Just because something belongs to a particular cinematic universe, doesn't mean it's not original storytelling or unique content, but there is plenty of space within the five categories for such new, "original," content. ▫️You can turn your, "reminders," option off lol there's no reason you'll be, "bombarded with ads and advertisements, like on Twitter, Facebook, and RU-vid." ▫️There absolutely WILL be R-Rated content, if it falls within the five categories outlined in the service. Disney is, and has always been, a FAMILY-oriented entertainment, "Juggernaut." And, as such, people have never really flipped to a Disney channel, or looked for super violent or sexual content under the Disney heading lol there is still PLENTY of places to find that stuff elsewhere, if that's what you want, like Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, for streaming services, or your local basic Cable provider. People always seem to forget that Netflix is available in 190 countries as well as the fact that it has international content, original movies and tv shows from other countries which most streaming services do not offer. Another thing is that these disneys shows and content from other streaming platforms in the US will not be pulled from other continents like asia and africa. Sure disney was a part of my childhood but I wouldnt pay so much to ride the nostalgia wave. I like how both netflix and prime feature content from my home country and others as well.

I don't have cable so in our family we use Netflix, Hulu, and RU-vid hooked up on our chromecast to our tv's to watch movies and shows through our iPhones. Will Disney + have that same access? That's my question. Sure in my office and my phone I can watch this but I'm more concerned about chromecast etc. so the rest of my family can watch it.

You are so right with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, and now Disney Plus, where do I get another life time to watch all this stuff. Back in the 50s and 60s we had 3 major tv stations. It was perfect, you knew what shows were on and planned your home work around them. Now its so much content I want to drop all the services and maybe only go with one. Hulu is my main one, but I do like Amazon for free shipping. Disney may have to wait.
