On Ashura Day, Imam Hussain A.S., the Prophet's (PBUH) grandson was martyred. He sacrificed himself to save Islam, and he did this selflessly. The least we can do is show our respect. We also reflect, give charity, oppose oppression, pray, read The Holy Quran and other supplications, because this is what Imam Hussain A.S. stood for - with the aim of pleasing Allah and drawing closer to Allah. We do not need to be Shia, Sunni or anything else to show our compassion, respect or grief. You just need a good heart and a thinking mind.

​@@farid7838We do not worship them. We just respect them. They are just like a source to the way of God. We worship one and only Allah. Please don't say such things if you don't know. Pls do research on shias. Then give statements. By the way sunnis are our brothers.
