I’m only 13 but my dream is to play professional volleyball for a living and this video is a great guide on how to do it. Thanks so much for creating such amazing detailed content about volleyball you have helped me improve so much and i hope that with the help of your momentous videos I’ll be able to live out my dreams. I hope this channel will thrive and you will be successful in all you do
I’m 15 years old and I’m going to try my best to go pro, gosh do I love the sport. I’m 6’6 and currently invested in basketball but I think next year I will try my luck at competitive volleyball outside of school. Thanks for the vid!
@@miiyro Pretty good! We are fifth in my province and Im looking to make the provincial team. Im 6'8 now so Im obviously a middle blocker and I am really liking it. Going to start reaching out for scholarships soon and we will see how it goes.
I'm 15 and I'm 6'4 I not only lov volleyball but also love training I love when it gets hard because it means I'm improving, as well as training smart so that I'm a all around good player, I do play for a club in England however I'm still confused on how to become a pro like under a contract and make money when I'm older from the sport.
Lucky you i have been playing for 5 years and am 16 but i cant seem to get professional, because im 5,8 but still I train to jump higher every day. Maybe i grow a little and learn to fly to make it to a professional Team
@@lewi895 hey dude, update so iv been travelling around my country between different schools and volleyball clubs with lots of different skill level, intercity, coaches, players, balls iv really learnt a lot the coaches said if I kept playing with them in 2 years I can go play for the national team as a 17/18 year old which is crazy, I recommend you try finding the best schools in your country and if they have a volleyball club if you can join it, either for a short or long period because they could have more connections to a higher tier of volleyball, not only that but exposing yourself with multiple communities of volleyball you can be more diverse and grow, your still 16 you have till 21 which is 5 years, even if you only grow an inch a year you'll be 6'1 which is good for setter and ok for wingspiker, along as you have a huge vert like 30+ inch your gonna be off the charts and ahead of the game
hi I am 6'0ft and I am 13 I play on my school's volleyball team and one day I will be a pro Volleyball player I'm left-handed I've been improving very quickly
I’m 13 and 5’3 but I’m a amazing volleyball player and my coach said she’s putting me on the team no matter what because even she struggles sometime recieving my serve. I want to go pro one day and I have made great great progress over the past 4 months I have been practicing. I play 7 hours of volleyball a day to practice and I have been growing extremely fast skill wise. Wish me luck!
I’m 13 and in my 4th year of club. I’m 5’8 and estimated to be 6ft (female). My family is made up of lawyers, doctors, and business workers. They actually slightly discourage volleyball bc crew (another sport I play) is better for college. I also play beach volleyball. I love volleyball. I’ve been bullied by teammates, had awful coaches, injury, REC (sport caused ED, and loss and rebuilding of my mentality. Despite what volleyball has put me through I love the sport and I never want to stop playing and working to be amazing. As it is I’m going into freshmen year and I’m ranked top 10 in my school. Im a setter/right side, and I’ve been to indoor nationals twice. I hope that when I build the courage to tell me family my hopes they will support me. Volleyball gave me distraction from my life when I needed it and joy nothing else matches and no matter what I want to play for the rest of my life.
If you love volleyball show it to your parents. They should support you. Also in US you can have very volleyball life on high school and college. And if there are tough days watch my volleyball motivational video😉
Im 15 and have been playing for a little over half a year. With almost no training time I mad my schools varsity team as a starter and have seen rapid improvement. I joined a state tournament and placed 1st. I play Libero and am only 5’5 inches tall. Is going pro as a libero seem possible for me?
I'm 24 years old now ... My love for volleyball is as fresh as it is I used to play energetically and actively in my teen but due to my health issues I have not been able to play and my skills have been decrease to the lowest level . But still then I wanted to start again from the beginning ... Am I too late ? Or how do I start to improve faster ? Volleyball is my love , my life anthem . Need your valuable advice 🙏
If you love volleyball it is never too late to start or restart. I know player which had started at 25 years and he made it to national team. Sure, there is a long way and millions of ball touches in front of you. But again, if you love volleyball, there is nothing to stop you👍
Bit late to the party here. 17 going on 18. Found volleyball in May of 2021. But I'm working hard. I'm going to go there. You'll see me around on volleyball channels sometime everyone. I'll give it everything I've got.
