I've never been more proud to see someone wrap a belt around a fighter than I was seeing Mark Coleman wrap the BMF Title around Holloway on UFC 300. The fact that Mark was there to begin with was a miracle in its own right, but his parents are alive because of his heroism (and his dog's, who unfortunately didn't make it), and I'll admit to getting a little misty eyed in that moment. Great list, MMA On Point!
I remember when his daughter was backstage for one of his fights and started crying when he lost, watching him console her was so wholesome and heroic. He's the one who just lost a fight in front of the whole world, but he's trying to make his girl feel better about it.
Technically, bam bam bigelow could have been on this list, he did have an mma fight (he got beat up by kimo leopoldo) and he actually saved three children from a fire
The only other "witness" was a post after the fact by a random motorist who happened to be friends with a bunch of MMA fighters on social media, what are the odds...
If you haven’t seen the video where Coleman is in the hospital, it’s VERY intense. He’s crying cuz he wasn’t able to save the dog. Absolutely heartbreaking
Give Mark Coleman a $300,000 fight of the night bonus. He fought alot of odds and saved his parents. And beat all the odds when he came through to make it to UFC 300! 🍻🙋
Better Help is terrible and goes against EU data protection laws - while being a therapy service!! It someone cant see how messed up that is i dont understand. You will confide in them and they will sell not only your basic info but much more. The more you tell them the more they have to sell to data collection and AI companies. BETTER HELP SUCKS
I got to see and meet Mark at a fairly recent LFA fight event, in Louisville, last month and he was not only super kind happily walking beyond the barriers to talk and meet people and do photos with all as well that came down from the stands to approach. Happy to meet a legend but also a hero now, in that, I got to shake his hand and say much respect! He was there alongside his guys Matt Brown and team as they were there to coach a fighter as Mark just sat nearby.
Mark Colman is and always will be my hero..anyone who saves a life, human or animal is my hero, most people go their entire lives and never make a positive difference in anyone's life, but those that do are heroes.
Mike Dragich is one of the coolest dudes I know, always humble and respectful every time I’ve seen or talked to him in the gym. In my opinion he should’ve got higher than top ten, he’s a fellow U.S. military veteran and put his life on the line for our country- that should have boosted him at at least into the top 5.
What an inspiring video. I know you guys do a lot of different content, but the "Top 10" type videos are really enjoyable and the bread and butter of this channel. Cheers.
Seeing Mark put the belts on fighters at 300 was the highlight for me. Over the two all-time KOs. One of the sweetest moments this sport has ever produced
When I watched Mark Coleman that day, I got so choked up. Real man right there. But it's always awesome seeing a bad guy getting f@#ked up by MMA fighters.
Damn that Brendan Shaub story gave me chills. Exact same thing happened to me at 18. Was right behind a head on, truck and a van, 140 and 100ks ish. Girl in the back seat, about 9, white dress covered in blood, none of it hers, yet literally unmarked, father alive but in a bad way yet recovered, mother… yeah he put it best. “Passed away” Insane. I almost feel like I’m that moment she must’ve spoken to something or someone and traded her life to keep that girl safe.
The Jon Jones incident happened the day off the UFC title fight with Mauricio Rua, not the day before He was in a park meditating when the couple got mugged, then later that day won the light heavyweight championship
I was in college when the Huerta/Texas Football player fight happened, completely forgot about that. MMA wasn't that mainstream yet, so that crossover of my 2 favorite sports at the time was wild.
13:50 thats a situation that he will never forget bless him for that! I normally heavily dislike him but after seeing this I will forgive have respect for him!
