If you don't want to smile, choose to be a villain! Maleficent has a scowl on her face the entire time and says things like "You're not welcome" to guests who tell her "Thank you" XD
Once my school went to Disney and a group of kids went to see Kylo Ren. He had to act really rude and cold, so if you don't like people, try out as a villain 😄
Hi there! I used to work for the mouse, I got to get all the characters ready for their days in the Kingdom! Pointing out the Incorrect: Tiana’s height also starts at 5’4 like some of the other girls; The largest size Disney carries is between a 12-14, depending on the princess/gown; They don’t *fire* you once you’re too old/no longer look the part of a princess; either they will give you another role at the park (as per your discretion) or they’ll give you another character to be friends with. There are plenty of other characters that are older- Fairy Godmother, Lady Tremaine, and pretty much all fur characters as long as you’re of the right height and possess the energy. Additionally, YES all face characters are trained to be fur characters but rarely do princesses get to be the common fur characters, because their height is often between 5’4-5’7, and many of the fur characters are way shorter or way taller. They’re between-size gals. If a performer needs more than 5 days of training to completely master their character, they are absolutely given that because Disney prioritizes “Good Show”. Disney doesn’t make these height/weight/age/specific-look rules to be mean or discriminatory. As per good-show, they just want their characters to be as true to the movies and books as possible. It’s never anything personal against anyone’s body-type or face.
I'm glad you pointed these out. A lot of people like to rag on Disney, and make them seem worse than they are. I mean yes, they are a business, but still. Like with the not hiring women over a certain weight for the princesses. You're hiring someone to imitate a character. You wouldn't cast Danny DeVito as Superman, for example.
I've seen really pretty girls who look like princesses not get chosen because they just don't look like the other princess actresses, which makes sense. If a little girl sees cinderella twice but she looks different the second time, she could realize it's fake.
I'm glad you actually made this comment. I'm actually a disney Fan and yet I still have enough faith in the world to believe people aren't mean for free. I believe people are good but then tend to show only everything that's bad in others. I believe in what's good. Have a good day, even though it's been 7 months since you posted.
What if your about 26-27 but you look pretty young still, people still think i'm anywhere between 16-18 years old. I thought about something like this for years, but never actually been to Disney world myself, its always been way to far from where I live. I thought about doing the Disney college program some day.
Always amazed at how professional they are. Did a character lunch with our daughter and even I was star-struck. Total rock stars. Gracious, beautiful and charming. Daughter was in heaven. Worth every cent.
chapachuu as much as you are right, but theirs are people looking almost exactly like their childhood fantasy’s, and probably their top secret search browser history, meaning theirs girls would have man maybe even full grown man hitting making sexual Gestures etc etc at a higher level then your average store clerk
Jasmine Surreal I didn’t say they were I said age limit and weight isn’t a weird thing It still would be weird to have a 50 year old overweight woman playing jasmine Does that mean I think that all of them are overweight and old looking ? No I don’t But just like with certain things there are age and weight limits and there is nothing weird about itb
@@cinnamoncat7763 Well most people who meet me think I'm about 28 to 30. Just depends on your opinions. I have no lines on my face at all and have a roundish face so I suppose that keeps me young. Mind you you see teens with lines! Although most negative comments I get are from women!
I worked in the entertainment department at Disney World, and can honestly say so many of these things are completely wrong. The height and size requirements and the winter costumes for starters. Snow White has a different size requirement and has the largest dress size out of all the princesses. Her costume can go larger than a size 10. Also, the princesses wouldn't play Minnie Mouse. Her height max is smaller than the princesses. A common fur character for them to play is Pluto. All of the princesses do in fact have winter clothes. This correlates with the Disney animated series and sequels which show them having cold weather clothing.
as a 12 year old, this is a dream job because I was always obsessed with disney, whats the age limit? I started doing research and I haven't found anything helpful so I want to see if I can get information from someone who had experience
shingshongshamalama Yes, I'm sure 5-10 year old girls are fetishizing these characters. This is for the youngsters who visit the park and Disney wants it to be as real as an experience it can possibly be.
What you mean “discriminates” against people of a certain size. Disney Princesses are literally skinny. It ain’t discrimination to not let a fat girl be a disney princess actor, as her body literally doesn’t fit the role.
yeah ur right, maybe they should make different sized princesses and characters in their movies and then they can add actresses/actors who fit those roles' sizes better
One time we were going to the park and the young girl at security who looked and talked EXACTLY like Anna. We talked to her and she said it was her dream to become Anna and that she hoped she might catch someone’s attention while working at the security. I really hope that she ended up getting the role, she was so dedicated and nice.
