The Super Mushroom cannot only make Mario grow,shrink and give a 1Up but a certain purple Mushroom can also poison/kill our fav FORMER Plumber (odd how we say it like it is spelled as p-l-u-m-e-r or plumber when it is actually p-l-u-m-m-e-r,huh??).
Yeah i have a 2ds but i didn't really got into playing it. The screens are really crappy... I think the 3d and the faster loading times will keep me playing(i got super mario maker, mario kart 7, ...) any games you like?
Super mario bros 3 manual states that the koopalings are his children. A quote from Bowser him self saids "HA HA HA! These are my 7 children that are going to help me take over the Mushroom World!"
Actually, Luigi WAS slated to originally be in Super Mario 64, but due to space restraints, he was cut from the game. However, Super Mario 64 was also going to be a two player cooperative game as well, but, like Luigi, that was also cut from the game. Now if the original game coding was there for both things, then it may very well be possible that Luigi is, in fact, still within the Super Mario 64 game code, as well as the two player simultaneous mode in the game. However, barring that, you could just be lazy and play as him in Super Mario 64 DS.

I don't think Nintendo has ever given any thought to the back stories of any of the character. That's why there are so many theories out there. So many things just don't make sense from Mario game to Mario game.

... I always explain this Bowser Jnr. is actually Bowser but younger. This was stated in a Mario game where Bowser goes back in time to destroy the baby Mario bros. and he meets a younger him calling that child Bowser, Bowser Jnr.

I would simply say this about King Bowser/Big Devil Koopa and Princess Peach Toadstool. King Bowser is not looking to do evil per se, but, rather, his heart was broken by Princess Peach because she did not like Bowser, he scared her, she thought that he was a creepy stalker, and that, as many legends of the Mushroom Kingdom, and surrounding lands have said, Koopa like bowser were inherently evil and that they were all to not be trusted. However, it is more than that, for according to some sources, Bowser once had a wife by the name of Clawdia and one could deduce that Clawdia may have had a very similar appearance to Princess Peach, despite being a Koopa like Bowser (which the comics did not display that in their pages, unfortunately). Furthermore, it is also very plausible that Bowser also lost Clawdia while the stork was on the way with their child, or, if one wanted to be applying literal turtle reproductive logic to a fictional universe, she basically died in the act of laying the egg that would give birth to Bowser Jr. Bowser became angry at Peach's rejection of him, thus you have the actions that led up to Mario Brothers, Super Mario Brothers, and the entire Mario saga from that point. Granted, the comics might not be considered as canonical sources of information, but at least paying respect to that by Nintendo Co. Ltd. would be a MUCH better way to make a storyline and since Super Mario Odyssey is a much deeper Mario game, as was the entire Paper Mario and Mario & Luigi sagas, and Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars, than the typical entries of the Mario franchise, it would only behoove Nintendo to finally resolve this issue and make Clawdia a legitimate and canonical part of the Mario universe. Now as for the Koopalings, their explanation is a bit easier to explain and that is that, once upon a time, Bowser either had a brother or a sister, they married an unrelated Koopa, said sibling and their opposite gendered spouse had seven children, and a tragedy hit the lives of their parents shortly after the hatching of Iggy Koopa. However, what this tragedy is specifically is unknown at this time, but I speculate that it was the Koopa tampering with dark magic or that they were working on some machinery and/or invention of some sort and there was an accident and they both died. The alternate scenario was that each Koopaling was an orphan and Bowser adopted them all at once. However, in both scenarios, both he and Clawdia helped raised them prior to the egg that made Bowser Jr.

I just thought of a theory. What if Mario is NOT EVEN HUMAN. I mean, he and his brother never had parents, they were delivered by storks, they live in a magical Kingdom with mushroom people, and since magic doesn't exist, well yeah. He can turn into animal - human hybrids, he can shoot fireballs, he can get bigger by eating a mushroom, there are animals that can grow up in less than 5 seconds, in his world there are floating blocks, there is dead but resurrected koopas, a koopa that can see into the future, use a magic wand and can teleport. He can fly when given a certain super power, there are flowers that can breathe fireballs, there's a spiky-shelled, fire-breathing turtle-dragon-dinosaur thing. So yeah. There you have it. Mario is not human.
