I hear what you’re saying but Matt and chyna were very unstable and had a ton of problems outside the ring to the point it would reflect bad on the company. Chyna died from drugs and Matt Hardy has been arrested several times including an arrest for drugs and them getting cheated on just made their actions worse. You’d like to think if they were more put together and emotionally stable they wouldn’t have been let go.

Absolutely agree, I always assumed Hunter and China had broken up before the marriage skit to Stephanie. I knew about her drug and alcohol issues but didn’t know cheating caused it. I was so sad before, but now I’m absolutely heartbroken :( poor poor woman

I really don't think neither cared much. If you noticed Triple H still never mentioned her name until DX was entered in the Hall Of Fame and that was only after Shawn did. Stephanie didn't until the WWE Women Evolution PPV. Either they didn't care or just too embarrassed to say anything.

I feel sorry for chyna but i cant blame HHH. He was way over her league and not only was steph way hotter but she was also literally the best wife you could have to consolidate your wrestling career. Sure HHH should have left chyna earlier when he knew steph was his but thats that....

@@pdragonw Yeah they never mention her, ever. She was one of the main big stars in wrestling during its peak. As a kid, Chyna stuck out and most rememberable to me. Any other wrestling female, I wouldn't know as a kid because they were all the same looking blondes doing the same thing. Its like she doesn't even exist now.

As business point, yeah of course Steph would be the better choice but even that was still huge risk if their relationship didn't work out, he would have been gone so quick. @@poop_criminal2504 yeah, but, contextually, it did; her request for SCSA pay was based off of her feelings of waning political support since her biggest ally was now on bad terms with her; she overestimated her relationship with the company and assumed she'd get some kinda ultimatum; when JR sent her home and let her contract expire, it was the furthest from what she was hoping for; her motive for more pay was directly a result of feeling she was being pushed down the card which indirectly came about because her ex was now dating someone with real power. JR chose not to renew her contract because of hostile work environment and how open she was with her emotions following the split; he alluded to as much on his podcast; he, like everyone else, assumed she'd make it in Hollywood and come back bigger than ever but her demons got the better of her.

If I remember correctly, they kept her around for a while by having her manage another wrestler then they switched her to working behind the scenes. Eventually, they decided to fire her. Still a crappy move by them.

Only reason I even returned to watching WWE after 15 or so years was this graphic artist who I thought did interesting work (being a graphic artist myself I watch those RU-vid videos). That artist turned out to be Kanako Urai.....aka ASUKA!!!!!
