You forgot to mention Cobb police department. They play a big role in Marietta being one of the safest cities in close proximity to Atlanta city limits.

Thinking of getting an apartment in Marietta FIRST for 1 year. Then hire a real estate agent to look around in order to buy a house in East Cobb. I need my feet on the ground.

I've lived in Marietta for 21 years. Traffic is getting worse (even with new express lanes) but I still love living here.
