I'm in a 2 year relationship with my twin flame And it's a real rollercoaster, the ups are the best and the downs can tear you apart and we both FEEL THE SAME It's mind blowing, if you both know the concept of twin flames, then you both can try your best to work these painfull scars out, we did it! My twin flame passed a few years ago. She was the only one that understood me 100% and was truly there for me just as I was for her. I used to as well... I think it's just an awakening. Being single and doing nothing but putting work into myself I felt like that energetically attracted my twin flame. I've never felt anything like this. It's just starting but it's already been longer than any relationship I've ever had my entire life. It feels so amazing. I’ve met my twin flame 8 years ago in a foreign country. From the first moment I felt this was something different. She was younger and reminded me of a young me. It was really intense, but in the end it didn’t work out. I think about her now and and then, it has diminished over the years, but every memory is so clear and I feel the feelings again. For years I’ve fought this and wouldn’t accept someone having such an impact on me. I’ve learned to accept this and this feels actually good, I look back at this period as something positive again. We will probably never meet again. It is difficult to open up again for someone new, but that time will come.
I had exactly the same feeling, in 2014 when I was studying abroad. I was destroyed when we said goodbye after 6 months of having very strong feelings for each other, as I knew he had a girlfriend in his home country and that we were never gonna see each other again. Looking back, I am happy I got to meet him and experience these few months together and these intense feelings, even though Im sure it will never be exactly the same with anyone else.

It's real. I don't think everyone has one though. It really teaches you to transform and meet your highest self, recognize your conditioned habits, and set you on the right path. You might not realize just how deep your feelings go until both of you are separated. What's interesting especially is the energetic connection you both share. You'll start to feel that more too. The hardest part is that when you are healing, it's a literal mirror. When you see them it'll trigger you. You'll feel a ton of powerful pain and sorrow. You'll wonder how you still are alive because you're finally releasing all this emotion that needed to be purged. The hardest part about it is of you will chase and the other will run and vv. I met my twin flame at a party I almost didn’t go to. My “friends” didn’t want me to go but for whatever reason I felt the NEED to go lol. I was really introverted, anxious and insecure so I struggled being a human. By the time she came along I was sweating bullets and she simply asked, “what’s my soul’s deal?” My nerves eventually calmed and I felt normal talking to her, it was like she could bring me out of myself. That was just about two years ago around this time and we’ve been dating for like a year and half. Twin flames are real I promise. I’m just lucky enough to meet her in this lifetime. There is a separation period. Twin flame relationships burn hot but it means they burn out quick too. I speak from my experience solely and I’m still thankful that I met her. As someone who has found there's and don't have the opportunity to explore it, I could see how that would look from the outside. Feelings cannot be backed by science... So all I can say is I know what I felt, and it was intense.
Its not... its a magnetic connection with intense emotions. The love is over the top and the breakups are devastating. I was so puzzled after a breakup with my TF being that the breakup was one of the hardest things I ever had to work through. However, just as she mentions we both brought out our darkest issues we both had to face within ourselves. After we worked through its a bond between us filled with great friendship and love that will never be broken. I have my best friend and love never having to compromise we love the somethings.
I spent last year at a Christian college taking ministry classes, and one of them was about finding purpose and calling in life, called “Vocation and Calling.” The dean of the college actually taught this class, and he told us a very interesting story when we got to the unit of relationships and how they apply to our life’s purpose. He said he met this girl in college and they instantly had a significant amount of chemistry and immediately started spending all their time together. After a long while, they finally realized they were into each other romantically, so they started a relationship together. About a month later, they had complications with their relationship-he was not mature enough and sure enough in himself, and she was anxious about committing and had a destroyed view of love because of abusive people in her past. So they had a complicated break up and literally never saw each other at all for two whole years. Randomly two years later, they happened to have signed up to be on the same missions team for a mission trip together, and that event reignited and reinvigorated a spark between them. They’ve been happily married ever since. It’s such a beautiful and calming story to know that sometimes it’s not the wrong person, it’s just the wrong time, and that’s ok. They both had things they needed to work through in life before they were ready for their committed relationship. That two years gave them that time they needed to grow. Their past relationship allowed them to bond when they met each other again, and funnily enough, it was the weight of that breakup in the past that motivated them both to grow stronger and heal their past trauma. All these things are part of a process, and when looking back on it all, it’s undeniable everything happens for a specific reason. It’s such a peaceful feeling to know that if you are truly meant to be with someone, it will work out. Ultimately, time is the revealer of this grand story :)
You're not at all understanding what feeling whole with your partner actually means... There's a difference. When you feel whole with someone, it simply means that life is more fulfilling with that partner than when alone. Codependency is when you are unable to even be yourself unless you're around someone. Trust me, I know what codependency is and what feeling whole means. I used to confuse the two. But with my Heartmate, I fully understand the difference now. I used to be unable to cope with him leaving me - for five minutes. I would cry my eyes out when he had to go back home. THAT is codependency. Now, years later, finally getting back together, maturing and being away from my Heartmate after our breakup, I am able to watch him go home and be without him and not freak out. I have clarity knowing that I can do my thing and he can do his. But when we are together, the stars align and all is well. It helps that he calls me almost daily and it's as if he never left.
@@Discordia5 That isn't the case... the concept of feeling whole doesn't always involve codependency. As I said to them, codependency is when you're emotionally distraught without your partner. But having your other half means you are content with or without them. Your other half is meant to enrich your life, not to enslave you. Codependency is when you feel trapped because you're always relying on someone else for happiness. Codependent folks cannot feel happiness without someone else. But when you have a Heartmate (my term for Twin Flame), you are able to have a life without necessarily requiring the other person 100% of the time. You can have your own dreams, goals, hobbies, etc. Having a Heartmate just makes those things better.

