Thanks so much for watching! 😊 With this video, we want to inform you about what's normal and what is not normal when it comes to physical problems that you experience after delivery. As always, please keep in mind that every woman is different and may thus experience these problems in a slightly different way! If you are not sure whether something is "normal" or not, please call your doctor, particularly, if something seems strange during the FIRST FEW DAYS after delivery! Your well-being should be top-priority!!

@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Thanks SO MUCH for your feedback Crystal!! ❤️ It's really good to know that people find our videos helpful!! ❤️😊 Midwives brew is a really interesting topic, thanks a lot for suggesting it Crystal! From our experience, we can tell you that we know SOME women who have tried it. And it DID work for some of them, but not for others. Ingredients and safety: Ingredient-wise, a pregnant woman can probably have apricot juice and almond butter without experiencing any. We have also seen in clinical studies that castor oil does not seem to have any adverse effects, neither on the baby nor the mother. When it comes to verbena, we know that several doctors recommend it to induce labor. (We just don't know the exact dosage) So IN THEORY it SHOULD not be a problem for a pregnant woman to drink the midwives brew. However, unfortunately, there are ZERO scientific studies about the midwives brew. Therefore, we cannot really say how safe it really is for a pregnant woman or her baby... 🙈 We hope that this was at least A BIT helpful... All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there! 😊 Thanks SO MUCH for your lovely comment and feedback!! 😊😘 We can absolutely understand that things can quickly get overwhelming! Also, because there are so many new impressions and things your mind has to process. But we always tell women not to worry TOO much about what comes after birth. Of course, there are a few ground rules, like keeping an eye on the bleeding and your physical and mental well-being. However, the most important thing is to rest and to get to know your little one. Also, your baby will be a great distraction (although it also means that you will most likely not sleep much 😊). But this is when your partner can be a great support! 😊 We wish you all the best for the upcoming birth, for you and for your baby!! ❤️

I gave birth to a 37 week old baby on the 15th of May 2021, I am struggling to breastfeed her and want to pump exclusively. Do you maybe have any tips on increasing milk supply to be able to pump exclusively and bottle feed my baby? She latches on to my breast but she's lazy to keep suckling and that's why I want to pump exclusively.
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there Charné 😊, thanks a lot for sharing your story here! ❤️ We are currently preparing a series of videos which are related to newborns and how to care for them. How to increase the milk supply will most probably be one topic that we are going to address. However, we are not sure yet when we can publish them (as there is so much to do 🙀)... The advice that we have until then is the following: One thing you have to know about your body is that it adjusts your milk supply based on the demand. So if your baby does not drink a lot, then your milk supply will be adjusted and you will produce less milk. Therefore, pumping milk is exactly what you wanna do to increase your supply. It helps "convince" the body to produce more milk. However, please note that the "suction power" of your baby is much better than the suction of any breast pump. 😊 Therefore, it could also help if you first let your baby suckle for a while (whenever your baby is hungry) until your baby becomes too tired. Then continue with the bottle. After the feeding, use a breast pump on the same breast, because oftentimes, it will make the pumping much easier! The other thing that you can try (in addition) is drinking beetroot juice. It's a "trick" from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). During a delivery, a woman loses lots of blood. Because of that, they become "blood deficient" according to TCM. As a result, they produce less milk (because blood deficiency affects the whole fluid balance in the body). One way to deal with blood deficiency is drinking beetroot juice. Try it! It has helped many women at our clinic!! We really hope this helps you!! We wish you all the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

How to support stomach post pregnancy? Which supporting belts are good and how to use them
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there 😊, please note that in general, we do not recommend belts to support the stomach post pregnancy because they don't "solve" the problem. Instead, we recommend postpartum exercises which specifically address the problem of diastasis recti. Unfortunately, we have not yet had the time to record a video on such exercises. However, if you google a bit, you can find lots of good sites who show you which exercises can help here! In the meantime, we do our best to publish a video as soon as possible... 😊 All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

