I think you should do a few more cruises as I think your off the mark with some of your opinions. I’ve never been on an NCL ship that shuts down at 10pm(11 cruises, 7 ships). I also prefer NCL food over Royal’s(3 cruises, 3 ships) both more than acceptable but hey it would be boring if we were all the same.. happy cruising..:)
Neither of these lines has ever ranked as my favorite. The "best line for any person or family depends on stage in your life, what you enjoy, etc. One thing that I appreciate is lines that don't play the "nickel and dime" game but have a more "mostly inclusive" system. On this factor, Royal does better.
I"m not fan of these private islands. Purpose of traveling is to encounter new adventures in countries where I have not been before. Private islands are anesthesia to me.
I feel the exact same way. People push CocoCay on me as a reason why I need to be loyal with Royal and I’m like I like culture, trying new foods, seeing landmarks and sights, meeting real people from that country etc. what’s the point of traveling if I’m just going to get an American experience?
I can agree with a couple of items, but this feels more like a commercial than a comparison. First and foremost, my wife and I stopped going on Royal Caribbean because everything shut down so early. Not so on NCL in my experience. And Royal Caribbean cabins are just too small versus options on NCL. Some of your comparison items vary by ship on both Cruise Lines.