Have you never been to a Disney park when it’s cold?? They do provide face characters with warmer costumes. They all receive some sort of long sleeve shirt or cloak...
Margaret Francis During winter, I’ve seen Ariel in a long sleeved skintoned suit (I assume is like a uniqlo heat tech technology) with her purple shell bikini over it.
"The princesses have to keep a smile on their face when dealing with pervs" There are cast members who follow all characters to make sure nothing serious happens. If a princess is confronted with a perv, that that cast member escorts them out immediately.
My mom knows someone who worked at Disney as either Chip or Dale, I don't remember which. She told my mom about a time some college kids started harassing her, even going as far as touching her chest to see if if it was a man or woman under the costume. She tried to get away, but apparently those costumes are hard to move in and she ended up tripping and falling over, and apparently it's nearly impossible to stand up while wearing those costumes. Thankfully park officials came and intervened.
That's so sad. Also not only to her, but imagine children who are fans of the character, they must be so mad at those people who were hurting /harassing their favorite "characters"
What's so strange about requiring the girl to look like the princess? Wouldn't the kids wonder why the princess is taller, older, or fatter than they recall? Movie studios, Broadway, or any entertainment endeavor all have requirements. Sure it's discrimination, but not in its worst racial sense. It's presentation. The narrator sounds as if narrating is too hard. She needs a 11m 42sec break beforehand.
I remember when I was younger, I questioned why Ariel's bangs weren't as big as in the movie and stick out all the way and why mickey, minnie, etc were so big XD.
to some people in the comment section. 1: quit pulling the race card. not all Disney princesses are white. jasmine, tiana, moana, and pocahontas aren't white. obviously you're letting "white privilege" speak before thinking that maybe you'll look like an idiot. 2: this is not cosplay. this is a job. all jobs have a certain requirement before you can have a job. according to dunkin donuts, you have to be very friendly and outgoing if you want to work there and act politely to customers who are being rude. this is a business, not a hobby. they want them to look like the princess so that even the adults can tell the type of quality Disney has is top notch. 3: stop pulling the gender/sex card. no a man cannot be a Disney princess. it ties in with the quality thing I brought up in the 2nd point. jasmine is a young woman, not a 23 yr old man. I know it sounds harsh and tumblr will get on my case but it's a business. not a hobby. 4: the weight card? really? appearance plays a huge part and it's clearly stated that you have to look like the other actresses to get the job. it looks a bit strange to see a super skinny Elsa and then come back to see she's curvy. IT'S A BUSINESS NOT A HOBBY. if you're really that concerned about it, dress up and walk around your house or con as the princess. you won't get paid unless you enter into and contest and win but you won't be fired or rejected for being too tall or too wide.
Why is any of this a big deal? I used to be a professional dancer, and height, weight, and age are relevant. You are part of the art, and image and talent are everything in performing arts - especially those where the character you are performing is of a predetermined look. One of the reasons for Disney's success with "face" characters is their quality-control.
True Grit because it once again reiterates the idea that a woman must be a certain heigh, weight, age and, even though they don't say it color, in order to be a "princess". In order to be valued you have to fit these credentials. Why is that a big deal? Well women deserve better, humanity deserves better.
keeshie KEESH dude, it's literally a costume contest. If you don't look like the costume, you don't get the part (that means TOO thin and TOO light also). Simple as that. No, "oh, but my feelings" about it.
5:53 ALL the princesses have cold weather outfits. Pocahontas and Jasmine included. So not true 6:15 yeah you can. I'm super good friends with X! Is usually what people say. 6:39 well if a guest asks about social media you have to respond. But you wouldn't go around starting a convo about twitter if you were friends of Snow White. These are some of the errors of this video, I got to tired to respond to all of them
AdaylnTheLifeOf Yup, the daughter of a good friend of mine is a Disney Princess. She’s constantly posting pictures of her in costume at Disney. They also post photos all the time with her and her family and friends while she’s posing in costume. I just posted a little rant about people complaining about “working” in the weather when they’re literally just walking around for 30-45 minutes before getting a 15-30 minute break; so I won’t get into it again. (But it’s annoying!) 🙄
Pocahontas and Jasmine have the SMALLEST OUTFITS. the rest have something that can cover their legs but Pocahontas' dress is quite small and Jasmines top does not cover her full torso. She means they can get colder quicker than the rest
It's a culture thing. There are some cultures in the world where it is considered highly insulting to point with one finger. That's why the Disney point exists.
to me the worst part wuld be the smile all the time thing. Can't do it! Just can't! And to keep being cheery even when creeps come up and harass you? Gawd that sounds terrible too.
