Hey I been through a lot with cars and I’m only 18. I’m headed to college soon and need something new would a Mazda 3 or 6 be great for a college student?
@@xzavionbranch7569 yeah, depends what you're looking for. But when push comes to shove, they're reliable cars. Just watch out if you're buying one up north, they almost always have rust problems. And as far as having one as a college student, it's a good car. If you want to have some fun, though, the mazdaspeed 3 is where it's at. I promise you.
I adore my 2012 Mazda3! Just bought a 2022 Hyundai Tucson which makes the 2012 tech look ancient, but still love driving my “zoom zoom.” It’s a great, perky little car!
I lost my nic sticks and dab pens SO many times in the cup holders, I use to think I was going crazy one day i took it apart and my day was made with how much of my stuff I found
I am saving up for a silver 2010 Mazda 3. (the 2.5 liter one) I have done research and I like what I see. I know that a lot of people don’t like the large grinning grill on the front but I like it a lot. I love this car’s design.
@@muneco-cg8qz The speed3 is cool even I think, but honestly I’m not really into hatchbacks... like at all. I think that even one that’s supposed to look sporty looks kind of corny. I would like to drive one, but I don’t want to own one.
Lol when I had to get a mom car I was so sad. Lol as it happens, my kid now knows to grab the oh shit bar when we're coming up on a curve and I'm reaching for the shifter knob. It's a fun little car. I'd add...have also lost a credit card to the console. Take the extra time to put them away before you pull off 🤣
Here is some facts you may not know about the 2010 mazda 3. 1. The car was designed by Laurens Van Dan Ecker (his previous positions was head designer for Bugatti Race cars) that's why the car looks so aerodynamic and ahead of its time. 2. the car was designed when Mazda had a partnership with ford. So the the chasis was called the C1 platform which was developed by Volvo who also had a partnership with ford, the platform was so good Volvo used it in their S40 sports car. The 2.0 liter engine in the mazda 3 was called 2.0 MZR engine which was a detuned version of the engine also used in the MX -5 Miata at that time. The Mazda 3 was so ahead of its time compared to other compacts. I still have mine and its running great at 300000 km's
Wow that's some interesting fact.been driving this car for 4 years now without knowing about that. Btw, after 300k mileages, what's the worst or the biggest problem that you had?mine was around 160k as of today.
@@niksyimi the clutch had to be replaced at 280000 km and the front struts head be changed at 200000, but you have to understand these are normal wear and tear parts so the fact they lasted this long was amazing
@@niksyimi I'm curious as to your problem. I'm coming up on 180,000 after owning this thing a few years. So far all I have done was oil changes and an O2 sensor. Oddly the code read coil, but just the O2 sensor fixed it
My cousin gave me a 2006 Mazda 3i for my son who’s about to get his license. I found over $12 in change inside the drivers door panel. They would put change in the drivers door cubby and the change would shake down into the door panel. It was a nice find. 😃
I bought a brand new 2010 madza 3 back in 2010 I still drive this car everyday to work and I still love this car! The only thing that’s not working at the moment is that the trunk latch won’t unlock with the key fob, other than that everything else still works great! I got around 78,000 miles so far on it and plan on keeping it rolling for a lot more years! 👍😊
I love my 2013 Mazda 3. Its over 200,000 miles, at exactly 200k miles i changed the engine. We bought the new engine at the dealership and it cost over $5k. But it works great! I love that the back seats fold forward when you need to carry long items. I have put 8 foot long pieces of lumber in there.
@@janvranjes4554 that’s still pretty cool. Here in America, the closest thing we have to that is the VW passat TDI. People modify the exhausts and make them sound like semi trucks.
I feel ya there, sucks for watching videos on, but great for streaming my music still... I often turn my Bluetooth off when watching videos though... have had my 2013 Mazda 3 for about 6 months now, to replace my old vehicle for a commuter car to work, but am enjoying it so much that I'm now deciding to do some customizing on it to make it more my style
I'm buying a 2008 Mazda 3 sedan to replace my 2008 Ford focus because the transmission is shot in it and no matter what I do the motor has a bad misfire . Awesome video and thanks for sharing it .
