One tip I would add is that when you find the item you really want, don't walk away figuring you can come back later and get it. Many times, it will be gone when you circle back.
Hi Jay, Thank you for the great advice about the National! You are still the best person to explain things without being condescending. Much love bro, Peter
Hello my name is Eric. This will be my first year attending the nationals. I have to say I’m excited and nervous at the same time. I’m paying attention to everything that you explain. I hope I get the opportunity to meet you and make some good deals. I’ll be there Thursday through Sunday. Thank You
I’m heading to White Plains tomorrow(Friday) - first ever cars show - would love to ask some questions in person - will you be at the East Coast National this weekend??
I totally want that Boba Fett !!! I am so glad that I am a extrovert. I know I will make so many good friends at the Dallas show. I love to just talk about the hobby. It will be so nice to talk to people who actually know what I am talking about. No one in my family or my friends collect cards so they have no idea what I am talking about. I loved your tips. I would add that you do not have to goto the show to just buy big money cards. If you are not bringing tons of money, the bargin bins can be your friends. Find a few good cards for $1 and see if they are worth $3 and go sell them to a different vendor. Great video and tips, thanks for sharing !!
tip 11 if youre going into Chicago go early before everyone is up the city gets rowdy when the sun goes down.... tip to myself stop by the army surplus and pick up a small blade for protection I dont trust that city like I did 25 yrs ago.
Appreciate this, bro! Good work, unfortunately, I blew out my achilles last week at a hoops tournament, had to cancel my plans to Chicago, but looking forward to connecting with you next year in Cleveland. Enjoy bro! K-Dub
This is my first national ever this summer and big first big show ever. I’m only going for 2 days but I’m really excited to see you and some of my favorite RU-vidrs
Yooooo Jay!!! Thx for posting the tips! It will be my 1st and im so pumped! Love the fact you hit on enjoy the moments and document everything. Bringing extra batteries for sure!!! Do you know if their will be ATM machines available at the location? Thx again 🤙
So I’m gonna be at the national for 2 days and I already live in the Chicago area I’ve been to plenty of shows but for this one im gonna spend a record 1k but I don’t know if I should go for bulk deals or buy from lots of dealers what you think?
Hey why don’t we talk about how breakers are not allowed to sell singles at the national this year at the breakers pavilion. I’ve made over 300k at the past two nationals but since we’re breakers we can’t sell singles to our customers this year. Make it f****** make sense …. #NSCC23
@@DabToTheFuture you guys are just haters 😂 It’s all good. Tell me how it helps the hobby. Tell me how it brings more people into the hobby. It’s a outdated policy that they said they will be enforcing this year after not enforcing it the last 7 years. Again, make it make sense. You can’t 😂
Tip don’t go there to sell and don’t go there to buy go there for the experience I went to the national last year I didn’t sell or buy one card but I won giveaways and met great people
Still sad I can’t go anymore this year it was going to be my first!!! Than I fractured my fibula and got leg surgery, crazy thing I was about to buy tickets before it happened
I haven’t been. But I’m assuming not blowing your money the first 2 hours is good advice. I’m sure there’s endless booths of cool stuff you’ll miss if you go broke fast 🤣
It would be my first time ever go to a card show and for sure going dig in those value boxes. My PC collection I’m looking for Jordan and Brady. And to try and flip for profit any hot Rookie QB.
My Tip: Take advantage of talking to companies you work with in the hobby. This is your chance to tell them what you like or don’t like about their services. They also tend to have great freebies too! Also Trade Nights are sometimes better than the show. On our second night of the National last year, we set up at a trade night next to three people who found out we were talking with on Whatnot for 6 months! You never know who you are gonna meet. See you there! - @SportsCardCouple
Good video and tips, wish I could be there this year. AC was my first National and while I loved it, I know it fell short in a lot of ways. Appreciate the follow! @cardaddict434
