Whoa! The sheer number of comments and messages that poured in after I posted by last video was incredible!! The stories you shared were not only interesting but totally relatable, so I thought I would put together this Top 10 list of OTHER things that happen when you stop being a Club Med G.O... submitted by you this time. Thanks so much for sharing with me and the community!

I was a GM for many many years from.Cancun to Moreea to Bora Bora to Itaparica and others .. and even not being GO I can relate to many of your experiences... I can't forget any of the crazy signs songs, any dress codes which I always followed and worst of all whenever I am staying in other resorts I not only compare them to Med but I keep telling guests Club Med is better......

What has been happening to me is people around me (who knew about my GO experience) asking me to lead some line dances during family or special events and to put on stage some numbers for kids talent show and school assemblies. I left Club Med but Club Med did not leave me. For info I worked for Club Med from Summer 1979 to summer 1988.

Sorry guys, the chat window disappeared so fast after the Premiere, and I barely caught those last messages... Thanks for tuning in and watching with me! I did read someone asking me to make videos about Crazy Signs, and to answer that, I really want to! But the problem is working with copyrighted music... I'm still trying to figure that one out. ;)

Hi I was a GO for Club Med Bali, because I worked there so I now I can speak English, little Japanese, little French, I do have self confidence, that I hadn't before

Never been a GO, but been going to Club Meds since 1976. It is very difficult to explain the experiences there to people that have never been. My kids grew up there. Going back to Club Med this year, first time by myself since my kids are grown. Miss you on the videos, you are the best.

Thank you! And yes, I agree... It's hard to explain the Club med experience to someone who's never been. I was a G.M before I was a G.O and I'd have such a great time... Club Med memories are one of a kind, and maybe the fact that they're so hard to describe is what makes them so special in the first place. :)

Jessica Laventure don’t forget also after club med we tend to be able to start a conversation and never stop to any body that we talk to or meet a stranger..2006 till 2017 in Club Med and it is still in me..hahaha non stop talking..😁😁

L’aspect le plus frustrant et décevant est l’absence de suivi et/ou de réponse de son affectatrice. Tu n’es pas rappelé et tu ignores la raison et tu es incapable d’obtenir une réponse à tes courriels.

Je me retrouve tellement dans tes vidéos. Je n'ai jamais été GO mais j'y suis allé 17 fois. Je connais presque tous les crazysign. Je fini sur le stage ou même dans le spectacle a chaque semaine (presque chaque jour). Je suis encore ami avec plein d'ex GO. Les ex GO m’invite dans les partys d’ex GO J’ai même déjà fait l’animation des Crazysign dans un party d’ex GO Des anecdotes j'en ai trop pour tout écrire ça ici J’ai sorti le chef du village du stage a mon premier jour de vacance. Il m’a remis sa batch et le micro sur le stage en disant qu’il y avait un nouveau chef de village pour la semaine. J’ai tout fait les GM Show + show 2 shows de trapèze. Je fais ma valise avec les dress code + 2-3 costumes (sinon ma meilleure amie c'est la costumière) Et ++++ Tout ça pour dire que je vie ma vie en a 100%. Mon seul regret c’est de ne pas avoir été GO plus jeune. (il ne faut jamais dire jamais)

Devenir G.O ça fait parti de mes rêves d'enfance, je suis entrain de passer mon Bafa pour pourvoir y aller mais j'ai tellement de galère avec le Bafa que ça décourage un peu. Je m'accroche and I hope one day I will be able to share my experience like this !

Le plus dur est de se ré-adapter à la vie "normale" ensuite - (perso 1er job dans mes jeunes années y'a ... 40 ans !! - plusieurs pays - Turquie, Italie, France, yougoslavie etc... dur de s'adapter à la "vraie vie" ensuite ... la chanson c'était "pousse ta nana et moue le café" : ça date !!!!!- des souvenirs pour la vie !

, number 8 is so true! I work in an island for another hotel company, but last week I went to the mainland, I grabbed a sandwich at the supermarket and almost left without paying, they stopped me at the door haha so embarrassing! BY THE WAY, I'm joining club med next month in Asia!!!

Where are you working now? I'm a frequent GM and have met a lot of GO's. I remember quite a few of them would get great job offers outside of club med from occasional GM's who owned company or were managers. Did you get any good job leads from us Gentile Memberes?

Haha, it's true, some GM's become great ressources and even some of them are friends for life! I'm actually self-employed now and I freelance as a videographer, host, narrator, content creator, social media manager, etc... A little bit of everything! :)

Nothing fancy... Right now, I just have a small lavalier mic for iPhone. It's not great, because I can't monitor the gain, but it's better than just using the built-in mic. :)

why are they called "crazy signs"?

Way back when, in Club Med's first years, I heard that they used to be called "les signes démoniaques" in French. They eventually translated to Crazy Signs and the name stuck. They were (and still are) choreographies that people dance to 3 times day: at noon, before the shows in the evening, and after the show at the start of the nightly parties. There are hundreds of Crazy Sign choreographies now, but they're easy to learn, and each one is very similar from one resort to another, so you can dance a crazy sign that you learned during a previous vacation. :)
