He liked Boban, because he managed to match Nikola Peković, who at that time was the most dominant center in Europe. He later didn't trust his knees, and because of that he stagnated for the next few years, until he went to the team where he had a coach who later worked with Nikola Jokić. 2) He didn't start his "pro career" at the age of 14. He started practicing basketball in a local club when he was 11, and at the age of 15 he went to the club where Darko Miličić played. Height, skill, heart. Man, the only thing missing is that he isn't black. If he was, he would be splashed all over the media.