1:26 "Disney actually discriminates *against* ladies of a certain size." dis·crim·i·nate dəˈskriməˌnāt 1 recognize a distinction; differentiate. 2 make an unjust or prejudicial distinction in the treatment of different categories of people or things, especially on the grounds of race, sex, or age. They appear to be using category 2 here. __________ Job requirement: business. a quality or qualification that you must have in order to be suitable for a certain job. Communication skills are a job requirement in public relations. These princesses look a certain way. Having weight requirements is common sense. It has absolutely *nothing* to do with the national average, so don't pretend that factor means anything.
Yeah, actually size 8 sometimes IS a plus sized model. Most agencies are looking for size zero to 2. Also, I've seen plenty of obese football players, just not quarterbacks. I'm not disagreeing with your assessment of Disney's standards for the Princess job, I'm just pointing out that your comparisons could be a bit more accurate. The dentist comparison is SPOT on.
All Disney princesses/princes have special winter wear outfits inspired by their usual costumes, so in fact YES, animal-loving Pocahontas has a fur-lined animal skin coat when it's cold. Also, "princesses stay away from things like coffee"...LOL That's the falsest/funniest thing I've EVER heard.
The natives wore animal skins. THAT'S THE ONLY TYPE OF CLOTHING THEY HAD! Besides, what do they think her normal outfit is made out of? So true ActualDavyJones!
"You're", not "your". Plus, you're a shitty parent if you lie to your kids and allow them to believe these people are the real deal and not actresses. Children can have great imaginations and childhoods without being allowed to believe something from the movies, especially animated ones, is real when it isn't.
EnglishatHeart Obviously you don't have kids because if you tell them that Cinderella isn't really Cinderella, then that is more detrimental to a kids psyche than a little lie at the expense of your moral compass. you think about what would make them happier and less confused. what's better "look kids there's the princess you have been dreaming about meeting!" or " look kids I know it looks like Cinderella but it's not! it's just some weirdo in a dress, let's go take a picture!"
my friend's older sister went to a disney audition, they were looking for another Belle. It ended up a 'tie' between 2 people (they couldn't choose), but she ended up being picked because she was fluent in French. Literally how well you could speak French was the tie breaker.
Most of them will say they're "friends with" their character or they "hang with" them. I know a girl who's friends with Sally from NBC and possibly Elsa and another who was besties with Anna, Cinderella, and Merida,
I'm actually a little surprised that they don't require their Mulan actresses to learn a few simple phrases in Mandrin. Or even give priority to actresses who speak their character's language fluently. I actually went to Disney for a choir trip, we got to see the behind the scenes. They gave us the option to do a workshop, and we were all very curious about the audition process for characters...... That shit grueling work. Memorize a dance number, a song, do improv. I think one of the mock interviewers told me I'd make a good Snow White, which made me laugh. She's my least favorite princess.
I'd be nice to give priority to actresses who speak their face characters language fluently but the downside is if only one Belle speaks French, and you take your French speaking little cousin, and the Belle that's there doesn't speak French, how much of a let down will that be?
I saw Alladin last week and he was a white guy made up with a brown face. My daughter and I were quite shocked and she was even the one that pointed it out.
But Disney princess speak English in all the films, the original films that is. And Disney World is in America where it’s an English speaking country. So no they shouldn’t have to learn another language, except American Sign Language I agree , because that’s easy to learn and necessary. If someone struggles speaking English then they can hire a translator to go on their trip with them, or just not talk to the princess in depth which no one does anyway. Princesses don’t require talking, they smile.. say hello, and take a picture and sign an autograph, that’s it for the child/princess meeting experience. I do think however it would be a great idea if they learned basic hello, goodbye, how are you, and nice to meet you in every basic language so that they can say that to kids when meeting them. A basic hello in every language would be simple to learn and do! But learning to speak another entire language fluently is a huge deal and only Harvard alumni or Ivey league graduates can do that usually. It would be more easier and more practical for every person visiting America or who is another nationality living in America visiting Disney world , to learn English! That makes more sense. Most country’s require you learn English anyway even if you don’t ever come to America or Britain. Germany requires high school students learn English fluently, and so does every school in Sweden. So any child or young adult from Sweden and Germany will be able to speak English perfectly on demand. That’s how it should be, English is the primary language of the world and people should learn it, the princesses shouldn’t have to learn a million different languages when kids should learn English (just one language extra).
