Long gearing is not an issue actually ,if u are in cities and meant to deal with traffic in your daily life you don't need to constantly shift the gears...just put on the second gear and ride it in the traffic ,it actually became the automatical . It reduce the stress of handling gears ,it's actually a nice thing done by honda for the city usage
Hey Maheshwar, yes I agree but for someone who's buying this bike they'll go on long rides and tours and for cruising on highway you will feel like you're running out of acceleration because of tall gearing. That's just my personal experience other than that in traffic that's not an issue.
@@kaifnasir1259 thats not an issue, can downshift and get the torque you want to overtake. But personally i feel gearing is very well suits for the Indian city traffic , with assist clutch its easy to maneuver when compared to heavy clutch RE bikes.
Agree with Brakes, Could ve been better, doesn't feel like ABS at all. Also Agree with Mirrors, all we see is our arms. Rest all are Nitpicks imo and personal preferences and you can literally see all those things just before buying the bike, its not something you notice after buying.
My friend ABS gets triggered at very specific situations and you can feel it working as well as it shows in instrument cluster. I was talking about the brake bike in general which could've been a tad bit better.
@@kaifnasir1259 Yes I get that. I thought you were talking about hard breaking. On breaking front, the bike that I found is the best at this is RE Interceptor. Compared to that I did not feel RS had noticeable breaking performance missing. I would like to highlight the biggest negative in my opinion, it is the very small fenders; driving in rain and mud is a big no no with this bike
@@kaifnasir1259 I believe the bikes you mentioned are of different segment and have much more power delivered in a different and explosive way, which is why they need good stopping power and thus much better brake bite.
The wide spaced gear ratio and tall gearing are the main issue, otherwise everything is pretty good. I wished that even if they made the gearing tall, the gear ratio would have been closer much like that of those japanese sports bike we come to know and love
Couldn't agree more my friend! Tall gearing is indeed a thing of concern because you run out of acceleration each time you upshift the gear and I always find myself struggling with that as I find myself downshifting quite a lot.
Hi both pls check this video.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SMd8DOyyg8g.html This bike is meant for different category.. this is not an issue.!
Ds guy should be a ROYAL ENFIELD guy talks bull shit I am using Honda CB RS for the past 3 years & 100% satisfied. One thing each one taste is different 😊
The top gear is really disappointed. I can't overtake and get enough acceleration in fifth gear. Initial pickup is superb. Suddenly I feel the power is vanished.
Some are not flaws some flaws ll be solved by ecu update and some real flws are highlighted by every youtuber revwing this bike. So its not like 10 flaws you wished someone could told you before. So before buying u shd check on RU-vid and test ride it. I test ridden all such bikes and this one i ridden 3 times before taking decision. And brother believe me there is no brake issue. Only cons are brk pad to be replaced soon and some parts are prone to rusting. Otherwise nice vehicle 😊
I m a mechanic I work on sports and indian bikes. I m having uc engine 350 std even a std uc engine 500 and 2021 honda cb 350 rs. .I know short gear box and long gear box very well. Both the Hondas execpt smoothness of the engine and the clucth, the other things like suspension, lights, braking and the quality of the paint on the chassis and other black parts are worst.😢.. the black colour of the chassis an the parts starts peel off within six months. Now I m going knock down the all bike and get the paint work in my garage.
Yes, a big patch of my black paint from the chasis came out. Paint quality is rubbish. Enfield's paint quality is much better than this. I am regretting now that I have bought it on the name of Honda.
