A suggestion for a future list on this subject: the Ward winner journalist Tim Lopez from Brazil, killed by the cartel for his undercover investigation piece on the corrupt cops helping the Cartels, his death was horrific.
Honestly this is a sacrifice kind of life, the only people who truly appreciate the efforts of some reporters is the familes of those affected negatively by this crime syndicates
Yes because the US is the pinnacle of civility and order, it’s not like they pollute every country they touch or are a massive part of global instability or the lack of human rights … no no it’s the people in all those other lands that bring the Americans in.
journalists/reporters will say and do anything to "get"their story , they also seem to think they are posessed of some form of invincibility because of their job , i think of them as cur dogs that latch on and just won't let go , they say "the public has a right to know" well sometimes they don't and they pay the price for their attitude
its not that they feel invincible, its that they feel that SOMEONE has to do something. These reporters and the citizens have to live at the mercy of these cartels. It takes a spine and balls of steel to do what these reporters do, something you clearly lack.
