I'm very self-conscious... I just had a 95 year old, sweet, tiny lady call to me from a car to tell me I looked lovely in my Seed jumpsuit. Called me " Young Lady". 😁 Made my day. I'm 63! We chatted for a while, and I made her laugh. Win, win. ❤️🤗
Concerning the pearls. I just scored a great paperclip necklace, with a seed pearl feature, from Amazon. If your hang your white t-shirts in direct sunlight, it will naturally bleach them.
This morning, while walking down the street, a woman stopped and thanked me for dressing elegantly every day. She said it was so refreshing to see. I am wearing wide leg pants and a structured white tshirt with just a little bit of bling on it. 🎉Thank you for the inspiration❤
One thing I started doing this year to 'de-frump' my outfits was to wear ONE bright accessory. My favourite is a bright orange structured handbag - with neutrals. It works well.
Frederique I just love your hair, it shows off your beautiful bone structure and eyes. Thank you so much for all this valuable information. You inspire me to dress better always. Merci lovely lady♥️
There’s my beautiful friend!! You’ve been a huge influence for me and I’m so thrilled with my new, classy look! I get compliments everywhere I go! I can’t thank you enough❤
Hi there! I cannot emphasize enough how helpful Frederique has been over these years! She has created so much content and i actually go back for styling tips. I have become a better person both in terms with my own self and style! Love her!

Pearls are timeless. Elegant, sophisticated and very pretty. I absolutely love them and have my cherished salt water pearls near me always. I have had them for years and years.
I love two pearl necklaces, one a bit longer than the other. I saw an elegant young woman with two pearl necklaces. I asked my hubs for them for Christmas. I love them so much
I wear pearls with jeans, slacks, dresses, skirts, even shorts. Fabulous! Nothing older about it. In my 70s love them and still wear them. All different styles and kinds of pearls.
Ball shaver, lol!! That cracked me up!! 😂😂 Thank you for this wonderful video. I always learn so much from your content and the way you share your fashion sense. ❤
I love and own a few teach coats and blazers I love also especially leather ones ❤this you can wear with anything! And pearl necklaces I love also and have a few different ones especially the long type ones❤ great classy styling tips thanks for sharing ❤
In the US, JCPennys carries St. John's Bay & they have the best t-shirts I've found yet, 100% cotton, I get them in both crew & v-neck & each in short & long sleeve :)
Real pearls feel gritty against your teeth. But you can very gently check them against one another and get the same gritty feeling. If they feel slippery they are fake. 😳 🙂Love pearls! Thank you, Frederique.
Heylooo! Sorry for being late! Thank you so very much for the second part! This is so important for us to remember to be kind to ourselves! Over the years that show on our face! I really really appreciate all the suggestions. Very insightful! Love from India ❤❤
❤I enjoy these fashion video because I’ve benefited from them BUT I do miss the “controversial” videos, very informative in a classy way, I understand why you wouldn’t make those again.😉🤷🏼♀️. God bless you, beautiful!🤩
Me too! She was sharing some great information!! It makes me sad to think they didn't do well and she was forced to go back to just fashion videos 😢 I would listen to her talk about anything!
I’ve been enjoying your videos and really like your style. I noticed that you like linens a lot. So do I. I just wonder if people wear linens in the winter if you live in areas that do not have winter like tropical areas?
Great video with so many good points!! My birthday month is June so pearls are a must (and because my Mother said so). And I just found a fantastic white t-shirt and trench coat so I am good there. Love these videos!!
I love my pearls! I have a whole set of black pearls and white now. Compleate with coin pearl dangles in both colors. But I cant wear them all at once or I look stuffy! What about mixing and matching black and white sets ie black earrings and white necklace?
That third piece makes all the difference. Whether it's a blazer, cardigan, wrap, I think it finishes an outfit. What do you think? I love a lightweight white merino wool tee. I think it looks a bit more substantial. White tee can look like undershirts. Love your bag!
The little balls that are attached to your clothing and happen with rubbing on fabric, is called "pilling" (PILL-ing). Lint is the fabric in the hot clothing dryer screen when the dryer is done, the soft stuff. Also "Lint" is used as in when you have little threads or bits that just get on your clothing naturally, like, "there is lint all over my black pants" (and wiping our hands on our pants trying to wipe it away). Thanks for the video!
Thanks. Regarding the pearls NEVER put on sunscreen while wearing them because it damages the pearls. It will take away the luster/shine/sheen on your pearls. Just letting folks know. I did that to one of my fresh water pearls so I know what I am talking about.. Enjoy.
Hi Frederick, did you link the bag you had shown at the end of the video?, I would realy appreciate it you can update the post, even with just the description to find it, thank you xox
Thanks for your great videos! On the subject of pearls: I inherited a beautiful Tahitian pearl necklace, but have no idea what clothes/colors to pair it with. Help!
Well I'm feeling pleased with myself, hahaha. I have all the pieces you mentioned except a structured handbag. I used to have a few but now I need to carry a water bottle all the time so I use mainly totes. There are quality totes though. I also have all the pieces from part 1, however. I need to replace my jeans, they are just too worn, lasted years though. Thanks for your videos Frederique
Frédérique, your videos are so useful and practical. They’ve been a real “coming of age” series for me. I’ve just donated my whole DVD and CD 💿 collection to charity. They’ve been sitting in my room collecting dust for years. I’m pretty sure this was influenced by you.
I’m so immature sometimes 😩 I giggled at “ball trimmer” even though I knew exactly what you meant. 😂 I might as well be 13 years old… just childish 🤦🏾♀️ Your recommendations are always valuable. And of course you’re always very chic on camera. 🤩Thanks for your hard work. Please keep it up 😘
I roll in my sleep. My strand would get broken! My jeweler who is old enough to be my older auntie says they should be the first thing you take off , & the last thing you put on
I use to work for a small company that re-strung pears. They would wash them with soap and water with a toothbrush to get them clean. Makeup gets on them easily. Then we would detach all the pearls from the string and then re string them for jewelry companies. I don’t recommend that you do this. Take them to a jeweler.
I prefer luster don't know if this corect name because this is the finest wool material for autumn and winter, linen and raw or natural silk for summer.
@@ms.frederique YES!! it’s in my cart. I hope you’re paid 😘 I get greedy and want every color. I fight it! ARRIVING WEDNESDAY!!! I also bought a sweater in brick: Imily Bela Women's Kimono Batwing Cable Knitted Slouchy Oversized Wrap Cardigan Sweater I couldn’t resist it. So cool ❤
