Excellent points, thank you so much for explaining how they might be used in real life! An other very powerfull trigger is scarcity principle, wich also works with loss aversion. (wich you used when promoting your webinar ;) ) When we see something is in limited quantity, we figure it must be in high demand and therefore good. It creates a feeling of urgency and pushes people to act now, to not miss out. Hotel and flight booking companies are notorious for using this psychology, when they say something along the lines "8 other people are looking at this room right now" or "only 2 seats left at this rate". (Loss Aversion) Anchoring can also be used to push customers to buy more items. Ever seen signs in supermarkets saying you can only buy 12 bottles of soda to the discounted price? Most people would never consider buying 12 bottles of soda. Seeing that sign makes customers consider that 12 bottles is an option, wich can trigger customers to buy 3 instead of 2 bottles. It also makes the sodas look more popular because it creates a feeling that some will buy a lot more than 12 bottles if they had a chance. It can also be used to get more sales. Say someone buys a watch for $149, at the checkout when presented with a choice to get new cute earrings for $12, that price will seem insignificant compared to what the customer committed to pay. When taking product photos of products, there's an other trigger at play. It's called The Halo Effect. It works like this - when a customer is looking at a necklace presented by a very pretty girl, we subconsiously transfer her beauty onto the necklace itself. And that works in ridiculous situations, where even car manufacturers use highly attractive people in their commercials.

In a way, you’re hurting yourself more than any of our customers, but I’ve got a feeling that you won’t understand what that means.
Actually, that cat coffee spoon does solve a problem; some people (such as myself) just leave the spoon in the cup while drinking from it. The shape of that spoon lets you hang it from the edge of the cup so it won't bounce around and poke you in the eye!
Your videos are way better than these seminars you're pushing. You must be getting a cut. Dan and Eric are slick salesman who don't reveal they're selling a class for $2,000. Again, love these vids but the peddled webinars ~ not so much.
I understand. Dan and Eric provided lots of free training: and I always warn people if people will be selling their course on a webinar! This was no exception. The Wholesale Formula is a fantastic program with incredible results and is usually closed. I'm always wondering in these types of videos with tips and advice; there's always a huge number of comments saying "best advice", "this is gold" etc... yet it feels like not one of them have actually implemented let alone contrasted this advice with something else. Not saying the advice is bad... just saying, free advice always sounds good for some reason.

Can you HELP me? I’m pricing stuff on eBay but don’t get how to pic correct price? Say I had a range of 30.99-31.99-32.99-33.99-34.99-35.99-36.99-37.99-38.99-39.99. What should I pick? 29.99 is too low for my profit I’d like. Also how should I pick profit? I normally make 10-20 profit. So say I have to list it at 30.99 to make my minimum of 15 profit what do I pick? Or should I only make £5 profit or take it down a few to 29.99 ? Thing is if I price it higher I need less sales to make my goal income but lower margin means more sales, but then if itS prices lower I will make more sales? But if I don’t make more sales then its better to list higher and hope to get that higher profit sale. IDK WHAT TO PICK ?
Wow that's the same numbers basically a third would respond back, that's what I saw in my Mortgage Bank, International Real Estate Brokerage and Media Company. I even saw that with client appreciation parties. 30 would RSVP confirmed and 10-12 would show up. Seminars and workshops the same thing. Interesting

I'm a Poshmark seller and I can only implement a few if these, but you covered a few things I have been doing wrong that I was unaware of. Such as the product against an all white background. Thank you for offering this knowledge free and because you have, I subscribed, liked, shared and commented. Please consider doing a video on Poshmark / mercari / tradsy / etc. type of platforms. With the millions of people who use them, very few are extremely successful. Most hardly break even, myself included. i am googling about dropshipping, so the google is showing me the related content to it and i am seeing ads based on it and he is saying that dropshipping is kind of red ocean. and he told that his friend or student started dropshipping and gain money afterwards he is suddenly loosing his money untill $0. its too much demotivating.

The last bit of this video reminded me of a rather obscure movie called "Lock, Stock, & 2 Stolen Barrels" - The very start of the movie shows 2 of the main characters setting up shop in an alleyway, selling watches. At 1st it's 1 guy, his little podium thing, and a briefcase full of watches, and he's really trying to sell these watches saying only 10 Pounds a watch, and not a single person wanted one, then his buddy walks up from in the crows and says "10 Pounds? Mighty fine price Sir, I'll take 1!" Then buys a watch and people start to pay attention & begin buying all the watches til the cops show up & they run away. At one point, I believe in the next scene it shows the same setup, but instead of 1 guy selling watches, it's both guys, and the man who originally bought a watch in the previous scene says something super witty - "Getcha watches! Mighty fine price, 10 Pound! Get em before their gone, and no their not stolen... They just haven't been paid for & we can't get them again they've changed the bloody locks on us!" I'm still mad I don't have that movie anymore, cracks me up the whole movie

Sarah! That wheel with dicounts... maybe it can be enchanced by replacing the "sorry" sectors with "this discount counts for your next purchase X% (not this one). Like a tip: buy 1 product now and then buy lots of products then with a discount, This is what I started thinking now. Or maybe the sectors to say "Sorryc and then the customer be happily surpraised with discount for after their purchase. Maybe after they check out with their products. I don't know if i explain it clearlt, I hope you get it. 🍀🍀
My buddy is a superior designer. He developed a tethered camera to tow behind his boat and licate fish ( later police used it for body recovery). As an excellent engineer he developed design and process for the lowest effective price. Couldn’t sell them. Gave up so decided to give up and dump inventory. Double price and sold out. Lowest price means lowest quality Some producers price is the primary ego driver. Say a cartoon about a boat owner. In his fourth boat instead of naming them Boat I and the third BOATIII he said I just gave up and named his new bigger boat $100,000
When selling a product based on pleasure instead pain, you still can drive the "pain" building on the customer the pleasure that (s)he have lost untill now. You ever will be able to recover some money that you invested, but we normally aren't capable of recover **moments* that we lost, right? They are lost FOREVER. So, compare a normal day with your kids going to school with an every day same robotic faces, with an alternative morning with their smiles looking at their funny spoons...

That coupon thing was bad for my expierience on one site. I was browsing their offer, the wheel popped up, i got the discount but it was forcing me to buy that day and give my email adress. It diverted me off their website if i remember good... Idk but i wasnt planning to buy that day, i was planning to see all what they got, heart a few and buy later. So, now i got a feeling like i lost something, didnt go back to their website, they annoying me in emails n i will probably not go back to buy. Idk it just gave me a cheap selling tactic taste. Before that i actually liked their products.
