Best line in the whole vid: "ya, it's like 8 or 9". Who says that? Most guys overestimate by 10% and then tell you what the scale showed. As always, great demonstration of a straightforward approach to catching fish. Keep it up TB. My favorite RU-vid channel!

Ronald Bonar as long as you get the fish on the boat and it's alive it counts and I know because I spent a year with my family that lives in California and my uncle and cousin are professional fisherman and they only like bass fishing

Absolutely great video! Love the action coverage. Funny thing is Tim played that 10.88 exactly like Matt played the 12.3 he caught with me. Such patience! You guys are terrific. And I completely agree about the Loomis CBR845-Shimano combo, although my reel is the 50mg, still the best Chronarch ever made.

Enjoyed that one for sure, nice style of video. The thing I enjoy the most of you guys is how open you are to the what/when and how you catch your fish. All in the details, the why and I really like it. Your channel as helped me a ton for clear water fishing and gave me a ton of confidence on the water that I will be able to transpose on my channel when the season starts up here in Qc,Canada. Nice video.....I like to see the fish catches.....I like the informative videos also. You guys help keep me in the game even with limited time on the water the past few years(KIDS). These videos do so much to cut everyones learning curve on bass fishing its pretty ridiculous. Information that would take years to learn is now summed up in many of these videos. I would have killed for this kind of info circa 2000......it just wasn't out there. Videos that aren't centered around a particular sponsor or product are also refreshing and you guys are the ONLY ones doing it with quality content that I have seen. Keep up the great work fellas!

Awesome. Guess I'll be fishing vicariously through you guys this season. They closed the pond I fish till October for repair of the walkway that goes around it. Nearest decent water to fish is two hours away. Sorry about the whining but no fishing is painful to me. So keep the catch clips coming for us northeastern tiny bass catching nuts. Tight lines brothers.

Chuck Cooper I'm sure there are productive waterways closer than 2 hrs from you that you don't know about. Google Maps is a game changer, scope out some ponds, rivers, lakes, streams, creeks, ANYTHING that has water near you. You'd be surprised... I'm from the NE too, and I don't think there's any where in the US that has only 1 decent fishing spot within 2 hrs from it... just do some exploring on your own

Well, you're right there is fishable water under 2 hours away, but productive water is another story. I have google mapped the heck out of my neck of the woods. I'm bank fishing so that narrows things a bit. And I'm spoiled. My closed pond is three blocks from my house. But I'll take your advice and try some of the urban water I see on google. I saw a fishing show where this guy had a secret spot 20 minutes from Manhattan where he hooks into Northern Pike.

David Jeon your comment and mine are the same this is a great way to find new spots and that’s truly what it’s all about I’m also bad about having a favorite spot but sometimes spots go dead or fish move on and others come in etc so I’ve now come to the conclusion changing spots regularly is the way to go nothing like catching a giant in a new spot to make it your new favorite spot

That's so funny that you said he was on the phone while he caught it on a lipless. I had the same thing happened to me around the exact same time except that i was catching six and seven pounders on a lipless. I was on the phone with my nephew while I was catching them!!

I sometimes wonder if big bass just know the drill once they’ve been caught. I took a 7 pounder today and once I got her out of the water, she just sort of sat there...like she was just waiting to go back. The little ones freak out so much more than the bigger ones.

nice one. i fish the lipless a lot, i like it, it casts good from shore and can work it whichever water column you want, . but i still never got one on it. good job on the dd, i want to get one badly. but i dont have a scale so i have no idea even what my pb is. is there such thing as a cheap accurate scale? i went an bought a cloth tape measure to maybe take measurements if i get another big one. so then i can at least use math to get a close weight on my next one. nice vid cya
