Hypnose is so nice. Never understood why it wasn't a hit. I had it when it first came out and hubby got me a bottle a few years ago. I will wear it today in your honor.
Yes! To fragrances that project! I’ve not smelled YSL Supreme Bouquet, but have a dupe by be layered called dolled up. It is a tuberose bomb, and it is one of the best for longevity and projection. I also enjoy Ralph Lauren Woman, great projection! Black Opium is one of my bedtime scents, and the Le Parfum flanker is also amazing!! 💙💙💙💙💙

I hope you can find a vintage bottle of Samsara! I've found that the vintage has more than decent longevity as well as the projection. And oh, Fracas! Such a fantastic tuberose. (One day, I hope to find a vintage bottle. I save my vintage decant of it for special occasions and when I want tuberose on less special ones, I spray a bit of Carnal Flower.)
@@thefragranticianaren't they amazing? the only ones I like more are the Aftelier ones (which I don't know if you can get outside the US). Velvet Tuberose is sublime, though only available in solid format (why is why I haven't purchased more than a sample of it), and Cepes and Tuberose will probably be my next full-sized Aftelier purchase after I save up for it.

I’m in my late 50’s. Some of my favorite scents are no longer as appealing so I’m not reaching for them as much and they just sit on my tray. However, if there is a way to give my oldies a boost, I would be able to enjoy the best of both worlds. For example, three of my favorite scents are Paris by YSL, Paloma Picasso and Clinique Aromatics. Are there any newer fragrances they can be mixed with, confidently, that would bring them up to date?
I think you can layer with sweeter body sprays from Bath and bodyworks. Any that contain fruity notes or,some vanillin notes. There's many to search for. I love Paris YSL it's,still a beauty 😍 💕

Just purchased the ISO E Super on Amazon, thanks for the tip! I have a spade bottle of Samsara coming within the next few weeks, but I don’t recall what it smelled like in the 80s, so I couldn’t compare for you.
Good timing! I was just learning about sillage vs projection. Ambroxin might solve my weak projecting scents. AND perhaps keep me from using the entire bottle at once? I’m poor and generally stick to samples so I can have verity.
Another fantastic video, Gabi! I am a big fan of Perfume Parlour's perfumes and I know Annular very well, but personally I'd rather a dupe of Athalia by PDM which is called Exalted (1740) I own an extrait lil bottle and would recommend it to anyone who loves lipsticky notes, gorgeous scent! Also, I absolutely need to put my hands on Supreme Corsage, it seems to be something really beautiful, and I love white flowers in perfumes so I will definitely try this one out❤️

It is a lil basic aswell but hey xD It is suuuch a nice praline rasberry patchouli scent ❤. It reminds me a tad of the OG angel in the opening. Just for a minute though it settles into a sirupy vanilic rasberry on my skin. Anyway I'm rambling but if you ever come across it in store do try it. :) X
Okay you’ve convinced me, I need to get hypnose. I love a good vanilla scent! Also how many sprays of scent molecule 01 do u do & should I apply it before or after I’ve sprayed my perfume? Side note: I found your channel recently & I really enjoy watching your videos.. you’ve got such personality!
So wish I could sniff Hypnose, it’s not available to sample at the Lancôme counters anymore here. The bottle is so cool! Does it smell lipsticky at all, Gabi?
@@thefragrantician thank you for clarifying. A woman in a frag group insisted that it smells like lipstick and I just didn’t believe it based on the notes and others reviews. I’m always on the lookout for lipsticky scents
Hellooooo!!! 😁😁 11:55 yes! 15:48 I used to own Hypnôse but sold it as I grew bored of it after a while. Sometimes you need to let go of those scents… rather than being wasteful. But it is lovely ❤
I tried Angel Elixir . It does kinda resemble Black Opium ,love them both tho. My sister said I smell like a prostitute I guess I'll order a bigger size ! Hypnose is very beautiful tho .