Twin Flames don’t complete you, per se, but they trigger you to deal with all the shadow aspects of yourself (traumas, repressed things that you don’t want to face in yourself, bad habits of “karmic cycles,” etc.). This process, if you make it through to the other side, causes you to mature and ascend spiritually to realize you’re _already_ complete, with or without your person. That ability to release expectation of being with them, the spirit of detachment, is key for actually successfully getting with them (if that is both twins’ choices… we all have free will, after all).

I think she found me. We had just met for what I thought originally was the first time but we both couldn't shake the most intense feeling that we knew each other and were reading each other extremely accurately. She made me feel the most real and alive that I have in my life to be around, and she felt the most real to me to the point that being in each other's arms dissolved time before our embrace and everything felt final with her and surprisingly it was a peaceful feeling.

Its not timing, in order to get into union with your twinflame you need to work on yourself and heal, remember your twin is your reflection and you're his... So if youre unbalanced and unhealed theres no way union will take place, focuse on yourself, work through your trauma heal and become who you need to be in this life time your twin will show up when timing is right.

This video is pretty good as a general overview on the topic of twin flames. I would cautious, however, promoting the idea someone else is needed to "complete you". This concept says at the same time "I am not complete". It is only when we love ourselves, recognize ourselves as eternal divine beings with an internal sense of WHOLENESS, that we are actually able to keep our twin flame in our life or make ourselves ready for the twin flame reunion if we're in the separation phase. If you emit a signal of incompleteness, you are sending a signal of resistance to your twin and the twin flame reunion can not happen until you feel complete and "enough" without your twin (ironically). it's Karen, 100%! everyone does not have a twin flame, and if they do the likihood they both re-incarnated at the same time is rare. You will know it and immediately feel as if you were brought together for a Devine mission greater than yourselves. BUT, it only works if both souls are complete in their own right as you say, no-one completes you--you need to be complete to make it work. My TF and I have been together 29 years.
There's nothing wrong with feeling like someone completes you and makes you whole. I had that experience and it was wonderful. Sadly though, the person I knew was forced to move away

