10 Tips for New Cruiser Players | World of Warships Legends PS4 Xbox 1 

Good advise. What I hate about the game is that it is so random and everything is so situational that it is really hard to learn and see success when you apply what you have learned. An example to show what I mean: You know you are generally supposed to park your cruiser behind an island and use it for cover. You try doing it and 30 battles in a row an aricraft carrier exploits the fact that you sit there motionless to pump air dropped torpedoes, bombs and rockets into you. What I mean is that in this game, doing the right thing turns out wrong so often. That makes it so frustrating and hard to get better. Even when I apply techniques I learned from tutorial videos like this one and actually have success, it always feels as if I just got lucky. It is like rolling dice. You can do the same thing over and over and get totally different results each time. I can't really pinpoint what it is, because it didn't quite feel as random and chaotic when I played World of Tanks or War Thunder. There, when I learned how to do something, I usually saw consistent results when I did it. I got some routine, got confident doing it and could build from there and go on acquiring the next skill. When things went wrong, I usually knew exactly why and what I should have done differently. It doesn't feel like that in World of Warships. Trying to get better in WoWS to me feels like trying to learn how to play a musical instrument that makes different, random noises every time you touch it. PS: I hadn't realizes this is the console version of the game and that there are significant differences. I of course noticed the different looking UI graphics, but I assumed you are using mods, hehe. So what I said about being farmed by carriers when parking behind an island, apparently doesn't apply to this version of the game.

Great video and advice, thank you. I hated having to go as a cruiser as they didn't seem to have a defined role like destroyers or battleships. Watched this video, followed the advice, next battle I survived and took out 2 battleships with a light cruiser!

Value 15 minutes. Nosingle salvo is going to turn the tide, but sustained fire, salvo after salvo, can. Cruisers are there to finish off and mop up the targets that the BB and DD set up, with citadels and torps. The spike to their bump and set, if you will. You can feel it in a game if you have lost all your CL/CA, as it can often be difficult to finish off targets and there will be a few enemies all floating around on a sliver of health. BB lack the reload and accuracy, DD lack the range and often want to stay stealth. Keep the CL/CA alive...win mpre games. Nice vid, stay salty!

Thank you very much, just keeping my broad sides hiden, and the other tips I still died but I still was able to assist my team and destroy multiple ships before I died

Consumables for the team is a great and simple tip. I can't count how many times I haven't deployed my sonar because "I didn't feel threatened" only to watch my BBs take painful torp damage they may have avoided with a little more warning. 😒

Could we have a guide on the symbols in the battle ui and on the in battle map? Like what are the little eye shapes for on the edge of your spotting circle? Some are red some are blue/green?

Love the Marblehead play! I like using some of the lower tier ships as the pvp gameplay seems to generally be better AKA more action filled. I seem to have a hard time with this boat vs Omaha, for some reason, maybe due to the premium ranking getting into more upper tier laden games. Overall, great video with great tips and tricks. Thanks T-Bull and hope to not play against you but with you some day!

Can someone tell me when the next campaign challenges will be live? I am currently at rank 70 with just a few more games to hit 81, but after that I can’t progress because there are no new challenges.

Cruisers: fun and flexible.

I been playing for a while I have tier 4 in everything BB cruisers and DD in each nation except I have tier 5 DD in Japan and ho but except Italy I was thing to starting Italian cruisers BC I thought it would be fun or a bit of a challenge but I was even thinking going russian BB BC I thought they would be interesting what should I do?

Agility built -rudder less than 3 seconds and max speed and actively dodging bb shells with a respectable success rate. Example wichita 1.9 seconds rudder shift and 40 kts speed

I cannot figure out how to get to that part of the game, the commander profiles. I did not even know commanders had traits like this. I was just applying skill points as I got them.
