Oh yeah, it's only because of Senpai and Serroh's videos on it that it finally clicked for me. But by that time I was so irritated that I was in Monopoly board-flipping mode against poor Mickey 😂😂
Play Goofy next! He only uses Goofy pieces. I felt the same way the first time it felt like FOREVER to beat Mickey! Once you unlock a few more pieces, which playing Goofy next should help, makes playing a easier and a bit more fun!
I'm extremely happy on what they did with the shop and now we can have more varieties of items we can buy every day and we can buy as many stuff we can get if we are planning on decorating the valley or the players houses!

The bug with the orange and yellow glass flowers is actually pretty cool, made me think of the avatar movies( when they touch the plants, they light up) hopefully they will give us something like that in the future I think the big red stall from eternity isle also has been resized since it moved out of my market

Yeah, I didn't cover that too much as I still prefer to use the filters and encourage others to do the same. It's the best way to know *exactly* which tags are on each item! That said, I am happy they added the tab and they even included the "bonus" items on it!

I wish they would tell us how many "bonus/suggested" tags we've got in our shot. That would make it easier than having to keep checking. Like they could also include it in the same spot before you submit. I dunno, so many times I've had to go back and recheck because I sometimes, especially for outfit challenges, will go through one tag ar a time per piece of clothing, including bonus.
The meat category for cooking was always there at the bottom, it just never had an icon for it so it was invisible. Scrolling down below the last icon would allow you to go further, and if you had pressed the button it would only show the meat. I'm glad they finally clarified this by adding an actual button for it. The shop upgrade is really nice too, and thank you for explaining the issue with the dream snap tags as well.
these were great changes to note. ill add one more i found that falls under a glitch/bug fix. In forgotten lands they fixed the rocks behind where the pumpkin house starts, you can no longer walk through them, and dont have to worry about hidden items like wood or chests spawning in there
A small bug I found with that same quest on the laughing floor about clearing up slime and trash was that the very last one of each wouldn't appear. I walked around the realm four times and couldn't see it. So I went back to the valley then back to the realm and then they appeared right by the side of Mike and Sulley
Omg that treadmill flower bed ...funny. Does Scrooge sell this working flowerbed treadmiĺl in his shop. The treadmill that makes you exercise more by not being able to get off it. Scroogethon.😂😂
my character seems tinnier than before... has anybody else felt this too? idk if doors/ceilings got taller or if really my mc that got smaller... (I noticed this first when entering the dreamlight castle, it seems huge now... and then in my own house idk if its because the objects were resized or what)
You could be on to something with some items being resized! I could tell a big difference in my fireplace! As far as the avatars overall, I haven't noticed to much of a difference yet!