Litten Fire Well, the word "wrong" might be a bit strong, but it's impossible to have a sense of wholeness and completeness if you' believe you're not complete without your twin and your twin is not in your life. Now, your completeness revolves around something outside of you that may not be meant to be in union for the rest of your life. I felt complete after I met my twin, but when we were no longer together, it was my inner sense of completeness that allowed me to find another fulfilling love. I would not have been able to meet and keep the current fulfilling relationship that I current have if I had an internal sense of incompleteness. I married my twin flame. We first met when I was 14 and he was 16. 20 years later our paths come together reuniting us again. 2 years later we are finally married. It hurts so much and the headaches can last years, imagine thinking about that person every day even if they are in the back of your mind especially if they betrayed you thinking that what y’all had was love. Wish I didn’t have emotions and feelings but when you lose someone you cared about because they cheat and lied to you, it feels like they have died but the betrayal is what hurts the most, hope you never go through that mental pain and heart ache.

I've met my twin flame years ago online. We did split up while we were young and dumb, but that was definitely for the better. Years later, we came back into contact through our SO's at the time but never did we have regret or have hard feelings about it. Turns out, we were both going through the same bullshit of lies, cheating and overall emotional abuse. Eventually we both ended up getting rid of them over time, hers a lot sooner than mine. We talked about it since we were still good friends and sympathized for each other. I couldn't help but feel myself reconnect with her all over again since we understood each other so well. I told her how I still loved her and apologized for not being there when she needed me most. She felt the same way and happily obliged to take me back into her life as her life partner and have been inseparable ever since now that we've grown up and realized what we have. It was with “not my type” guy. But we instantly became incredibly close. Our connection felt so strange, as if you would be represented in two bodies, living two different lives, having different childhood traumas, different nationality and personality, but somehow just having one shared consciousness. It was the most strange experience, I felt like finally I’m not the lonely unique soul walking the earth. There is two of us. He felt the same, we discussed it exited so many times, newer getting use to it! Somehow he helped me to finally see myself through my own eyes. And I helped him work through a lot of his fears. Yes. Twinflames are toxic because you both have toxic traits. That's why twin flames separate to heal and change then come back together. Each separation is change, even if the separation is as long a lifetime.
You have to or it’ll never have a chance to develop into union (if it’s meant for this lifetime). I understand the intense connection, but put that energy back towards yourself. Heal yourself and you’ll realize you don’t need them to be happy or have a good life, then the chance of union is way higher. If this is your true twin they feel your need for them and it will keep them away from you. The balance of energy is a huge factor in this connection. One thing not really mentioned or glossed over is that the Twin Flame journey before union is TOUGH. Like it's said in the video, ROLLERCOASTERS of emotions. The beginning is painful. It's one soul split into two people with different minds. The Devine Feminine is the one who first notices the signs and the Devine Masculine is the unaware one until triggered by the DF. The DF goes crazy with obsessive thinking and thoughts about their DM trying to figure out how to make them see that you're meant to be. ALSO ... Reincarnation. TF's are reincarnations from past lives, so although your life with your present day TF might be similar but not exactly the same, it will be the same in your past lives. I struggled to figure that part out and thought my TF was just a soulmate because our lives were similar but not EXACTLY the same in present day. DF and DM has no gender rolls either. A DM can be a girl and a DF can be the guy. Those are just energy terms for who is the chaser and who is the runner. The chaser is the DF who is aware of the TF journey at first and the DM is the one who is confused and runs. I had dreams of my TF before actually meeting him. It was a dream of his silhouette. I met him accidently at a job my friend used to work at. He was just walking by and waved and I didn't think much about it. A few years later when my friend got a new job, I began to work there and he was my supervisor. And thus my journey continued. i don't think it's possible for anyone not in a relationship with a twin flame to /truly/ comprehend what that kind of relationship is like. i've been with mine for a year now but i'm not kidding when i say we have been through hell because of each other, and yet i can't see myself being without her for even one day. when we're apart, it's the most painful thing, and i've shed more tears in one year with her than i ever did in my entire 26 years of existence. but it's precisely because of that, that i can't let her go. she's the only person that's ever seen ALL of my insecurities and still loved and accepted me for who i am. she's the *only* person on earth who knows the real me. we're both very independent, but i feel like if i lost her, i'd be losing a huge part of myself. i've felt love in past relationships, but this one is truly a love like no other. it's just not something that can be explained in words, and it's absolutely no fairytale even though it feels like it at times. it's the most deep and intense, real and raw kind of romantic love a person is even capable of feeling. and in my life, i never imagined such a love existed or was even possible until i met her