No cast member is aloud to point with one ☝🏻 finger. This stays with you forever. And makes it VERY easy to identify others that have worked for Disney. 😋
Actually there's no maximum age. If you start to age and no longer look like the character then yes they'll pull you, but there are a large number of people who have worked as princesses up to 30 and even older, because they can still believably play a 16 year old cartoon character. That "27 years" thing is bullshit
yeah its not true. I have a friend thats over 30 and still looks like she's 22. She plays Alice in Disneyland. She is also Winnie the Pooh and Pinocchio. Sometimes she plays Dale as well. Many time is a princess cant be a princesses anymore due to aging they don't fire them just move them to another character like cruella or any of the mask characters they play on the side.
Does your work have to sit and talk to hundreds of kids a day, sing songs, do dance routines, and have multiple annoying questions asked that you 70% of the time probably have to make up.
Alice Love Does a Disney princess have to build plumbing systems for 5000 square foot homes, snake drains, and pull anything from tampons to diapers out of people's sewage pumps? Then again Disney princess's don't make 5k a week either.
Alice Love God forbid you have to talk to people while dressed up as a cartoon character for 45 minutes. I know people who will talk for hours if you let them.
... THey don't just talk to them for 45 minutes, they talk to them for more than that, but they get breaks. Also, it depends on how hot it is, so they could also talk for hours at a time and the breaks are only about 20-30 minutes so it's not exactly that long.
It's not unfair that there are such strict restrictions on size and height... those restrictions are in place for practicality with costumes and to keep the magic real to the kids. Kids pick up on things so if they see a slightly chubbier princess, they'll ask questions. People are far too touchy these days and have to find things "unfair" in everything
@Curly-n-Girly I guess it's talent, because it takes to learn all of that, and if chosen aren't they talented at acting ? they need to really animate the character they play even though it's not the character they want
@@vegetablepimps I guess it's talent, because it takes to learn all of that, and if chosen aren't they talented at acting ? they need to really animate the character they play even though it's not the character they want
I one time caught Elsa lying, I asked where Anna was and she said Anna was sick, later I saw Anna and asked the last time she was sick and she said last week.
-They get 15 free passes a year and you can get 3 friend with you -They do take pictures with their costum, their are enough 'princesses' who post insta photos
TansyLove21 you can actually post pictures of yourself inside of the park, just as long as you keep character integrity. my good friend used to play as Anna, and she just made share every comment and caption was addressed to Princess Anna :)
Ian Smith several of my friends are character performers and they actually are allowed to post pictures in costume as long as they say to address comments to that character and not to the performer. Practically every performer does this
I love the "not allowed to say "I don't know" rule. The past three times I went to Disneyworld, my family wanted to test this and we got "I don't know" a lot. Nothing hard, just creative questions.
Holly V I live in Florida and it can get as cold as 30 degrees. It's not often but it does happen. One time during the January and February months it got to the point where you had to wear a heavy coat like up north during winter.
Holly V I live in Ohio. I have seen many days during the winter months where Ohio was many degrees warmer than Orlando Florida. I don't know about Cali. But there is a whole new set of problems out there.
Holly V When I worked at Disneyland it got VERY cold sometimes, especially in the mornings. If winter guests don't bring a coat, they're gonna end up buying one when it gets dark 😂😂😂 Plus it rains like half the YEAR
So it's basically just as bad as retail except you're wearing a weird costume and expected to be super loyal to their employers. So exactly like retail.
Also add that while in the costume you can be standing in extreme hot or cold weather, while maintaining a character, meeting a certain requirement of people you talk to per shift (100’s) and can’t rush them to ensure they have a good experience. Also, in that weather, doing shows dancing and many other things.
99 percent of these aren't very surprising, in fact I assumed they were widely known. Even Hollywood superstars cant just demand any role they want. How they look and act matters way more than what they want so all the requirements are simply part of being an actor. The requirements about privacy are in effect in any building with sensitive information and I myself have signed a couple over my working lifetime. Plus working with children checks and police checks are common in ANY industry that deals directly with the public.
Grace Eleanor I'm tall enough to be Tiana and thats it...but sadly I'm white...maybe they'd let me be one of them if they fudged the height by one inch (I'm 5'8")
Grace Eleanor well I'm sure you'll find a better job and honestly the heat is crazy and so is the cold and all their other conditions do you have to follow and there's better jobs out there
They should have a Vanellope face actress. I bet you'd be perfect for that! If anyone asks why you're so much taller than Vanellope you can explain you're teen Vanellope! 😁 Oooh! Or maybe you can be Alice!!
