Great video! This is something I'm starting to consider more and more. I have PMDD so my 'I need a break' phase is longer. Hard to accept but its the way it is 🙂

Ever since the first course I took from you, I’ve been so confident in knowing my body and cycle. So thankful for you! My period is coming any day now and I’m prioritizing rest and planning during the time for work and life events once ovulation hits. And I’m indulging in cozier foods

I usually crave sweets and salts before y period and then fruit while on my period. So strange. So making sure i have it all is sooo necessary. These are really good tips. Love the video. Thank you.

The snacks comment hits home 😂 (all the other points are wonderful and ring so true, but if you’re hangry - never ideal 😂🤣❤️)

This sounds so weird to say, but the Mermaid Guppy menstrual cup is amazing. I used the diva cup before babies, but that just did not work anymore afterwards even after going a size up. The mermaid guppy is wide and can’t slide as easily. Also has a low profile

It would be very interesting to hear your thoughts on irritability during PMS. Is there anything you do to make it better? Supplements/ habits etc.

This was awesome thank you. I realized last night how much my period affects my mindset, appetite, relationship, energy levels etc. So I decided to do some research and start preparing a "period basket " for that inevitable week. Everything you mentioned makes sense so I'll adopt these habits too. Merci!

Tossing a content request in- I know you've talked about how much of a life change that having kids is. My partner and I are both on the fence about having children. We think about having a family and raising a good person, teaching them what our parents didn't teach us, and that seems great. But then I think of my resources, my time, the fact that I'm sure that I'd do a lion's share of the parenting, along with the fact that I manage my own finances and I would not be able to stay on the same track with mat leave (s) and daycare, etc. We don't have parents here to help us- so it truly would be $ intensive, either through cost or my loss of income. This reality makes me feel like having children without intense stress only happens for those who are very well off. Or, you could say that having children almost seems like a luxury due to the cost involved. I know you love your boys, and I know you can only speak for yourself- was having kids worth it? Would you go back and not get pregnant? My friends don't have kids yet, my partner's friends are roughly 50/50, and one of the ones who has two small children wishes it were socially acceptable to give his kids up for adoption. Other friends of my partner's say there's nothing better. And yet, the one who hates parenthood does say he really wanted to have kids. If you're ever willing to really delve into this, I'd appreciate it. All I know is I don't know what I want, but I'm 32, so within the next 5-7 years, I really need to solidify my choice 😂

RU-vid has closed captions that you can turn on. It's the little CC box in the top right corner in the video.

Goodness we are so similar in our issues and how we handle our periods! My cramping changed once I gave birth and honestly never thought it was pelvic floor but maybe it is...just feels like being kicked in the vagina.

Question - does anyone else only wear black underpants/knickers while they’re on their period? Is anyone else scared of wearing light coloured underwear? Xx
