Well done on putting this video together, Jen. It's very important for people to exercise their vote (no matter which country you come from) to see change.
And at the same time if we didn’t have an electoral college then California or larger populated states would be electing our President. Basically it is a check and balance for people whom live in rural areas or smaller populated area to have their voice counted as well. Please research about this dont just take what anyone says without doing your own research! Thanks Jen I may not agree with everything I thought it was well done!
Mary Ray Well in a simple world that makes sense. I see your logic but it’s more complicated than that. I would encourage you to take a deeper look yourself. But the electoral college ensures every state (every voter) matters in the election. It also prevents tyranny btw. It also makes stealing votes harder because you can’t predict which states matter most . In my opinion it’s the fairest way to make sure ALL voices are heard not just a state like California with a huge population would be a huge decider in the winner.
