I was in the this business for many years, having had booths, doing shows and a shop. I am not easily impressed. I must say you are one of the most creative people I have come across. Seeing all the wonderful things you make, kind of makes me want to get back in the game. One of the most enjoyable youtube channels I have seen!
*@Kristina Cleveland and @Canterbury Cottage - I do❣ Raising my hand 🙋♀️ and saying, "Let's get started!" every Tuesday is OUR equivalent of, "Gentlemen, start your engines!" at the Indy 500 - except WE are starting the neurons in our brains 🧠 to FIRE CREATIVITY into our DIY Think Tank until our reservoirs are FULL TO BRIMMING WITH IDEAS‼️🤣🤎💜💚😊👱♀️*
Ok I have to post another comment! Sherry those books and bird houses!!! Unbelievably adorable!! I'm sending this video to all my crafty friends and family. Seriously, this us probably one of your best videos! 🙌❤️
Great ideas! Love the square Christmas ornaments, Christmas book ornaments (wouldn't that be amazing on a library tree!) and the little Christmas houses. I always enjoy seeing what you come up with
All these ornaments are so beautiful! I would like to know what type of a printer you have. Mine doesn’t print out as beautifully as yours does. Thank you.
Yes they are!!! I had gotten to the point where if I saw one more “high end 😣” dupe, I was going to stop watching any, and then Sherry swoops in and blows all else out of the water!!!
Good morning, Sherry! Oh my goodness...these diy Christmas ornaments are unique and precious. I can't even choose a favorite. Your imagination never ceases to amaze. Thank you for sharing your creativity. 🎄🎄🎄🎄
Your imagination will allow me to make unique ornaments as gifts for my grandchildren. On the backs of many I will write Love from Gma Toni and the year. I am 72, and still have ornaments from my childhood.
Those glass ornaments are amazing!! You have such wonderful ideas that no one else has. I look forward to your videos every week. Thanks so much for sharing with the world!!
Hi Sherri, I just can’t wait for Tuesday’s because I know you are sharing your ideas, which never disappoint! The glass square ornaments, the miniature books the block snowman ,I can go on and on,you are terrific and are one of the best DIYers I have ever watched!! Cudos xx
I think this is one of the best videos you’ve ever done! They are ALL so beautiful and doable by most any crafter. You have inspired me to do an entire tree with your ideas. Thank you! I love your channel and your ideas. ♥️♥️♥️
Sherry, your work is always so detailed and beautiful. I think my favorite were the glass square ornaments, no wait, the bird houses, I mean the little dollartree buckets with the florals, Hmmmmm...the snowmen...O Boy..I can't choose just one. You are such an amazing crafter!! Thanks again for another great video. Have a lovely week! Lindy
You have such great ideas Sherry!!! Congratulations to the winners 🥰. When working with jewelry, I use E6000 with the jewelry fine tip or Aileen’s Ultimate Glue.
SHERRY !!!! Does your brain ever sleep ?? My face hurts again from smiling thru the video. Fantastic !! I love the vintage images the best. Please tell me what printer you use. I’m in the market for a new printer and “I’ll have what she’s having” to quote Sally … seriously. I am obsessed with you, your channel, and your followers’ suggestions !! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Good morning, Cheryl! So glad you liked today’s video! I have a Canon TR8520 printer. It is a couple of years old, so there is probably a newer model. I don’t use Canon ink cartridges because they are expensive and run out in no time. I buy Office World ink from Amazon. It is much cheaper and lasts 10 times as long. Sometimes I wish I would have bought a printer that prints on larger paper, but those printers are pretty expensive.
Thank you so much for sharing all of your wonderful ideas!! You are so creative!, I was looking for ideas for my tray, again, thank you Sherry, for sharing, so much appreciated 😊 As always, looking forward to your next video!
What fun and creative ideas for ornaments. You must spend countless hours creating and designing. I loved the putz houses but the glass ornaments were by far my favorites. They are so elegant and classy. Once again, thanks for the inspiration.
Hi Sherry🙂 I have several favorites - the wooden rounds with animal prints, the little books, the framed music and the little houses. Congratulations to the winners! Thanks for sharing Sherry 🙂❤️
I'm a huge fan of snowmen ornaments, and yours are simply adorable! ❤️ I use E6000 for gluing when I make jewelry. It will take longer to dry, but will hold your beads better. I also loved the wood round with the fox, and the glass ornament with the birds on the front and back. And those little books rind me of my grandparents house at Christmas time. ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness, I love the buckets. They would be great as place settings as would the frames if the stands were left on. Thank you for your channel! 💖
Oh, I just can't wait to make so many of these ornament projects from today's video. You never disappoint Sherri! Thanks for sharing your creative talent with all of us!
Sherry! Thank you for another inspiring video. My favorite? All of them! But honestly the little houses I will try to create. There is abundant opportunity for creating and embellishing all of these projects. Mod podge is my friend and I just LOVE your print outs.
Must admit I was initially not excited about the idea of Christmas ornaments however I soon realized that they did not have to be restricted to being hung on a tree. I loved the wooden Christmas trees, the snowmen and the framed music sheets paricularly. You are unbelievably creative; I think from now on when I contemplate using some of the "junk" I've collected I'll ask myself, "What would Sherry do?"
Good morning. You never disappoint me, your creations are so unique. I love that your ideas are not the same as everyone else. I can't pick a favorite! I love them all
I've made jewelry for over 30 years. The best adhesive I used was actually a 2 part epoxy clay. If I needed to glue something tiny, I'd use just the tiniest dot to adhere it. I have yet to lose a stone! I suspect a 2 part liquid epoxy would work similarly, but the clay was more fun to work with allowing for more creativity.