Factual. I would choose my person all-over again even with the pain. The same love you have for them is the same if not more, love they have for you. They can see your soul without expressing it. It's comforting
Yado Bear totally! My best friend is undoubtably my twin flame. I’ve known her my entire life, our moms were close in college. We have been inseparable throughout our entire childhoods until when we were about 9 she moved to Maine with her family. Being in Massachusetts (and 9) this was really really hard but also super easy. It sucked having to live away from her but our relationship and our connection never faltered. We used to talk on the phone everyday and play computer games together all the time. I remember using those cord phones and when our parents eventually told us we had to go to bed we would set alarms to like 1am so we could keep talking while they were asleep. We always said that we were the same person and that when God made us he took one soul and split it in half and put it in 2 babies. This was stuff we would say at like 11. We always said there was no best friend pair out there like us and to this day I stand by that as I have yet to meet a pair of best friends that have what we have, aside from pairs in movies or books. We have that Fred and George Weasley thing going on. Our entire lives our journeys have been very similar to each other and she has been really helpful in helping me grow and learn. And I know I have been to her to. Everyone I knew, knew her since I would either talk about her so much or I would inevitably introduce them. Last year I moved to LA for school and I know that was really hard on her but we have managed to keep in touch. Unfortunately as I started meeting new people and figuring myself out I began to distance myself from her. For some reason I assumed she wouldn’t want to be as close with the new me. (I’ve been separating myself from Christianity now as part of my own journey and for awhile that was a big thing that held us together.) I also have just been distancing myself from everyone in my past for awhile for personal reasons and I’m afraid that spilled over to her. I still feel really bad about treating her like that bc after 18 years I should’ve known that she would still be my best friend. But I LEARNED that from this experience. That that’s one of the big points of twin flames is you LEARN from them. The other night her and I had a long talk that she started to tell me she wants to take a step back from her faith as well. All this time and I come to find out that we have been on the exact same page without even talking about it. We have been having the same thoughts and fears and struggles and didn’t even know. But I guess we should have known because that’s how it’s always been, we go through every life stage together. But I guess this felt bigger than an obsession with my chemical romance lol. Of course I am a little further along on the journey than her, I think moving out to LA helped that a lot. She’s still at home with her parents so it’s harder. But no matter what we are going to be there for each other. Even if we land on separate endings we will understand and love each other no matter what. I have been struggling a lot with what I believe in spiritually, and I think I always have been, but when I think back to my life the only things that I felt that was truly REAL is the connection we have and the love that connects to two of us. It is truly beyond this world. I have so much love in my heart for this girl that deadass if I never get married I’ll be okay because I’ll have her. (Of course I would LIKE to get married). But she is undeniably my twin flame and honestly my soulmate too. No one understands me the way she does. No one else has so much in common with me while also having so many perfect differences than her. (Ex. My coffee order: large iced reg cream and sugar with extra extra hazelnut swirl, her coffee order: a small black hot coffee. So if that doesn’t say anything ab us and our personalities haha) I love her so much and I’m so blessed to have her in my life, bc the fact is not everyone has this.
