim said, "I never seen the Phenom Like this, very strange"
I was at Wrestlemania 24 that #10 refers to. I remember watching the firework shoot into the crowd from the other side of the arena. I pointed it out to my buddy as it flew across the sky.
Brock Lesnar didnt hit anyone with a CAR DOOR, as suggested. The liner broke off, which didnt hurt the dude at all and he got free mania tickets out of it. here is confirmation: chicagoist.com/2015/07/09/brock_lesnar_hit_somebody_with_a_ca.php
I was at the 2010 EC event. And seeing Taker get roasted was...well...terrifying. But not NEARLY as terrifying as watching a seriously pissed off Deadman dousing himself with water bottles, and simply waiting for the moment when his pod would open, letting him practically murder everyone else in the match, just to blow off steam...
I remember that EC entrance. If his character, WM streak, backstage powers and legacy weren't badass enough, dude takes a fireball to the face and still wrestles his ass off as if nothing happened.
After the incident at number #1, Undertaker apparently went to the back after his match and told Vince that if he ever saw the pyro guy again, he was going to kill him. As goes without saying, the pyro guy was fired that night.
The thing I remember most about number one was Undertaker later coming out with burn ointment all over his face, resulting in him looking like he'd had a hotdog backstage or something
Sin Cara breaks thumb in match with Del Rio...calls it off... Undertaker get's fireball to the face and gets 1st and 2nd degree burns, pours water on it, finishes and wins the match! wow! Phenom!
Gotta admire Undertaker. He basically said "Hahah, look at that, Im on fire. Oops," and carried on like he didnt have a care in the world about the fact that he had 1st and 2nd degree burns. Thats what I call "Employee of the Decade" material.
For some non-WWE flavor, that one time in ECW when the feed cut to the production room and Heyman flips out and tosses his notebook at the head of the guy in front of him.
PLEASE PLEASE do a video about wwe super stars who have been on ring of honor . There is a lot and some may surprise the viewers ... I love your channel
so wait. the fireworks that injured 45 people and sent a fiery hot cable of death down to the audience are the same fireworks that blast in the beginning of every Raw before the beginning reel. Now THAT's a WTF moment
