4-6 weeks is plenty assuming you already have your recommender, know your career goal, and have your GMAT done

Applying to only 3 Business Schools is one thing I disagree with. You run the risk of getting into none. One should apply to at least 5, even though the applications are very expensive (they pale in comparison to the actual cost of attending school).

I have friends with MBA's from my church and a pastor almost admitted to the London School of Economics ...he and his wife are VP's at Morgan Stanley from top notch undergraduate schools in Economics and Finance. You make of what your education is with grace,luck, and Yes,politics.They have both travelled abroad to India and more several times. I'll work for the gov't and start a small start up company as I learned from my alma mater NYU TANDON SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING i2e Program as I did in Technical Writing and Publishing. Armory Paratus

Do you have any insight on how the admissions committee views an applicant's score on the "Integrated Reasoning" section of the GMAT? The significance of that section is a complete mystery!

Can I ask you a question Im currently a grad student in an MHA program at a small school and Im basically 2 classes away from graduating (taking one of the two right now) would that hurt my chances of going to an MBA program at a bigger better school. I don't know for sure if im going to do this im just considering it (Because i can't find a job) and my goal is to be a manager in a hospital in some capacity one day. If you can respond thanks if not thats cool too.

No, here in Europe you can do your Master of Science for free, which is something else than the MBA (although it is a 2-year-postgraduate programe, too). The MSc focuses more on Science which is usually a necessary step for your PhD, while the MBA is more about general management and leadership topics. However, the MBA is not yet very common in Europe and offered by very few institutions (all subject to a charge), that's why I would always favour an American Ivy League MBA

Sir does high school grades are also consider during MBA selection process at top business schools like Harvard, Wharton or colombia or they just consider undergrad GPA.
