Here are a few more facts: 11: The songs in Cuphead’s week all carry themes from his origin game, namely Snake Eyes(how Cup rolled the dice, landing both on one), Technicolor Tussle(alliterative naming and how most boss levels are named), and Knockout(the call that happens when you beat a boss). 12: All the Nightmare songs have anti-cheat measures if you try to edit the charts, soft-locking the game and forcing you to restart the game. 13: One of Papyrus’s songs is kind of a pun itself, namely Bad To The Bone(referring to a common saying that someone is “Pure Evil”). 14: Bendy’s secret song, Freaky Machine, is a major reference to DAGames’ songs, namely Build Our Machine and Instruments Of Cyanide. 15: A update is confirmed for the mod, with one of the confirmed characters being King Dice from Cuphead(check the mod’s wiki page for more info). EDIT: Technicolor Tussle also carries a reference to Technicolor, a three-strip colorizing film process that allowed cartoons to show more hues and colors than Cinecolor, a two-strip process that only allowed hues of red and green.

It’s interesting that bf is traveling to different popular indie games and challenging them but soon bf will achieve his nightmare form due to the fact that if a person loses they get stronger and bf got injured but the source of the power still giving him a chance to fight back and not to mention that the three characters sans, cuphead, and bendy achieve their nightmare form when they lost what is Moro trying to do with something very dangerous and will not go well also it may be a theory but when I saw their nightmare form they are kinda similar to tricky phase three but only certain areas cupheads flaming straw, sans flaming hair, and bendys flaming hands and to my guess is that Moro may have either stolen or copy tricky’s phase three powers and transfer them into them giving them nightmare status the power are just fragment but still dangerous. It’s still unknown if we are gonna going to see tricky again but if we do I hope we can play him as a character challenging different indie cross characters or something that would be cool.

Games I wish to see in indie cross: . Hollow knight (either The Hollow Knight or Hornet with their own song in free play) . Celeste (both Madeline and Badeline) . Shovel knight with his own week( wouldn't mind a battle with the order of no quarter/enchantress)

I'm really hoping that the indie cross mod will include a hat in time, it is one of my favorite indie games and has some of my favorite video game characters in all of gaming history (aka the snatcher and conductor)

Me hearing his theme: *mentally cries* Edit: pretty sure there is a few hidden songs. I only know two of them. Bonedoggle and Goose. (For goose just type goose. Idk how to get bonedoggle but I'll update if I can.) Also boondoggle has 3 sets of arrows. One for sans, one for bf, and one for papyrus.

I love the Core and His Theme and in “Burning in Hell” and Roses in “Sansational” But that out of the way for a moment. There was a video sorta recently talking about FNF mods and the sources, and I wanna mention something from it sorta. If you listen closely in this video, you can hear and see all of the weeks having TONS of references to the characters’ sources, which is insane and makes the mod feel so smooth (besides mechanics moment) I and many others like mods that have references to the sources, like Indie Cross, Sonic.exe, Mario’s Madness, Tails Gets Trolled (Cancel moment..), etc..

Fun Fact: The very hard intro on whopee is a reference to Sans using his strongest attack at the beginning and saying "Always wondered why people never use their strongest attack first." Fun Fact 2: Just like all of Sans's songs, Papyrus's song Bonedoggle and Bad to the Bone are heavily inspired by Bonetrousle. Listen to it and you'll unsderstand what I'm saying. Fun Fact 3: You don't attack Cuphead when he uses Chaser (The green bullets) because Chaser is the weakest weapon in the game. For anyone who thought that was the Arc, the Arc shoots upwards sticking onto the ground acting as a landmine Edit: Fun Fact 3 didn't make any sense so I edited it lol

Really shows how much heart and love was put into such a wonderful mod. All those references and nods to their original sources, it's all just so amazing to see and I'm sure both veteran fans and new fans who just got into these games because of this mod enjoyed it a lot. I really can't wait for more updates!

I think it would be a massive stretch to expect a week for Songs For a Hero (A Lenda do Herói), despite being one of the indie games that makes the most sense to have a week in Indie Cross.

