Absolutely ridiculous.. Do some research before hand. Chelsea won 6 trophies between 1997- 2003 (Before Roman took over) Yet that isn't considered success? So many fans are absolutely clueless and just jump on the bandwagon. The players that we also had before Abramovich era include names such as Zola, Gullit, Lampard, Terry, Desailly and Denis Wise. All world class players, so all this proves that Chelsea were already a top team before Roman Abramovich took over. Of course Roman's money has helped massively, and has had a huge impact on our success lately, but to say we bought our success is just stupidity. Hell, most people who say we were formed in 2004 weren't even born back then... Lastly, Roman took over in 2003, yet why most people joke that we were formed in 2004?? Because that was the Premier League Season we won the title in. Fucking haters.

I'd have put Blackburn Rovers on this list tbh. In fact, you could track the trait of high value transfers and track it to a few clubs, Blackburn was one of them.

Man U and Liverpool. They bought their success back in the day. But it only matters if its modern money though doesnt it, and a history of having numerous boring glory hunters and financial superiority is much better than a history of being the overachieving underdog.

These are just modern examples. Most clubs 'bought success' - just didn't take as much money back then since football wasn't as big. eg. Liverpool wouldn't have had their golden era without the Moores family

Terry, Lampard, Cech and Drogba cost 10M more than United spent on Rooney, or the same amount that City spent on Aguero, and yet we're top of the list and treated like villains. Utterly bias and ridiculous. United spend 200m in one year and cant even approach the top 4, City spend the same and are performing worse than previous seasons, oh no thats fine, but because Chelsea have succesfully remained a threat on all fronts we ruined football. No hatred for Bayern or Real though, Real who used to fucking cheat their way to success cos the royal family supported them, Bayern who have stepped on every German club throughout history. Heres a fact for you FC Nurnberg are the second most succesful team in terms of winning the Bundesliga with 9 compared to Bayerns 26. Dortmund have like 5, same with Gladbach, Schalke, Wolfsburg and Leverkeusen, because every single time another German team would do well, Bayern would flash the cash and push them right back down. Yet Chelsea, are the villains? the team whos biggest hero and arguably most valuable player since Roman has been a home grown Captain, the team who whilst not bringing enough time to their youth team in the starting squad has created an entire teams worth of English players regularly winning high calibre youth competitions, the team who signed Torres and Shevchenko are evil in spite of them being huge flops. Everton spend 30m (about 5m less than we spent on Diego Costa, btw) on Bolasie and nobody bats a fucking eyelid.
