My theory is that Deoxys is actually a mutated Starmie, just like Diance is a mutation of Carbink. Both Starmie and Deoxys have 5 limbs, can regenerate their bodies, come from space and have a core that resembles a gem and is their most important organ.
For Pokerus, I always imagined Deoxys to be kind of a mutated form of it for all its similarities. The old symbol for it was a red and blue coloration, and the thing is it affects stat growth positively and to the extreme.
I imagine that Mimikyu could be similar to a bogart from Harry Potter. It has no singular form underneath the disguise but can shape-shift to the scariest possible thing to whoever sees it at the time.
I remember hearing a few times that gamefreak wanted to make the smallest pokemon, and I don't know why pokerus didn't occur to them as the world's smallest pokemon though cause it makes complete sense to do so to make a microscopic pokemon
I feel like given the fact that poor little mimikyu is so demonized by the region he lives in the very few trainers have been willing to train it and because of that he gets very lonely and other Pokemon reject him cuz he's not one of them. So because of that I feel like if a trainer forms a really strong bond with him then he'd be willing to let you see what's under his cloak (and not die)
Pretty sure it's actually that Mimikyu wear the disguise to avoid killing people, because just looking at Mimikyu's true appearance is enough to kill someone. It's not that it wants to kill people.
I mean, it doesn’t kill you on purpose, it’s just that looking at it is so scary that you literally die. So I think that if you love it enough, it won’t be scary and you can look at it without dying.
@@doctorxawesomestop-motion1234 How much you love something doesn’t mean you can magically not be scared of it. I don’t care how much I love mimikyu, if it reveals to be a spider beast I’m still gonna scream and run! Love doesn’t make you not fear something. It’s likely it’s not exactly scary but, like the video suggests, has some kind of power to kill people with it appearance! Maybe it somehow makes you see your worst nightmare giving you a heart attack.
Finally a good art of the dragon of Kyreum, Zekrom, and Reshiram combined. I never like how other art literally uses the "half" of each dragon which bugs me so much. The one in this video have both mixed in instead of separating each feature.
Mimikyu is based on a fairy from Brittany, called the Bugul Noz, which was said to be so ugly that people die from seeing it. That's why it hides usually in caves, so that it cannot be seen. It'll even make monstrous noises to frighten away people when they get too close to it. But I love your theory more, with the eyes of absolute fear
Dragon Eevee would evolve after learning a special Dragon Type move, just as Eevee needed to know a Fairy Type move to evolve into Sylveon. Something like... "Dragon Wish" or "Ancient Focus" would be great names for new Dragon type moves.
Eevee grew to level 32. Eevee wants to learn "Ancient Focus". **eevee forgets bite and learned "Ancient Focus"** Whats this?! Your Eevee is evolving! Congratulations! Your Eevee evolved into Drakeon. Ancient Focus: Type: Dragon Description: The user focuses his primal instinct and converts it into power. It ups the ATK, DEF and the user's SPEED.
I once heard a fan theory that the ancient form of Genesect is Paras’ real evolution before it had the mushrooms that turns it into a zombie when it becomes Parasect and the mushroom is in control.
@@0MysticDragon140 maybe, but there are still some differences between the two that i don't think should be there if scientist were just trying to upgrade kabutops. i liked the paras theory and wanted to share it.
I remember talking about Pokerus with a friend a long time ago. When I mentoned how rare it was, he gave me a weird look. He literally didn't believe me when I told him that it was literally much less likely than encountering two shiny pokemon in a row. I've encountered it a few times, but never extremely common. I've definetely run into more random shinies.
Weirdly enough, I tend to get Pokérus fairly often in my games. The first time I got it I was freaking out until I realized it made my team level up faster.
with the dragon type eeveelution thing, its completely possible. all eeveelutions are special attacking types, or that are more focused on range. thats why you dont see a steel type eevee. so the dragon typing can be something that fits.
My mimikyu suspicion: Mimikyu isn’t why the trainer died, the trainer dying is just a mishap. The real thing under Mimikyus mask shall be revealed by a trainer with true heart, not Ash, the heart must be stronger.
I honestly feel legends arceus is Nintendo's chance to show us the primal forms of all pokemon such as gene sect, the original dragon, arceus, etc, I'd adore to see this amazing idea be fleshed out if nintendo ever tries it
well i know I'm from the future so I know about legends arceus not having that in it, but even if it wasn't released yet it would make no sense. We knew from the first trailer it was set in ancient times, but humans were around which meant that fossil Pokémon couldn't be.
My favourite is definitely the Fossils in their right form. Since I first saw those four Pokemon, I was immediately convinced that Cara Liss foolishly fused the two Fossils halves together. I faced many an argument from people, fun times. I love love love the original forms! As for the Legendary Beasts that Ho-Oh revived, Game Freak actually has beta designs of them that are theorised to be what they looked like before becoming Entei and the others. I do like the design in this video though, it's simple yet brilliant!
Funny story, plesiosaur was (and still is) my favorite "dinosaur", but I recently learned that it's not technically a dinosaur, but a prehistoric marine reptile
Would be cool if there was a category called Divine or Divinity that was one step up from legendary and mythical. Maybe the biggest difference would be that they actually have the ability to create new life? 🤔
It would make sense to have the Pokemon responsible for The Universe, Time, Space and all those concepts to be top tier, and then all of the physical realm Pokemon that created the world like Kyogre, Groudon and The Regis and Genies be the next tier as they are forces of nature. The rest tend to be more powerful magical creatures that didn't really create the world / universe but are rare and / or powerful. Mythicals would generally be on that tier too I guess...