Lokita Flaka It'd be worth it to me seeing the happiness and joy on little kids faces. I'm not much of a people person, but seeing little kids happy always makes me happy. Just me?
Any girl who can go through all this without having a complete breakdown deserves a medal. I'm almost envious of the amount of raw grit any one of these actresses must have to survive it.
Then shes either an ex-princess, or shes lying. Did you think they stopped monitoring you once you're hired? How else would you expect them to know if you're talking about your job on social media?
In her description does she say something like: "here's a picture of my good friend *insert princess name here* because they aren't allowed to say they play a character but their allowed to say they're are good friends with said Character
Well, there goes my chance of being a Disney princess - too short - scars on my body - allergic to make up - not perfectly white teeth - I love to talk about work
11:22 y'all trippin' you said 27 was the maximum age. The woman playing Snow White was arrested at 19. Which was 13 years earlier. That means that's she's 13 years more than 19. 19+13 equals 32. She's 32 auditioning getting a job. How's that work?
Yeah, this video was FULL of inaccuracies. The 27 rule is just a rumor. An actress can keep her job as a princess as long as she can still look the part. Perhaps most of the princesses get fired around that age because a lot of women start showing their age around their late 20s. But it isn't set in stone that they get fired the moment they turn 27
They mentioned a MAN who was fired. Unless they're casting men as princesses, they weren't talking about someone cast as a princess. That rule applies to ALL employees.
When I went to Disney world, princesses were deffinately older than 27!! A few of them were clearly in their mid 30’s. Anyway, it’s not something yound children realizes.
They never said the employee that was fired was a princess. The age requirements are for princesses only but obviously for other positions they do have people over the age of 27.
“You can’t be over 27” “Someone was arrested at 19 and Disney fired them after hiring them for it even tho it was 13+ years later” ...so she was 32 but got fired for getting arrested at 19?
Yeah. She was supposed to be 14. In the time she's set at, that's the normal age to get married. Woman should also have kids by 16, due to the short life spans.
Never try to get a character to go somewhere or try pulling them away. My little brother did that to Mickey mouse by grabbing his jacket and pulled on it so, Mickey started to pat and tried to wiped my brothers hands off, it was like he never like kids really. Then when my brother let go, Mickey ran for his life.
Jenna Tuinstra usually kids should be monitored not to do that those costume damages can be put on the staff in the costume cause they need to pass it on the next person who will be in the shift after them, plus another thing about kids pulling on a costume it can make the head of the costume topple off accidentally onto the kid and that shit can hurt badly or injure badly or scare the kids off when the head falls off and they see a human in the costume, I recall in the theme park I worked in the poor staff in the costume was being harassed by a kid and we had to get involved and pry the kid away gently and let me tell you boy oh boy some kids were difficult and some were easily swayed into behaving and poor parents and staff running after them I am usually the stern looking angry person in the corner eying the kids when I leave the office for a tour in the park to over look everything.
It makes total sense. You are working for Disney, making kids dreams come true. Congratulations to all those beautiful cast members who work for Disney! Well done.
I just don't get why the costumes have to look so cheesy. It's like, you can definitely give the costumes a little more flavour and authenticity and the kids will still recognise the characters. They don't have to be identical cartoon clones. Also, Mulan's costume could hardly be more incongruous with her character. She looks like the forcibly made-over version of herself she complained about and resented in the movie. I can just imagine the decision-making process on this one: "What about Mulan, dude? She's not that princess-y." "Oooh, big problem. It's okay, we'll give her a princess-y costume even though there was an entire musical number in her movie about how she didn't fit that mold."
This is a silly video. Obviously you have to be in a certain age range, be slim, the right height, and be pretty. I don;t think it takes much talent to wave at people and take pictures with little kids. It's all the perverts they have to put up with...
Still, having improv skills is extremely important and keeping a conversation going can be difficult when asked crazy questions. Totally agree with the perv statement though 🙄
The job is actually pretty difficult. Aside from the pervs, these women have to be able to handle whatever questions people ask them (so they have to know their character inside and out) and they need to have mad improv skills. And they have to memorize dances and routines. And they have to do it all while staying perky every second even if they're tired, frustrated, upset, etc. There's a lot more to it than just smiling and waving.