We've been able to do that since the December update! It was a hot topic back when it first rolled out because we can finally use them for indoor Dreamsnaps! You'll actually see the Celestial Turtle Companion in the "Under The Sea" dreamsnap I showed in the video and that was taken back in January I believe!
@mrawesomemustafa999 Surprisingly, a lot of people missed this information! Mostly because they didn't put this in the last updates patch notes! 😅 I swear I love Gameloft, but they leave out some major stuff sometimes! 😂
Next thing I'd love is that I hope they add turning off spawns to that gameplay tab.🤞🏻 Have you or your community figured out why the door at the top of the castle becomes night thorn free after Sulley & Mike's quests are done? We can't go in but the night thorns have disappeared & I checked, they were there before I entered the Monsters Inc relam.
My favourite addition is the book about L shaped couches in Scrooges shop 😏 They did really well with this update! Thanks for putting it all in one place, my ADHD brain was scattered trying to figure out everything that had changed 😆🤎
I had a problem with the Partners Statue and the armor. I've claimed them, in the mailbox it's marked as claimed, but they have completely disappeared from my inventory. I've searched everywhere, done everything people told me to do, and nothing. It's like I don't have the items at all. Even tried to buy them from Scrooge, and it's not there.
So sorry to hear that! Sounds like an extremely frustrating bug! The best thing you could do at this point is visit DDLV's official website and report the problem. They usually email back in just a few days!
@@Probably_Senpai Thank you so much for your sympathy and kindness! I've already reported the problem at the official support website and now I'm just waiting for them to respond. It got me a little bit sad yesterday 'cause I was really excited to put the Partner Statue in the valley, but hopefully they will fix that for me really soon
My Haunted Mansion house was bumped over because it no longer fit where I had it. 😢 I have yet to find more items but that was a sad one I had to spend time fixing.
Have you ever tried messing around with a good mix of "mandatory" and "recommended?" It could help! Though, voter choice will also always have an impact in performance! So, I'd recommend your goal being to create a high quality Dreamsnap (Good foreground, background, lighting, composition, ect.) AND use items that hold mandatory + bonus tags. Best of luck in your next challenge!
A bug got discovered is what I placed scramble coin there is no sound. Also when you’re laying down path you can’t click off of the path unless you hit the cancel button or the very center of the tile that last put down. It’s annoying lol
Interesting! I haven't noticed any change in my mushroom house yet! I have it packed into my meadow pretty tight! If the size changed, I'm surprised mine didn't move!
(On PC) Another bug I have - I can only select the seeds by using mouse, used to be able to use a button. I was hoping they'd fix the bug where you can't auto-place stuff in chests after using the vacuum 90% of the time, but they didn't.
By the way, another glitch for me, that I now am sure is not a coincidence. I keep finding the "homey rug" in random places in my valley. At first, I thought MAYBE I put it there to keep it out of the way. But today is, I believe, my 3rd time finding outside in a random spot! Anyone else noticing this? 🤔 Also, and this one is annoying me, when you go to resquest for clothing or furniture iteam for a quest, if you back out the character icon/filter which leads you to iteams that work with their quest disappears. Even if you keep click the request menu up and down. This has happened to me on a Mike quest and for a Gaston quest. I wanted to save an outfit I was wearing before changing for Gaston, and I backed out of "Requests"and now the icons are gone when I go back in 😥
The floating lanterns have to be purchased in the current starpath first, and then you'll be able to buy additional ones at Scrooge's. They are on the first page of rewards, so you can get them really fast! ❤
1,000 items to buy per day awesome. I wasn't exactly that. Thank goodness the bug issues except for that bug issue with the quest for Mike and Sulley in the Monsters Inc Realm. Thank goodness I didn't not get that bug issue at all. Plus you forgot to mention that when we fast travel to from Dreamlight Valley to Eternity Isle we can hear a sound now.
Yes, the 1000 items is a GREAT change! As for the SFX, I didn't *forget* to include that. 😁 As pointed out in the opening, the goal of this video was to cover changes that were *NOT* communicated to us. Audio SFX updates have always been part of the update and patch notes. That's why it's not covered!

I found a green chest on the laugh floor and in the admin office. But the one on the laugh floor didn’t give an item or coins. But the one in the admin did give me a pouch. (I can’t remember off the top of my head but it was a furniture item from the monsters Inc). Either way just wanted to m kw if anyone else had this issue? Thanks in advance

I have a question! For Dreamsnaps which are for clothing, is it best to stand for pictures? I was wondering if the sitting with robot could probably throw off the image for votes?
Hey! I don't think sitting will hurt the vote much so long as it goes well with the photo and the outfit is still visible! I've done a few outfit submissions in which I was sitting or squatting with pets and still obtained my 4K moonstone reward. When posing with companions, I'd just be sure not to block off any portions of your outfit! For example, holding a sea turtle or a bunny can hurt if you don't angle it right. Straight on the companions will get in the way of voters who want to see your outfit... so I'd recommend against using companions like those... but sitting has never hurt my rank/score from what I've seen!

