1 thing to note... your names on your NIN slip must be same and in same order as the names on your passport. If they aren't the same, you need to re capture and update your nin information to match with what's on the passport.

Hi, thanks for the detailed video, please i have some questions 1. In the “change type” what will be your option if your passport has not expired yet but you want to renew ahead of time? 2. For the passport photograph, is there a specific size? Or any passport and background can go?

Hello Tracy; 1. It will fall in the "expired" category. 2. The website says "two current passport-size photographs with white background". The regular size works. All the best!

Hello, Thank you for the very detailed information, I found it very helpful. But I have issues with booking an appointment with my app ID and reference number. It’s shows that the next available appointment date is July, like 4 months away. please, is this normal?? My passport expires in June.

Thanks for the detailed walkthrough, however, I think Nigeria is fond of price gouging people. How on earth is a 10-year passport USD242, also, why are they charging USD when people applying live in Canada. Don’t even get me started on the silly administrative fee.

Hi J thank you so much for this video. Can you get the money order and envelop before hand? Like before you book your appointment? Does the dates matter? I live in Alberta and my passport expires next year 2025. I am thinking of applying now this February 2024 From the video I suppose I am to get the national express envelope correct?

I would say wait till you're ready to go for your appointment, they are easy to do.