Just bought my first car is Mazda 3, 2005, Hatchback, 1.6 l and I fecking love it. It's such great car for comfort and amazing desing that I got so lucky getting it fairly cheaply. And I much admid this will be one of my fauvorite car brands know. My two all time fauvorite cars are Mercedes and BMW, but this does everything with much cheaper price tag. Also I wouldn't mind buying other Mazda in the future years to come.
One more thing if you press the key for open and hold for 5 sec the window can open automatically. Press lock for 5 sec the windows can close automatically..try it
Purchasing a same year Mazda Axela tomorrow. Right hand drive Japanese market Mazda 3 imported to the Bahamas. Would rather have the hatchback, but you get what you can down there. Good overview of some things other reviewers didn't mention. A little concerned about the suspension, how has yours held up over the years? Any weak points I should address?
Bought a 2010 in June, 2018, with 50k miles. No remote key lock, no cruise control. No tinting. Amazing control. Just a phantom rattle in the rear passenger side. 5 years later I’m about to cross over 90k.
You forgot that... These generation have (independent rear suspension) yes... For a budget car... Independent rears, thats why it handles great in conrners even with the smaller 1.6 petrol
@@SpearfishingWalrus yes Second Gen mazdas have independent rear which they removed with the newer gen, even with the new mazda 3 turbo its not independent rears
I have the Mazda Axela 2010 imported from Japan. Mine is a 1.5L CVT with 7 speed manual mode. It's a 🐌 but it nice to drive lol. Mine has a nicer bumper at the back, not dual toned like yours. Will upgrade soon to a newer model hopefully imported from Japan as well
The key VW was using it since 2001. Sentra was putting blue tooth since 2007 in entry level trim. Ford was using advanced computer information display since 2006. Just a couple thing that you said Mazda3 was one of the first which it wasn’t.
2010 Mazda I sport - I have been hit by an 18 wheeler from behind, had an entire house wall fly off of a dumptruck and plaster my front @70 mph, had a block of ice from a trailer truck crush the hood and windshield, slid on ice and punctured my passenger rear door, and had a huge toolbox hit my front bumper off the back of a pickup truck - FIVE Major accidents / incidents. My Mazda saved my life every time. It's still my daily driver with 183,000 miles on it. It's a 5 speed. Still the original clutch. I love driving it!!
The reason that trunk fits so much stuff is- those gas strut liftgate hinges. You can fill it completely yet could close it effortlessly. Too bad Mazda went back to the stupid swingarm hinges for the Gen3.
been driving the 2013 mazda 3 since 2014.. just found out if i plug in my iphone via USB to charge, it will show as "iPod" then shows the title of what song is being played off my Music app...only 7 years later for this discovery
Hold the mode button or the 🗣 and it should say “set up bluetooth” and you gotta talk loud at it and be parked. You need to set up a pin on your phone and tell it to the car
I just got me a Mazda 3 2008 like 50 days ago and well here one of the upgrade i did to it.....damn it...jt wont leg me well anyways i just installed a brand new air vent on the hood of it
Talks about a huge glove box and trunk, but has them full so you can't see anything. A little preparation for the video by emptying them out never occurred to this guy!
I got a 2012 Mazda 3 I have 117,316 on the car and I have 0 issues only thing that went bad was the ac but that’s just because the car was in an accident
My friend and I have the same car as this guy and he has 197k miles running well and I have 108k 2.5l and running smoothly. Just need to maintain daily so it can last longer
Got 2007 2.0L Auto Mazda3. Central locking hasn't worked on driver door for years. Weird unidentified engine vibration. Replaced engine and transmission mounts, still vibrates. Possibly transmission? Disappointed. Dealer tried selling new engine mount replacement just after they had been replaced. Had been a reasonable car but it's dead to me now.
Cool story bro. But can you tell me why mine (2010 Mazda 3) randomly beeps while driving, or sitting stopped, or even in park??? It does this constantly, but with no pattern. The beeping is totally random too and there's no associated warning light or center dashboard message with it either. It's as baffling as it is annoying. Please help!
