To be brutally honest, your backgrounds have no real effect on me. NOO its not because your captivating or taking away the attention from the content. Often times I just listen to the words you say while I'm doing other tasks. Audio only, if you will. But that doesn't mean I'm always only listening. I got friend zoned years ago. Were best friends for years. She wanted to spend hours with me but then let her boyfriend come over for the good stuff. So me and this one girl are “friends” and the reason why I say this is because her and I would only talk when we have class together, we would never hang out or keep in contact outside of school or class. We know things about each other and there’s definitely a connection but we don’t know one bit about each other in a way. I recently caught feelings for her and asked her to be my girlfriend. She kindly rejected called me and told me that she wants to be friends and that she isn’t ready or wants a relationship. I have a female friend whom I really like as just a friend. Anna, it happened just like you said it would. This younger woman I have been seeing has had this ice wall up I guess for protection. Her exact message was that my consistency, patience and love for her has proven exactly why she wants me in her life. I remember you said that girls wear their feelings on their sleeves and if she says these three words she means it. Well she said it and I about fell apart.
Pay attention to what a woman does not what she says. her emotions tell the truth, not her actions or words. A woman will tell you she hates your guts and then still bang you you have to push pull get her upset about something so that you can console her and keep doing this over and over and over
Reminds me of how I asked out my first girlfriend. I worked in an arcade, she worked at the theater next door. On her days off she’d come by to hang out at the arcade despite not being a gamer. She once showed up just as I was ending my shift and so we hung out at a McDonald’s together for like three hours! I never once thought she was showing interest in me! I was totally clueless. We reconnected as friends last year after she had heard about my fiancée’s passing. We were talking about that and she was always amused that I had no clue. To be fair, I was a tall, very thin (135 lbs) nerdy guy with a lion’s mane of hair. Women weren’t exactly throwing themselves at me. She on the other hand was six feet of legs and curves where it counted! After we had been dating a while she thought she’d have to go as far as to show me her boobs for me to finally get the hint!

I've been friends with this one girl for 10 years. After my most recent breakup, we started hanging out more and getting closer. We shared a kiss at one point and though we both liked it, we initially decided to remain friends. However, now she's showing signs of romantic interest by laughing at all my jokes, touching me in a flirting manner (in more places than one 😉), and all the signs presented here. Allow me to share this story! I've been talking to someone for a year and a half. We already met three times, she already introduced me to her children, her parents, we even prayed together which was special, and just recently I found out that when I declined her invitation to come over turns out she cooked for me. At that moment I had a cold which was a valid reason so yeah those were a major giveaway when someone likes you more than a friend.
We were in a relationship for about five years. The attraction was lost, and she decided to break up with me. It happened last month, in August. She definitely expressed some mixed feelings or conflicting ideas about things she doesn't want to do, but on the other hand, she still enjoys activities like watching movies and going to hockey games. Interestingly, we have plans to go ice-skating on Christmas Day at 8:30 PM at Enchant. there was one time we hung out at our house and I end up cooking dinner. I have known this lady for years back and as fate came knocking 2 years backs we suddenly grew a strong connection. I believed I had broken her Personal Space of My Lady by giving her a necklace as a Christmas Present. She blushed and welcomed me to clip it on her neck as she raised up the back of her shoulder length hair. It's a mini heart shaped necklace , and I told her that now I ever closer to her heart. Till this day , she is still wearing it. Didn't want to go overboard , but I should have kissed her there and then but I'll wait for the right time though to have our very 1st Kiss. There are 2 women at work who I'm almost certain like me but I'm in this weird end of relationship situation and I notice what they're doing but I purposely hold back from reacting to them because I feel like I don't have any business right now starting anything new with someone. Likes me or like-likes me....that is the question. She used to work at the bakery I go to a lot, and we chatted and connected so many times. Heck, about a year ago, while I was working on my laptop, I saw her lift her head up in thought, before turning to me and saying, "How was your summer?" It was kind of random, but I appreciated her interest. On her last day (Jan 2023), she said my coffee was on her. One day, I ran into her at the bar. We chatted, and I said something about her bravely coming out of her shell better than me because of her singing karaoke during her first time here. Not long after, when she and her friends were singing again, she gestured me toward them and pointed to the lyrics on the screen. What's funny is I had told her I didn't like being in the spotlight during the said "out of shell" conversation. Not to criticize her encouragement. Just saying it's interesting and I'm wondering about her motive, perspective, and if it could've meant something. But perhaps not. I'm starting to wonder if she has a boyfriend. I saw her a few nights ago at a different bar. I pretended I didn't see her in the dancing crowd, she noticed me (I think after I accidentally bumped into her), put her hand on my arm to get my attention, and said hi. It was a very brief talk, given the dancing and loudness. So of course, I did not ask for her number or to be my date at the swing dance next month. But it's not just that. She was with a group of friends, and one of them was a guy she talked with. He _could_ have been her boyfriend. What would be the signs (aside from kissing, obviously). I'm curious about the connection (or contradiction) between the potential "she-likes-me" signs and the idea of her having a boyfriend. He's the main reason I didn't ask her anything. I know someone who stated that she would be appearing cold due to being focused. Either the lack of Emojis is due to lack of interest or due to being this foused, eh? Hence, Emojis are difficult for me to interpret...
The only part of this that is the nearest to being a sign of ‘more than a friend’, is the physical touching. Everything else is still part of the friend zone. If she asks you out, instead of playing mind games, it’s the first time she’s being fair and honest.

I have a very good friend who identifies as a lesbian and is in a relationship with a woman but goes out of her way to touch me when we are working or hanging out. She low key asks me to stick around or invites out for a drink here and there. We spend a lot of time together. She assures me that she's not into men, but when it comes to me, I'm her go to for pretty much everything. We have a deep emotional connection and have shared that with each other.
