If we go back to the old format and mix in a few on the couch episodes I’d be happy!! These have been so entertaining! Missing Woods tho and know we won’t get Tan man back.
most of these products are based on a lot of trends/pop culture i have seen on social media over the years (nic cage, furbies, weird and/or absurd decor, toilet paper, etc.), with some definite curveballs in the mix, so i'm not all that surprised there's a market for them on a site like etsy tbh loved the video, and absolutely would love to see another like this!
👍My husband is a long-time D&D player and we're both big fans of dragons and fantasy. Proud nerds. Our game room is decorated with dragons. His sister gifted us a set of dragon eggs very similar to the ones in the video. The "scales" on ours are heat sensitive and change color if you handle them... which impresses the kids... and an adult or two. 😊

To be fair, the apple watch hand would be a great gift for someone who loves The Addams Family. More specifically ‘Thing’. The hand was the least weird product there. Some of ya’ll out there are looking for some weird products 👀
This was quite possibly my favorite episode ever of dope or nope. Ever. Seeing Matthias so uncomfortable and simultaneously shopping for odd decor- such a win. Can’t wait to creep you out at Trader Joe’s soon!

Matt is one of those dudes that takes things at face value, doesnt experience them for himself, and just follows the general consensus. Example: the walnmart thing. I mean i dont blame him but still no wonder he felt nothing when he hit 1 mil.
The thumb tacks, banana sculpture, furby, and the dragon eggs. Also, I'd like to note that most of these weren't strange. Honestly, I just recently went to Etsy because I wanted to go to the dark side where things were weird. I had found some crazy questionable things and honestly I may have found two things I would get on purpose.
What gets me is the toxic generalization that it's only dads who are "absent." I know at least two women who abandoned their kids and husband. And even though both my "parents" where/are around, they're extremely neglectful and abusive. So even if you have parents, that doesn't mean you have them.
I have a cousin that was raised by his dad after his mom left him as a baby, and my mother moved out of state when I was 15 and I was living with a friends family. I know I don't have the worse life, but it's good for me to laugh about things. Even if the package said "absent mother" , it would still get the same reaction from me. Just stating my point of view.

As an experienced fatherless person, I think in a group giving situation it would be awkward. But like one on one would be funny. Id also have this on my shelf
I have to agree with Sam that the flying Furby is actually kind of cute. I think we all have a little weirdo inside of us, some more than others, but you just have to embrace it!
Great videos, long time fan. So I remember the lone Matt days. But think it could get swapped up. I mean we lost tanner, and at the same time you ripped the band aid off by taking woods away too!! We want woods!
I know matt is a busy ceo but since literally the only active channel in hi 5 studios right now is dope or nope, what the heck were they so busy with that they could only release one episode a weak and they supposedly stockpiled videos in advance even tho it seems like they're merely a week to a month delayed. YES im salty that they fumbled their time with tanner. even tho its been like 2 years i feel ike we've only had 10 videos with the trio. and thats counting the boring ones.
XD I was just imagining if Matt had thought about what Tanner would do if he saw the objects...I think it might've given him a different view on them. My closest friends would LOVE these products, because they're all very artsy and creative. Just imagine you give that pushpin dragon egg to a fantasy writer, and those earrings I can TOTALLY see myself and my friends wearing. Am I weird? I don't think so- just have a sense of humor that includes cackling at puns and odd objects. Also, Sam- you definitely rocked those earrings!