I think that adding a new tier of Pokémon would be a bad idea from a selling perspective. Now since Pokémon games are targeted at a younger audience, game freak needs to keep their rare Pokémon simple. You have the Legendaries- ones which are mentioned in myths and the Mythicals- like urban legends. Adding another tier would be hard to keep track of and cause other problems too.
For number 6 I feel like it should have an ability called triple judgment where it has all the types and when it gets hit by any move a 25℅ chance to do normal damage 25℅ chance to do non very affected 25℅ chance to do nothing and 25℅ chance to do very affected
@@DisgaeMi Dragon would still go with the theme of special attackers from the first three generations which is I think what they were going for. Steel and ghost were Physical the first three generations
3:32 Hitmonlee's dex entry states that it can harden the sole of it's foot as hard as diamonds to destroy its enemy. and only a diamond can cut a diamond
Theres so many pokemon out there whos physical strenght is considered so overpowered that its literaly stupid to believe that none of em could open a Cloyster or Forretress. Tyranitar is another good example, known to simply crush whole mountains just to make their nest. Or how about Regigigas who FUCKING PULLED THE CONTINENTS
@@HUNTERxROY Yeah, if you got a Machamp mad, it would punch you 1,000 times to the horizon and you'd be dead, and Gardevoir LITERALLY can make black holes appear
ok, so hear me out, i think some of the legendaries you can catch are not the real ones (for example, the weather trio). just imagine this: you catch rayquaza and (for some reason) you keep it in the box. what if a meteorite approaches earth while rayquaza is trapped? there would be no one to stop it, so probably the more important legendaries are just weaker copies. it would make no sense that a 10 year old was able to catch an omnipotent being with just a ball, so it's possible that the arceus we can see in the games is just a little amount of its power, with his real form being incomprehensible to the human mind
this is actually confirmed in he games, it's just that very few Pokémon are omnipresent with those few being: Arceus,Dialga,Palkia,Giratina (but only in the distortion world),Ultra Necrozma (but only in the world of ultra megalopolis and Zygarde with its cells. Rayquaza,Kyogre and Groudon are the physical manifestations of the sky,sea and land. But they are physical beings.
16:21 The flippers in this one are the best part. I picture him squeaking like "Ahe!...-" Btw, I named my Dratini Rubby bc she looks like a rubber toy plus I wanna rub her littke head... "Come here, Rubby! I have some fishes for you!♡"
Hey Dobbs, love your videos also I noticed on Mimikyu how its supposed to be from Gen 1, I have a theory and it includes the Pokemon Manga where they show the unidentified Pokemon who didn't like being seen and escaped from the trainer, Trainer showed Pikachu love more than it, it got upset and lost, disguised itself as a Pikachu to be loved.
Pokémons I think you forgot: - shelder after unfuse with slowpoke (some Pokedex about Slowbro says they can separate and unevolve) - Cubone and marowak without the bone helmet - the feet's of digglet (according with a Pokemon mystery dungeon, digglet has feet's) - the "evolution" of Raichu by trade in Pokemon Gold, Silver and/or Crystal (When you do one trade in these games, the woman who receives the Raichu tells he evolved, I think the Japanese version you trade a graveler or haunter instead Raichu)
Cloyster- just a Gastly Genesect- a motorcycle (yes, it's a motorcycle if you'd just look at it 😂) Forrtres- (however you spell it 😂) a pinecone(?)... In a shell....?
Not exactly. Hardness is specifically a resistance to scratching, durability is different; it measures how hard it is to break something, and apparently, diamonds can be shattered pretty easily
Actually, it's the hardest natural mineral, as humans have synthesized tougher minerals, plus a big downside of diamond is although it is hard, it shatters real darn easily if you strike it wrong, due to it's crystaline structure. A tougher synthetic mineral is either Tungsten when superheated, synthetic Sapphire, diamonds synthesized by humans to make them more stable, and a unique carbon mineral that is extremely hard to puncture as it is made by burning something that was alive (organic) on copper and using some reactant to melt the imperfections away and you get a fabric like mineral that is atom thin and requires a elephant balancing on top of a sewing needle to puncture. So you're only mostly right, if you discount man made minerals, as all rocks, minerals, and crystals/gems are all in the same category of science.
Fun fact: the microscopic animal that is shown when pokebuss is shown to demonstrate Pokebuss is called a water bear or a tardigrade. It is the most resilient creature on earth being able to survive when drowned, put inside of an ice cube, surviving fire or even being dropped into a volcano, it is not confirmed but water bears might not be able to survive headlong collisions at nearly 1,000 meters per second.
Whats funny about Arceus is as you said, we learnt more from Legends. Its stated that we only obtain a "Piece" of Arceus, implying we do not see the complete form
I can't explain the joy it brings me to finally see someone else to come to a conclusion so similar to mine on what Mimikyu looks like under its rag. I'm a Mimikyu fan, and have developed my own set oh hipothesis and theories around the topic, and this is the one closer to mine with a design almost perfectly matching mine 👏 It's like knowing that I'm not crazy and that my theory is rational enough for someone else to think it 😅
Genesect Was Actually Grass And Bug Because It's Gun Was A Horn And It Was Made Out Wood And Vines Wrapped Round It Fun Fact It Had The Same Eyes As It's Shiny Form
Mimikyu is the cutest little thing. I just wanna give ut a bath and tell it that it is loved. Tale of that rag and be confident! Stop being insecure! Sweetie, step out there, and you can do it! Your not disgusting, your the best! ♡♡♡
