yes if u think out how to get the barb out with minimal damage, you realize what angle the hook needs to be and how and where to apply the pressure to maintain this angle
The seven pounder- "see you there stupid I told you not to do it" The three pounder- "It's all good, I got my picture taken, I got kissed and I'm back here to tell you all about it"! 😂😂😂
I've been eager to re-engage with bass fishing and deepen my understanding beyond basic techniques like using a plastic worm with splitshot. In my pursuit, I've been exploring budget-friendly gear options and have developed an appreciation for the technology and value associated with higher-priced equipment. Currently, I'm considering investing in the Aird X Medium Heavy Fast Action rod, measuring 7'3" in length, which is designed to accommodate lure weights ranging from 1/4 to 1 ounce. However, I find myself unfamiliar with selecting the appropriate braided line for this setup as I have traditionally used mono on all my reels. I am interested in transitioning to braided line and seek guidance on the suitable weight for an all-purpose rod. Additionally, I'm curious about the necessity of switching between different types of leaders when changing lures on the water. I understand that this rod combination is versatile, suitable for various techniques including Texas rigging, jigging, topwater lures, buzzbaits, frogging, and even medium-sized swimbaits. I appreciate the valuable content you produce and encourage you to continue your excellent work.
Idiotic statement. Skeeters come with Yamahas. Those Yamahas will outlast anything else other than maybe a Suzuki...which is also Japanese...OMC/BRP outboards went belly up and some Mercs are also made overseas.
That is the best setup that I have ever seen. I love you and Matt’s channel you don’t hide anything and it’s helped me more than you know . The new boat is awesome
Man, wish I knew this sooner. Caught a shaky head to the jaw from another angler on Saturday. Buried itself deep in there. Tried getting it out myself but ended up going to the ER under the recommendation of the fire department for them to push the barb through my skin and cut the barb off. I begged the fire department to just pull it out but they said they couldn’t… can’t wait to get that ER bill over something I should have done myself
Why it show 2 different hooks in their hand though? The 1st hook looked like a VMC Black Nickle hook and the 2nd hook the silver one. Why show 2 different clips with different Hooks?
I never really thought about it, but I love the fact that keitech (swing Impact fat) color coded their swimbait sizes. Just now realizing that I know what size they are just by the color all the way up to 5.3
I live in Louisiana. I have a couple of these swim jigs set ups, but I have never caught a fish on them so I don’t use them. Don’t really know how to use them the right way. Is it a finesse style? Do I just throw it out and start cranking?
