10 Things You Didn't Know about the Audi Q3: 2nd Generation (F3) 

I haven't noticed any scraping from my windshield wipers, but there definitely is not enough windshield wiper fluid dispensed. I have checked to make sure my fluid levels are topped off and even then I need to dispense it 2-3x to get enough fluid on my windshield. It's one of the very few pet peeves I have of the car.

U can adjust where the washer fluid sprays on the windshield using a torx 10 or 15 I believe.

@@luisgonz760 How is that done? I have a 2021 Q3 and noticed the same thing it doesn't go all the way up. Can you explain to me how to adjust it please.

@@swgforthefence yeah grab a torx 10 or 15 I believe can’t remember exactly. Pop ur hood open for more hand space. Towards the bottom of the windshield and start of the hood you’ll see the washer fluid Jets on the hood. Insert the torx 10 and turn clockwise to adjust higher on the windshield

Hey, try using a needle insert it in the exit holes. A hair deep. And lift the needle to change the directions of the holes it worked for me.

If I understand your question correctly, the LED light display in the fancy cascading mode that you see in the EU version is strictly regulated in the US. So the turning signals are just blinking ordinarily; not sure if it's the same in Canada. US regulations also require the tail lights to be stationary on the car; anywhere else is considered decorative. Hence you have lights where the bumper is in addition to the moveable open/close hatch.

odd thing tho, my back turn signal has the sequential/dynamic light , but the front steady blink only, sigh

Is that the komfort model in Canada? If so, you would have needed to get the 45 or upgrade volspur package

A ‘21 was built during Covid, LED was a common shortage across all manufacturers. Ford’s highest truck trim , Lariat, lost the Front LED headlights in 21, 22, 23 due to global supply issues.

2022 don’t have the blind spot monitors aka side assists. This is because of the chip shortage.

@@themayurtolani that's crazy and unacceptable, when other vehicles like the Corsair has it. Cadillac xt4 and xt5 have them. Believe it or not blindside asst is needed nowadays. Yes you can do without it. But it's one of the major safety features.

@@WDholm27 I completely agree what you are saying. Audi is actually very disappointing in many things tbh. The engine and interiors are good but tbh many other companies like Hyundai offers much better user experience for using the multimedia system, customizable interface for instrument cluster and making so many other things work in sync. And yeah, safety features like side assist is just too good to miss on. Every 15k to 20k car of Hyundai has it even on the base model.

@@themayurtolani Hyundai and Kia are taking the auto industry over. Those cars and SUV offer more as you have stated. Their appearance is first rate. Everything about the South Korean autos are superb. 👍 thumbs up to Hyundai and Kia

@@themayurtolani I have a 2022 S Line Q3 purchased in Dec of 2021 and my car does have the signals on the exterior mirrors, which I like a lot

The S-line premium prestige I believe does.

They are the same thing the virtual cockpit is just the name Audi puts on it

@@audirs24 its not the same thing. My girl has a Q3 and i have an RS5 hers just has a digital cluster not a full virtual cockpit.

​@@stefanomarcellino6701 Actually it is, It is called Audi virtual cockpit which is what the Q3 has, showing speed, rpm, music, etc; and the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus is what the RS5 has. All an Audi Virtual cockpit. the plus just means that there is more information possible within the screen and has the possibility to change looks. :)

@@stefanomarcellino6701 Upgrading to the Premium plus line for the Q3 adds the Virtual Cockpit Plus adding more adaptive maneuverability, map screen, and the different gauge possibilities. the premium, both 40 and 45 TFSI Quattro engines contain the base screen housing simple but important information.

Absurd GOOD or absurd bad? Mine does NOTHING! (Yes, I have it activated correctly.) I brought it back to the dealer and they said their "diagnostics" showed everything was fine. After about 3 hours of arguing with the Salesman, the Service Manager, and the General Manager, their conclusion was that the Pre Sense and Pre Sense Front were only made to warn you and apply the brakes when you are A FEW INCHES away from whatever you are about to hit! The Subaru I traded in warned me at least 2 - 3 car lengths before and applied brakes at least 1 car length before. I set up rows of cheap Styrofoam ice chests in front of the car and tested the car at low speeds and higher speeds and my "warning" was a slight beep AFTER SMASHING THROUGH THE STYROFOAM (and the brakes never activated). Of course the dealer would not let me demonstrate this to them when I went back with the ice chests. I'm selling the POS and buying another Subaru.
