There's a lot of Bears' podcasts out there right now. I happened to stumble on this one and will check out ones in the future. Nice job! Good info without a lot of clickbait trash. I agree completely on Calais Campbell. Interesting to hear you say that he can play inside and out. I thought that as well. He's listed on Pro Football Reference as playing end most of his career, but I'm hearing people say he is strictly a DT. He's the most complete d-lineman available right now. If the Bears sign him, that would give the d-line the depth they need and really round out the roster.
If Caleb walks the walk as well as he talks the talk, us Bears fans will finally have a QB we can all come together to celebrate! Obviously, he will have a lot to learn in year 1, but I have faith that each week he will have the ability to learn from most of his mistakes!
For several years my smart-ass kid has claimed that the main things that come from Bears pre-season are injuries and false hopes. Maybe he’ll finally be wrong this year.
Im excited to see the final cuts and if any udfas make it and if not do they keep them on practice squad? Booker just needs some polishing and he'll fit fine.
Get rid of borum and homer, sign Calais Campbell and were set. Cant remember who the DT #4 is but yea lol move austin inside and have walker backup to campbell. Supa bowllllll
The Bears have no ties to Calais. That’s coming out of nowhere. Yannick at least knew the system and had ties with Flus to the Colts. I highly doubt Cambell is a target for Poles. We’ll see.
Only if we keep a LE udfa, I'm not sure if we have a backup to tez sweat at the moment and we just need bodies to fill the roster at D line right now. Still no backup 3 tech
Instead of the players wearing the padded helmets during games, maybe Bears fans should think about purchasing a padded helmet for their padded cell to keep that one brain cell they may or may not have still intact.
Nah 80% of the passes on day 1 were going to Rome. Couple drops from the other rookies. He was getting a lot of reps so just a tweak. Depth at WR doesn't seem too deep is my only concern. Wester, velus, Pettis🤮
He will be learning from 2 of the best WR’s in the nfl. Plus he had the highest contested catch rate in College football. He’s less of a separation guy and more of a “go up and get it” guy. And he is elite at that. Alshon Jeffery didn’t get much separation but he turned into a damn good WR and helped the Eagles win a Super Bowl.
Man y'all gotta calm down .... Stop acting like we getting Tom Brady, Joe Montana, or somebody ... U gotta relax ... I know 1 thing is that there can't be 1 excuse for Caleb Williams if he doesn't be great it's on him the bears have done EVERYTHING 1
The excitement should be that he’s going to be better than Justin Fields. If he can do that, and actually find open receivers, we are going to be great. He just needs to be average right now.