Retterspitz needs to be diluted? I'm in 38 weeks! Can't wait to meet my baby! What do you think about the increased pulse during pregnancy? Thank You so much for all your Videos! Very helpful!
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there Ana ❤️, you are MOST WELCOME!! We are very happy if you find our videos helpful!! 😊 Retterspitz does not to be dilated, no! Just pour 1-2 tablespoons of it over a sanitary towel...😊 Regarding high blood pressure: It depends a bit HOW high your blood pressure is and if it has affected the growth of your baby during your pregnancy. In general, the problem is that women with hypertension need to be careful with the medication that they receive because not all of them are safe for the baby, as they affect the blood flow (f.e. to the placenta). Also, in some cases, it may cause pre-eclampsia. Is there any particular reason why you ask this question? All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there ❤️, when a baby is breech baby by week 34, we normally recommend moxibustion in combination with breech baby turning exercises which we explain in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e-kh6nxGkCk.html However, if you are not allowed to do exercises, then there is another way: you can combine moxibustion with acupuncture. Of course, this means that you would have to find an experienced acupuncturist in your area who can apply both, acupuncture and moxibustion. Another option is that you try moxibustion alone (i.e. without the exercises and without acupuncture). It DID work for some women, so maybe, it will work for you too? Apart from that, it is important to provide your baby with as much space to turn as possible. We share some tips on how to do that in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-X3sOObqZHrY.html. Just watch the beginning when we talk about the best sitting and sleeping position. We really hope this helps you!! All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi thank u for this video I am in the 35th week of my second pregnancy... In first one I had fungal infection in my vagina ... Terrible itching n redness ... It was a c-section delivery... Please advise me as to how I can avoid any infection this time around... Thanks❤️❤️
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there ❤️, please note that fungal infections are often the result of antibiotics which - we assume - you had to take after your C-section, right? The problem with antibiotics is that, although required after a C-section to prevent bacterial infections, it also kills all the "beneficial bacteria" on your vagina which have the task of keeping the fungus in check (a small amount of fungus is almost always present - however, it's not a problem as long as there are enough beneficial bacteria to keep it in check). Because of that, it is difficult to prevent fungal infections after a C-section. However, if you are having a VBAC this time, it should not be a problem. Still, there are things that you can do: 1. Change pantyliners often 2. When on the toilet, wipe from the front to the back 3. Wear breathable underwear 4. Don't use standard female hygiene products (because they disrupt the balance of the bacteria on the vagina). Instead, ask your local pharmacist what products they recommend... Finally, please note that sometimes, it's just not possible to prevent fungal infections because there are so many factors which play a role here. And if you still get one, please talk to your doctor so that they can identify exactly what kind of infection it is (so that you get the right treatment)... We hope you find this information somewhat helpful!! 😊 All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️

Hi there Jennylyn ❤️, first of all, CONGRATULATIONS on your newborn from the 2 of us!! 😍😍😍 Finally, you can hold that little thing in your arms! We hope that both, you and your baby are alright, particularly, since your baby is pre-maturely born... ❤️ Regarding your high blood pressure: We would consult a doctor about it! There is something like preeclampsia (which is normally a thing WHILE you are pregnant). However, a few women develop this condition after the baby was born. It doesn't need to be pre-eclampsia. But it's good to exclude it. So, please talk to your doctor... We hope this helps! Hi there again Amanda 😊 whenever there are problems with the incision, we recommend talking to a doctor! Most probably, everything is alright. However, your safety and well-being come first! So, please let a doctor have a look at it! ❤️ Also, thanks so much for the topic that you suggest by the way! It's a very interesting topic. In our experience, it is very difficult to make a baby suck after using a bottle because they mostly find it easier to drink from the bottle... We know that many women have the same problem. We are just not sure if we have a solution 😊. But we need to think about it... So, again, thanks a lot for recommending that topic!!

At 28 weeks my baby is in breech position with anterior placenta and nuchlal cord. Does this mean I may have to go through a C-section. Could u please help with more information about having a nuchal cord. Thanks.
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there! ❤️ The answer to your question very much depends on your doctor and your hospital. First of all, please note that a nuchal cord is not necessarily a reason for a C-section. Such babies can be delivered naturally, as long as the baby's heart rate is properly monitored when you are in labor. This is required because the risk here is that the cord is being compressed during contractions which could reduce the amount of blood pumped to the baby. If then the heart beat of your baby drops, it could become necessary to do an emergency C-section. So, the question is: is your hospital equipped for emergency C-sections? Because in some countries/hospitals, the answer is no. And when that's the case, they will not let you try naturally, but propose a C-section instead... That said, please note that SOME babies manage to "untangle" themselves, probably when they turn. We just recently had such a case. Unfortunately, we cannot tell you how likely it is to happen. However, it COULD happen. Apart from hoping, though, unfortunately, there is really nothing else you can do. The most important thing is to not get too worried and stressed about it and to take comfort in the fact that a nuchal cord is very common and that such babies are born every single day and are perfectly healthy... We hope that you find this information helpful!! All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️❤️

Not about postpartum.....should i be worried about the pain under my left breast..7weeks preg n first time mother
@CareAboutLittleOnes
@CareAboutLittleOnes 3 года назад
Hi there 😊, actually, breast pain is one of the first things a pregnant woman is going to experience (lots of other things to follow). The reason is that your body is being flooded with hormones which, among others things, have the task to prepare your body to feed that sweet little thing that is growing in your womb! Your breasts are going to grow and that growth can be painful. You can also expect to feel that pain in other areas of your breasts, particularly in the first trimester of your pregnancy. That said, as always, we recommend talking to your doctor whenever you feel any pain that worries you, in order to exclude other important reasons why you are feeling that pain! We wish you all the best for your pregnancy, for you and for your baby!! ❤️

@@loismauricenjoroge439 Okay, understood! We recommend talking to your doctor then! Because pain that you feel UNDER your breasts can be normal as your uterus grows. There are also a couple of other reasons (pregnancy-related) why you could feel pain under your breast. However, we would normally expect them at later stages of your pregnancy. So, in order to get peace of mind, we recommend talking to your doctor! We are sorry that we cannot be a better help here! All the best for you and your baby!! ❤️
