She's actually very talented. Her label is in complete control of the songs she's written, and they'll make her scrap them or refuse to allow her to put them on her own album. It's unfortunate she signed such an awful contract. I hope once this contract expires we'll get to hear more of her own ideas.
She recently filed a lawsuit against the head of her record label. She'll probably be out of the contract sometime next year. If it ends up going to trial though, that's not until 2016. Hopefully they'll reach a settlement before then.

Kesha did not write that song,SNSD did. The only thing that Kesha did was sing the DEMO VERSION!!! SM asked her to sing it so that they could figure out what to sing in English and what to sing in Korean. Castana Wrong. RDR was written by Kesha and she sang it as a demo and later sold it to Girls Generation, who also have their own version of Kesha's song Chain Reaction on their new album, the one who Kesha wrote as well. I'm not sure if it was them though, could be another group.

I absolutely love Kesha. Her whole creation is just genius she's the most interesting pop singer I've seen in the past few years! her style of music is different, her image is unique and her attitude towards life and how she presents herself is awesome. Despite all the comments, Run devil run was NOT written by ke$ha, she actually sung a demo for a kpop girl band, Girls Generation. Kpop is very westernised and use allot of English so they needed an English example.

Well, Ke$ha is an artist, and I don't just mean it as a career. The woman is creative in general and I do respect her creativity. Art comes in many forms after all and, hate it or love it, you honestly cannot deny when someone steps out of the average and makes things, be it music, writing, visual art, etc. that stand out from the norm.

The song "Untouchable" was originally by Luna Halo, but Taylor took that and made it her own. Most people only know about her so they assume her version came first- not the case.

On last nights Grammy show & now in print & anywhere else we dont need to be constantly reminded of, Little Big Town performed their hit single "Better Man" written by of course - Taylor Swift. And the shows host of course had to tell us Taylor wrote it. Since she wasn't on or at the show that wasn't stopping her from getting her name mentioned.
It wouldn't surprise me if Little Big Town can't perform Better Man unless it's announced that Taylor Swift wrote it. Kesha has written a lot of dance music & has shown with Praying she's growing as an artist.
I've actually known that Kesha is a VERY talented singer/songwriter for awhile now. I remember hearing that she wrote 'Till the world ends' for Britney back when it was released. Plus if you look at any of her albums in the credits she is listed as writer in like every song on all 3 of her albums. People think because she made 'party' type music that she isn't smart or talented but it's actually quite the opposite lol, I read she has a very high IQ also. I'm just glad she is finally getting some recognition for her hard work in the music industry! :-)

She went to rehab for a eating disorder and now has filed a lawsuit against her producer for rape allegations so this year has not really been the best year for her but she is making new music which is going to be so good. Kesha's so talented