Hi Sheri ... Oh my your diys were all totally wonderful I particularly liked the square bauble ornaments to be honest I just loved them all some great ideas there ... Thankyou ... Sending much love your way from the UK and congratulations to all the winners xxx
Omg! I didn't think you could get more creative. Lol.love all of your works of art Those glass square ornaments are so beautiful. Keep up the great work.love all your videos.
As always, your attention to tiny details makes these DIYs magical!! I particularly love the little Christmas book ornaments 📚 Great ideas Sherry! On a side note - I couldn’t help but notice that your glue gun has some battle scars lol it looks a lot like mine!!! Happy Tuesday!
Good morning, Marina! I am not a neat crafter (my glue gun, hands, and craft table are evidence of this)! Sometimes when I am editing, I can’t believe I am showing everyone the mess! I watch other channels and I see perfectly manicured hands on a pristine white table, and I wonder why anyone watches my channel!😜
@@CanterburyCottage because you have an eye and a talent that no one else has. Your imagination is just incredible. We don’t care what your glue gun or table or hands look like. It a labor of love and you have a lot. Tyfs. Have a great week.
@@CanterburyCottage *Sherry, we love that you are "keeping it real"...THAT IS WHY WE WATCH YOUR CHANNEL❣Craft areas and tools get messy; it's reality. Please keep your videos 📹 "real"; messy is the sign of "Genius at work!" 🤣🎄🎁☃️*
I loved the rectangle glass ornaments...I think it would be awesome to make some with pictures of my Grandchildren every year!!! As always you are such an "amazing original"!!! You always have creations like I have never seen on another channel!!! Congrats to the winners!!!🎉 I LOVE TUESDAYS❣️❣️❣️❤️⭐️
Wow!! I can't believe I won! I completely forgot about the contest and was so excited to watch your video. When you mentioned the contest at the end, I thought, "What an extra major bonus for those who won" but then I saw my name. I was literally floored!! Thank you so very much!! What a blessing! As far as your ornaments go I am so amazed that you came up with so many ideas, made several of each idea & executed them all in a week. Plus, you had to compile & edit your video. Wow, I'm really impressed.
As a jewelry maker, I have found the best glue to use is E6000 or GS Hypo Cement. I loved all of the ornaments so much that there is no way I could pick a favorite! I will say that my hubby loved the rustic look of the wooden round ornaments with the woodland creatures. Congrats to the winners of the Amazon gift cards!
Sherry, thank you for sharing your amazing Christmas projects! I know you spend a lot of time and energy executing, filming, and editing your ideas, thank you. I printed your adorable little book covers, but instead of cutting out and sizing pages of old books for inside, I used small "post it" notes, of two different sizes and printed the book covers to match the "post it" pad sizes. I divided the post it pads in twos so got 2 books per pad. I only permanently attached the back of the pads to the book cover and used temporary glue dots for the front cover; therefore, the books can later be opened and the "post it" notes used. Now they can be first used as ornaments and then repurposed as note pads with a cute cover..
Good morning, Sherry! Mercy, mercy, mercy..... Today's vlog is full of such wonderful, quaint, unique, adorable ornament ideas🤩 *The wood rounds; such cute woodland printables. *Those wish/memory ornaments... Can I get an AMEN? *Those precious little book ornaments...🤯😱😳 Out of this world 👩🚀 *Those putzhouses...😍🥰 I am a birdhouse FANATIC 🐦🕊🏠 *The wood pine trees. I am speechless🤐 *Those jeweled birds... My goodness gracious!!!! I'am in love, love, love with the bird houses:))) They are amazing! I also love the wooden trees with the wooden spools and the birds and the picture frames with the music paper. Oh my gosh you are so talented :) God Bless.P.S. I just subscribed!!!
Oh my those are all so beautiful!!! I can't narrow it down to one favorite but my top three are the little houses, the little books and the framed Christmas carols!! I can't wait to give those all a try!! Thank you for another wonderful video!!
Oh my gosh... I was so happy to see your video was about ornaments that is what I chose... you seriously took them to another level I absolutely loved every single one of them... your creativity and attention to detail is amazing... thank you so much for sharing that with us... happy crafting my friend...❤️❤️❤️
AMAZING video. I cannot thank you enough for creating and sharing such beautiful memories and items. My favorites are the cube and birdhouse ornaments. I made my supply list. I need to get busy creating. I save old cards and have them filled by categories. Rather than cutting up my cards, I keep the cards as originals and print a copy to cut up and use for crafting. I can't wait to see your next video. You are my favorite for sure...🧡
You are ingenious.not you lived close. I am sure we would be very good friends. My mother, who is 73, Said we think alike. I told her are ahead and shoulders above me. Lol
On the square ornaments, I used pictures of my children of years back....some of them sledding, with their favorite gifts, or us gathered around the tree!
Sherry, it is very difficult to pick which one of the ornaments I like the best. I guess I really like the little houses and the birds. God bless sweet lady. Sherry from Alabama.
I love them all Sheri! Especially I love the clear cube flat back ornaments. I can't seem to find them, may I ask where you purchased yours? I'd love to get them!! The bird houses are super adorable, they all are!! Thank you so much for this awesome video!
I have bought them from my Hobby Lobby store for the past few years, but this year I couldn’t find them, so I had to order them from the Hobby Lobby website www.hobbylobby.com/Christmas/Crafts/Craft-Ornaments/Square-Ornaments/p/80195678