I like the way you present video ... I'm stucked in my academics have to complete my degree education but I'm always passionate for volleyball played a lot during school time and even till recent ... But now I don't have time to manage both higher studies + volleyball training together ... The government volleyball centers sucks here in government first of all they're very few and secondly they are too old fashioned ... Everyday they ask us to run 8 km as we are going for atheletics crazy af So now I just practice my self in wall for one hour daily ... And waiting for completing my education I'm 21 year old as of now ...
@@VolleyCountrycom thanks for reply ... Can you make a video about yourself like from which country you played Timeline of your career in volleyball and overall experience with this sport
Serious question, but would I have to go to college to play pro volleyball? Or could i just join a junior club, then a regular club, and then go pro and join a pro club?
Well, that´s not easy to answer 😀 It depends on quality of training process. If you want to become pro player, you need hundreds of trainings under good coaches, later with good teammates. You should also play good competition. If college can provide it, OK. If your second way can fulfill it, also OK.
is it possible to become pro if i start playing at 16? im starting to watch a lot of volleyball and it really made me fond of the sport and i want to play myself, is it possible and where do i start at this age?
hi! I'm from Europe and I don't have a chance to go to play in college in the USA. is there a way to study in the university and play proffessionally in Europe, at the same time? thank you for your video!
You can play professionaly and study individually in many European leagues. It is not connected with playing for university, but with club. Try it in your country👍
Reading all these comments with tall young ppl 😭😭 im 14 and currently 5,4... I am in myanmar 🇲🇲 a country that is facing a political issue at the moment and it is very VERY hard to play any sport competitvely here. Ive always dreamed of competing in the olympics but im confused about all this country stuff in myanmar. :(( this seems super stupid but im planning to move after my O levels, (yes its late, but in myanmar, only AFTER O levels you can escape) is it OK if I can play vball competitivly over there? Also if anyone has info4mation about playing competitvely/olympics please please 🙏 let me know!! None of my family members support my dream but my younger self would be devastated if I dont end up in the olympics... 😅😅
Is 18 too late to try getting back into volleyball or try going pro i had to leave the sport when i was 12 cause of circumstances i started playing at 8 years old
It´s not too late, I know players which started when they were 20 and still became great pro players. I myself started with volleyball when I was 15. Go for it 👍

I am 14 and my height is between 1.65 - 1.69 so i am not that tall. I don't know but have you guys ever heard of an anime called haikyuu? yea i started playing volleyball because of that show tha main charachter is short but he can jump very high (3.34m) and i can jump very high for my height (3.10) i've never had a dream job a teacher , racer never something like that. But now i have one i really wanna be a volleyball player but because of my country i probably can't. Because my country doesn't have that much interest in volleyball. I'm 14 now i become a 10th grade im in the school team. I don't know what to say these are just useless dreams for me, but someday in future i hope i will become a very good volleyball player. (i am a spiker btw)
I'm 17 and I'm 5'10?or11 It's my dream becoming one of the player in our national team 🇵🇭 I haven't ever play even in small league , I training everyday i played volleyball in our home for more than a years since i was 6 , i regret not joining to school clubs because ihave Social anxiety disorder and my kneecap sometimes subluxed , BUT NOW ! I'M CONFIDENTLY TO SAY I'LL JOIN NEXT TIME IF I HAVE OPPORTUNITY i hope this virus ends
@@VolleyCountrycom whoa really? sometimes it scares me that I may have started too late (15, a year ago now). tho I'm tall for my age and I think if I train harder I can improve fast, people have told me that If I wanted to play on a higher level I must have played since I was a kid, which made me angry af since I'm in love with the sport and I really believe I can do it as long as I don't give up. however, it is true that until now I barely did any sport and I admit that, right now, my team isn't the best since they are new too. also studies had taken a lot of time of me since I started college and I can't even practice with their team because I'm underage. unconsciously I have become way less determined to achieve my real goal, but seeing that you started at my age gave me hope ^^
