1:10 the shure sm7b doesn't require phantom power, it require only if you use a cloudlifter. Also, I think the RC-505 MK2 already provide enough gain for the microphone as well so, yeah!
Thanks for showing it! But with the always same "noise" (loop?) it is hard to follow you. Here we are talking about an audio device, so it would be better to let what is shown then also become audible in each case, instead of an exhausting noise loop.

I am so grateful for this video.i find myself coming back to it. It is really fun using with the new update, and using the software until my dumbass accidentally changed some setting, the left mic only came out of the left channel and right mic jack came out of the right channel, like they were split up somehow, had to go through the whole loop stations menu then i finally gave up and factory restored it and lost all my beats. 😂😂😂. It takes so much time learning the ins and outs, i feel it is a completely different device then the mark 1. It should have been called something else. It can be be really intermediating to learn, most of our mistakes are probably user error. There are endless possibilities with this device.

I'm trying to use this device as the "heart" of my setup, but unfortunately it seems to have a Poor Sound quality. Do you know some kind of device or config that can help with this poor sound quality? I'm thinking about to put a Direct Box on the main output to return to Mixer, any thoghts about it?

I just got mine.. trying to help without a channel lol.. Make sure your input matches your output If you have effect settings you like just save a blank "track" to memory

I don't have a pedal like this so I can't be 100% sure about what I'm gonna say but try this : Menu > CTL FUNC > CTL/EXP > and here you can choose for example what ctl 1 and 2 will do

Thank you, DgyMie for takiing the time to put together these instructonal videos. The Boss user guides are very remedial. On the RC-505 mkII, I'm using a Nektar Pacer MIDI pedal to manage the basic looper functions remotely by using some of the 16 Assign options available mapping the MIDI CCs. However, that seems to work for the current selected memory only. When I move to a new memory, I have to do that programming all over again. Do you know how to make that setting global? Thank you.
@@94089463 Im no expert... but what I do is save a preset on the MKII that is labeled Nektar preset which has all my MIDI CC's and preferred MKII settings. Thats what I start with for every new session then you can save it as a new project on a new memory number and name it accordingly. Then every new project is saved and programed with the MIDI CC's and any other tweaks you change while the original preset remains unchanged to use when you start a new project.

Please help me, It`s happening a bug with my Input FX when I try to rec it... On the mic the FX works but when I reccord it only rec the original sound without any Input FX, what could it be? thank you for your help
@@DgyMie me neighter... I saw your other video and try every config but it seems not to work properly. The most curious part is that if I chance the main preset to another factory memory it return to work.. then I need to config all The FX again.
I just got the new loop, and this video has helped me immensely. I have a question tho: how do you make the main output mono? One of the main outputs says L/mono but I can't figure out how to make it mono. Thanks in advance!
Hey Jimmy! Love your videos on the MKII. I'm having trouble syncing when I play live. Any advice? I could sure use some help. BTW, I'm not talking about MIDI Sync or maybe that's what I need to do. What about a foot pedal to stop recording the loop at a better spot. Thanks!!!
Greetings, I have a big problem, I am a beatboxer and what I don't understand is how to change the configuration so that when I record a loop on the second or third channel when I press play, it starts from the beginning and doesn't cut it into play fragments that belong to the loop, but rather like a sampler that when you press play at the beginning of the loop and not that it is putting the fragment where it left off in the last play, this is very frustrating because it does not let me create the composition as I want, maybe I Help, greetings from Honduras.