here are my ideas for Indie Cross: Minecraft week: you rap battle with a Steve-controlled player,who simply just wants to finish building his house and you accidentally broke it because you fell from the portal. 1st song: Build 2nd song: Fight 3rd song: Night rage Attack option: if Steve tries to aim his arrow with a bow,press the Attack button on time before he shoots or you're done for Dodge: He will approach you and slash you with a sword so dodging can save you from a fatal drain in your HP Bonus: Dodge Zombies,Skeleton arrows,Spider pounces and Phantom attacks with Dodge button Notes: Snowball - press it if it appears on the chart. if not, you'll get snowballed and snow will slightly cover your screen Ender pearl - press it to parry Steve's teleport attack or else he'll decrease your HP bar . . . Freedom Planet week: BF fell from the portal and ended up in Lilac's treehouse,where Lilac,Carol and Milla are watching a movie. I don’t know if this would happen, but I would love to see Shantae in the mod. She’s one of the first and probably one of the more well known indie characters ever known. I don’t know what gimmicks she could have, but I think it would be fun to see

I think it's (maybe) confirmed that Hollow Knight is going to be the next week, judging by The Radiance's scream at the end of the credits (The Radiance is the true final boss of Hollow Knight)

I’d like to mention that cuphead’s voice is actually just a eyeball of his voice because the cup head show was released on feb 18

My theory is that with each new update they're gonna put in a character that represents a certain genre of video games. Cuphead is a platformer, Undertale is an RPG, and Bendy is a Survival Horror. So here are my guesses/hopes for the next update: Shantae: She comes from a long running indie series and she's often referred to as an "Indie darling". Her music is also very iconic and her transformation powers could be used for a unique mechanic or for stage transformations. And her friends could be used for freeplay songs Just Shapes and Beats: Bullet Hell with a bunch of different songs made by several different musicians. The main antagonist of the game(I think his name is Blixer) is a good opponent as he represents the mechanichs of his game perfectly and he has multiple forms throughout the game's story. I also want to hear more EDM inspired music in FNF. Kyu from Huniepop: Obviously this is not gonna happen considering she is from a porn game but it would be really cool. She could represent Dating Sims and Puzzle Games and it would be interesring to see what the developers of the mod would do with her. The only reason I think she has a chance is because DAgames made a few Huniepop songs a few years ago when the game released and he's one of the new directors so he could suggest her.

The motif of "His Theme" is also in Sans' Nightmare track, Bad Time.🙂

And now we have an explanation for what happened to Tricky since those Portals were the same as the one he was send in (also morø worked or even was the creator of both mods).

Along with the Hollow Knight's roar, the intro of Indie Cross has Boyfriend falling through the Forgotten Crossroads of Hollow Knight after Shovel Knight's Plains of Passage. Also, during the cutscene where Boyfriend is attacked by a swarm of Butcher Gang members, a version of Nosk's theme from Hollow Knight is played. Nosk being a giant spider from the game's "Deepnest". This means that we get to rap against the Hollow Knight and possibly the Radiance in the next week after Bendy. Also, the song "Freaky Machine" has several DAGames references. The first half of the song is "Build our Machine", and the second is "Instrument of Cyanide". Along with that, the stage where the song takes place and Bendy's appearence in the second half are from "Gospel of Dismay".

The indie game I'm making is actually canonically connected to any multiverse imaginable. I won't spoil what happens, but I have an idea of the bad ending being the canonical one.

I don't think it would happen and I don't know how-but seeing a week based on What Remains of Edith Finch or the developer's other game, Unfinished Swan, would be AMAZING. They're such overlooked pieces of art in the gaming community that i feel deserve a chance to shine in this tribute to all things indie.

Something I'm surprised that you didn't note is that, just like your fight with him during a genocide run, the very first part of San's very first song starts off with all of his mechanics active, before he dials it back later on. Just like how Sans starts off with a flurry of attacks at the start, before dialing it back when it doesn't work. I thought that was a nice touch.

this video is amazing and i love it as my personal favorite. im not sure if you're going to do a part 2 becuase of many secrets you missed like what happens when you try to edit the chart in a nightmare song and how the game over screen in the song gose is based off of the song monochrome from hypno lullaby.

I think we’re all missing the obvious choice here: The hit game among us. It’s a murder mystery game with, to say the least, “recognizable” characters. There isn’t any real music in the game, just sounds. But they could probably do something like vs imposter and reference among us meme songs like airpod shotty and among us drip, and use the sound effects in the game to make songs. (P.S. this is a joke comment, but among us is an indie game which makes it a possibility)

Indie Cross is the third mod where 3 notestrums are present, first being Golden Apple, second being the Modchart Madness + Astral Chaos mod. GF is completely absent. the Game Over in Gose is a Monochrome reference, as well as referencing the doxxing meme.

I know this is a stretch but I think sans’ entire week has an Easter egg. In undertale, the way fighting works is you take turns fighting, this is done through duet free songs in the pacifist route. On the genocide route however, the final song has a lot of duet parts just like in the game where sans interrupts your turn in the menu by hitting you with a bone. If this was intentional, that’s very cool
