Thank you for showing a bit of your collection. I love the Bonfire!!! I agree with you about the Steampunk and Anna K tarot decks. Also, it's refreshing to see decks that haven't been modified. Sometimes, I appreciate them just as they are.
Love it! I have and ADORE the Druidcraft and Anna K (I actually have two copies of the self published Anna K because I wanted a back up copy while it was still available lol) I think it’s interesting with the Anna K how, despite it being a RWS deck, she swapped the Strength and Justice cards in their numbering to match Marseille style decks.
More of these videos! Por favor 🇵🇹🦋 Your essence and energy are absolutely perfect! 🐚🐠. But I’m having a problem...Since I started seeing your channel...my tarot decks wishlist became... enormous ! ! ! And I’m just a beginner!! 🙈😅 So I decide to riffle (sortear com os papeizinhos na taça 😂) one ...Just ONE deck........per month! 😁😍 Thank you! Beautiful soul! 🌙🌳
All those deck are a fav and the Hidden realm is such a jewel I didn’t think i wouldn’t be able to read it and you feel like the message comes thru the fey and on to you telepathically amazing to say the least
YASSS, loved this Avalon! I think I could listen to you talk about tarot decks all day long, and since this was about your very favourites it was especially a treat! I have 6 of these 11 decks in common with you as favourite decks (including the Bonefire which I have the Schiffer version of), the other 5 I don't have yet and may have to remedy that fact. Much love!!!!! 😘😘
I had the same reaction to the Anna K, especially the Ace of Pentacles and The Empress. The art is very similar to those vintage sculpted fabric dolls or apple dolls made of little old women. However, I kept looking at it again and again, and when I saw the Death card I knew I had to have it. Now it's my absolute number 1 deck, my soul deck if you will.
Shadowscapes was my first love. Bonefire is great too. I have Druidcraft waiting for me at the post office. I told you I'm growing an interest in Druidcraft. ;) Crystal Visions and Wildwood are both on my wishlist. And I've been iffy over Anna K as well. Maybe I'll give it a go after all!
The Wildwood Tarot is by Mark Ryan, John Matthews, and art by Wil Worthington. It was the successor to the Greenwood Tarot, which was by Mark Ryan and art by Chesca Potter. The Greenwood was very popular, but went out of print. Chesca held the rights to the artwork, and decided not to allow a reprint of the deck. Mark went and found Wil an redid the whole deck. Mark is an awesome guy, he gives great talks about the deck, when not acting is shows like 'Black Sails', 'Robin Hood' (from the 70s). There are several new books that go with the deck. I think Allison Cross did a 'Walk in the Wildwood'.
Hi Avalon, I finally have found a deck that I would like to give it a try, it's a 14:07 though I could not understand the name of it, do you think you can please spell it for me? I have been looking for a good deck for shadow work and that one looks like it might have some potential for it, I seemed to connect with right away, but I could not find it anywhere...did you say Marielle by who? I like when people go fast for not wasting too much time, though it deserves to be spelled a little slower, even better if it can be written somewhere of the box can be shown? Thank you!
I personally wasn't a fan of Dame Darcy's deck at all, I was super disappointed when I bought it, it's interesting seeing people really enjoy it :) to each our own.