When I was about 3 my parents took me to Disney and I asked Cinderella why her shoes had straps... TALK ABOUT IMPROV!!! The girl playing her said the Fairy Godmother changed them so they wouldn't fall off and I still remember it to this day
It's 'strange' that one of the requirements for playing a Disney princess is that you LOOK like her? An interesting perspective. Also interesting was your suggestion that Disney is 'discriminating' against plus-sized women. It's not discrimination if you don't hire someone because they can't do the job you're hiring for. It reminds me of how feminists insist women are 'discriminated' against because the physical requirements for being a firefighter are 'biased' toward men, and they actually tried to get the requirements lowered. Um, no. The requirements are 'biased' toward people who have the physical strength to do the job properly and safely. Firefighters need to be able to chop down doors with axes, hold high-pressure hoses, and lift and carry injured/unconscious people out of burning buildings. I'm all for equality. But by that I mean equality, in that anyone can do anything they dream of doing, as long as they CAN ACTUALLY DO IT. I don't mean letting people do jobs they are not truly qualified for, putting people's lives and homes at risk, just so little Suzy can live her dream of being a firefighter. And, while princessing is rarely a life-or-death occupation, the same holds true. People go to the park expecting to see their favorite characters come to life, not to see Melissa McCarthy stuffed into a Cinderella costume. Sorry, Melissa. But, hit the gym, and you might still be able to make it as a firefighter.
EXACTLY. Why would they hire a plus size woman for a disney princess? It's not discrimination if all the princesses are super skinny (that means they would've AUDITIONED for a skinny character) and you're kicked out for being fat.
i don't think it's a bad thing you have to be skinny to be hired, it's because if you weren't thin then the all the cute little children wouldn't believe that THAT'S there favorite princess they watch all the time and they should believe it's them it's the whole point of the thing! And + it makes the girls work for their goals like we learn to do in The Princess In The Frog Disney made a movie about working for your goals! BTW not a fan of that movie just saying
Ok, but honestly, a size 12 isn't fat XD The majority of those little girls will grow eventually in pre teens and end up being sad because they aren't as cute/perfect/thin as their princesses were. And believing that they're wrong cause they've got a 12 size it's absurd.
I was a cast member and even though I was not a process I did perform on their parades as other characters. It was hard work and the costumes were heavy. But it was the most fun I ever had!!!!!! Through it all I loved it.
I get you have to deal with a lot of kids as a camp counselor, but the difference is that usually camps don't last all-year round. Also, why can't camp counselors drink coffee?
Guys you forgetting something.. You don't have to treat campers as guests you can tell them to be quite, pick up after themselves and so on and you do not have to act as if you are happiest thing on two legs. Imagine working in costumer service for kids in place where you supposed to act as a princess while treated as servant smiling all that time and making sure YOU pick up after all those kiddies AND making sure no one sees YOU picking up after all those kiddies. Camp counselor is no where near the heat those girls get. And you don't have to wear pretty dress that's very uncomfortable and make sure it does not get dirty or wrinkled even if those kiddies kick at you. And you don't get to pray you don't pass out from heat and thirst before your break starts. There is a reason they get this type of schedule.
As a professional cosplayer and performer, I am not shocked about these requirements and respect them a lot. The same things happen to a lot of my cosplay friends (including me) and it just makes me appreciate Disney princess's so much more.
Xx_Frosty Fire_xX - GD, Pixel Art and More! I kissed Mickey's nose as well...and it's not weird, they ask everyone to kiss their noses, even adults :-)
45 minutes work with a 15 minute break? I would freaking love that. I work 8 hour shifts and I usually get an unpaid 30 minute break. And before people go on tangents about how "imagine how tiring it would be surrounded by children and in the heat blah blah blah”, I work at a theme park as a rides operator, not just standing there doing nothing, but actually having to run about, giving safety briefings etc, as well as maintenance. During the summer I’ve literally collapsed due to heat exhaustion due to the fact that I cannot refill my water bottle. I would kill to be a Disney princess.
Ikr, for the longest time I think I've always romanticized the thought of being a Disney princess. However after learning all the cons and what not, it all sounds pretty tedious and stressful, and definitely NOT worth the crummy pay. lol
The discriminating against people of a certain size would seem more like discrimination of you hadn't just stated previously that the ladies have to share costumes.
NeverlandHunter I wouldn't say it'd be discrimination in that case either. I mean they're portraying a character anyway why would it be offensive if they don't hire someone who's way too obese to play Cinderella?