Does anyone else have the problem where they’re two front windows in the Scrooge store doesn’t have anything in them? Mine just shows piles of coins and I haven’t bought anything.

i can't access the star path filter on my console the ui freezes and i have to close it. also you can use critter poses inside now without glitching it

I bought a moonstone pack recently but it didn’t add to my current amount, so I tried restarting it and checked my mailbox and still nothing. I was wondering if you or anyone else has been having that problem and that it might be a bug or am I just doing something wrong?
Actually my friend Thia (she plays on Playstation) had this exact issue happen to her yesterday. I recommend visiting DDLV's official website and reporting the issue ASAP! They usually fox issues related to moonstones or premium items faster than almost everything else.😅
Oh, no way! That would take a 1000 years or a miracle! 😅 The trick is to "hang out" with them and bring them to your photo spot. Then you just trap them by building around them. In the Arendelle photo I used snowy rocks from the landscaping menu. The villagers can't walk over them. Any item you can't walk over or through will work to trap them. Cheers!

Are you talking about the Scrooge shop filters? I couldn't scroll down that far with my controler, but I could with my mouse! Try using the touch screen on your switch to scroll to the bottom!
I use to be able to buy meat when the last update happened. I have not been able to for a long time now. Is it bugged or was the buying processed ched. I i also have not seen the freen venus fly trap for a long time, and recently noticed the red one has not been popping.
Regarding meat, I've had no issue. Meat was only introduced recently with the expansion (December) and you couldn't buy it until you leveled up your friendship with Gaston. I've never had any issue using the cart once I leveled up Gaston. The green ones are rarer and usually only 2 can occupy the wild tangle at once. If there are 2 hidden somewhere, no more green fly traps will spawn. My recommendation is to check up above the promenade where the entrance to the Sultan's palace is. Players often forget that flowers spawn up there. (I overlook that spot ALL the time!) If that doesn't work for you and you still can't find them, I'd recommend taking a level 3 vacuum with you. Keep in mind, the vacuum will ONLY pick up items in the "sub-section" it's in. So, it won't pick up anything that's over a bridge or across a ramp within the wild tangle! You'll have to place it into each section and use it! I've actually had about 3 people come to me with this problem and this solution worked every time. The problem was always that they could not find the 2 green flytraps and since they never picked them, no more would spawn. Good luck.
@Probably_Senpai i opened the game and i was on Eternity Isle. I cannot get back to the Valley. Tried every way to get back Game crashes Mining now lags but doesn't crashs Same with any activity Digging, fishing etc 😭 Had to send my steam deck back 2 weeks ago under warranty Stuck on my laptop for a few months ☹️

Are you new to gaming? 😅 Any change made to a game that adds simplicity or tends to make thing more orderly or effecient has ALWAYS been called a "Quality of life" change. You do know we are playing the game with the free time from our LIFE right? Saving even more free time to enjoy the game IS a "Quality of Life" change. Kind of shocked I'd have to explain this as it's a completely normal phrase in gaming. 😂
@Probably_Senpai sorry that you were inconvenienced in explaining how this is a quality of life... although I am not new to gaming when folks talk about quality improvements to games they normally clarify it is a quality of Sim life improvement in the game. These improvements will definitely help make the game better and improve quality but... so I looked it up. Quality of Life is the standard of health, comfort, and happiness experienced by an individual or group. "the things that are needed for a good quality of life" So in a broader definition I apologize for not agreeing with you and I apologize for asking you to define what you meant.

If you google search "Game Development Quality of Life" You'll see that it is a widely adopted and utilized industry term. The term has NEVER been "Quality of game life" I wasn't trying to be rude when I suggested you were new to gaming... but the fact you've never heard this term refferenced is surprising. Mostly because this is an industry norm. People don't "normally clarify" as you put it because it is WIDELY understood as used... So again, I'm not trying to be rude here. I am just genuinely shocked that anyone who's been gaming or following game development would be in the dark on this. 😅 Lastly, you don't need to apologize. I'm not upset with you or anything!
