Normally if youre in ranked, people will use their side dash to get behind you and attack, what ive learned is to block from behind when they're close and instantly counter with m1 if they have above 90 rank. It works 80% of the time and after a second of no side dashing behind you just get back to fighting.
gonna go in depth for tip 10: If you know they are gonna try and hit your back with forward dash, follow their movement and block it. If you know they are gonna try and side dash to hit your back, just turn around and hope it works
i like how i learned 90% of all this myself, i just watched people do it without them actually telling me how to. One of the best ways to get good is learning by yourself
same hes right about fighting ppl better than you it helps cuz i would also just foward dash and get blocked but i realized blocking is a mechianc and it helps very much so now im better by just blocking lol
By the way, the main purpose of challenging yourself by battling pros, is so that you learn from your mistakes in order to pursue your goal of improvement, simply mindlessly attacking pros MIGHT get you somewhere but it certainly wont be far as of Zeyu.
For tip 2 I really recommend Saitama first then garou Get used to the basic movements then get to the advanced ones It's like telling someone to lift a heavy weight without them practicing in the smaller ones
@@CosmicFatherbro he’s literally right. Saitama is probably better than garou for beginners, since with saitama u need to learn many things like down slam in order to learn the good combos, and learning those things will make u improve rapidly
@@CosmicFatherbeginner will fail quick and won't improve saitima has the easiest combos and probably the best combos many of them being one shot so not only is he the best character he's the most basic melee character plus you learn more tricks like downslam first then do a skill downslam again then another skill which isn't that hard and being a very useful tip
I can agree, but garou allows you to gain skill exponentially at the start, and you have to learn the advanced skills anyway with Saitama, garou is a character that has one of the most combo potential
Thanks for the tips bro, Those were good tips. Some of them I didn't know about. Like the ragdoll cancel when I first played. I thought I can just do it infinite times but it had a cool down so I took advantage of that and tried to find tips and tricks. This is the right video if ya want some good tips and maybe be get better at the game 👍
6:17 I just instinctively side dash but the hitbox for a dash is slightly larger than the space dodged so you end up being hit but you still have time to block after because theres a short time you are in the animation of the dash because of the punch so yeah
I also have a tip:I call it let you’re thought Gide you(when you counter do it in an unpredictable way so the enemy doesn’t know you are gonna counter and then tries to stop you.I thought this was very useful, against pros not necessarily against new players though since they are gonna play dumb and not try to counter so whatever you will do they won’t really adapt to it which is why this will help you a lot if you follow the first rule)
tbh i dint rly understand the mechanics and stuff bc they just sound so complicated but thanks a lot for teaching me it. ima watch more ur tips and get better thanks a lot man
Using garou at the start is so good, I used him from 0 kills and you gain skill exponentially at the start. Garou is not the best in terms of grinding kills but I main him for skill. I sometimes use other characters and is very easy to use them due to skill
If you start with garou, the game forces you to learn trades because unlike sonic or genos, your kit can’t carry you when fighting new players. Sonic is def the best to boost yourself as a new player but garou will take you much farther with the higher skill ceiling.
Learning side dashes is the one i recomend to do after learning combos because you can create different variation of combos by just mastering it and if you mastered this side dashesh you will become an hard to get anemy and unpredictable one
Dude, my first main was saitama, while genos was in EA. I kept losing to those genos users, because genos back then was so overpowered. I always wanted to try it out, but when it did, I hated it, lmao.
My first character I used in the game was bald hero I didn’t ask anyone to train me just learning through and when garou released I immediately bought it because people were messing me up like an egg after I bought it I thought it was trash so when genos released and got his moves I used him until after the M1 s got reworked when sonic was out I used him a little bit but dang history goes through good
Tips for Garou combos: Like Zeyu said, start with basic ones, avoid complex ones, even If they’re one shot. Because mastering easy ones first can give you ideas for harder ones. Like this: Easy, gets an idea. Medium combo, gets an idea. You know what I mean so yeah.
When I first joined the game I didn't even know what m1s were but I knew the other things so I switched characters and I liked Garou a lot. I stopped using Garou at 400 kills and switched to Saitama. At 700-800 kills I tried out genos and I hated him but I still used him until 1000 kills. After that I switched back to Saitama and used him until 1700 kills. Then I tried out Garou again and I am now much better at using Garou.
As a main of Genos now. It entirely took me only 4 days to master. It has a lot of potential but because it’s easy to use, ppl think your just spamming or running. I forgot what else to say
It’s really hard to side dash on console. On console, the turn sensitivity always stays the same no matter how high or how low it is and it’s definitely NOT fast enough. I’m not fast enough on mobile either. You can lock on players on console, but you have to be point blank near a player in order to even use it, which getting that close is obviously not a good idea unless you don’t need lock-on.
These tips are good, but I got a really good tip for you. You know how pros always got their camera out? Its to try and TRACK their opponent. Predicting and figuring out their movements are really easy if you can do this. Thanks for reading
One of the tutorials I watched on youtube was: *Basics of sbg* I didn't even know about blocking until 130 kills. After that I just taught myself to anything.
why is this stuff kinda sound like chess maybe thats just me though (love the tips, they actually make sense and I think it would help for alot of people who struggle as well, keep up the amazing content)
garou was my first main then when i got 250 kills i switched to sonic and made tactics such as my pert combo by using the burst baiting i invented (i used it 10 times on the same player that has high rank then me and he hates me fr)
Another tip basically you gotta be smart and trick your opponents like if you are a person who uses saitama and you have ult basically make them waste his cancel dash activate your ult omni punch or whatever you want to use and there being smart its something that you need to know in this game
1 tip memorise your enemy's movement and his combo if he is using the same character as you copy the thing he does Then do that over and over again if you find yourself in low hp you can fight back using the movement and combo of your past oponents
When i started playing strongest battlegrounds i was noob i didnt know what to do but i started to use garou as my main i gained about 1 thousand kills with garou but i switched to saitama when i had like 2 thousand kills and idk why but saitama made me a better player.
The one bad thing about fighting the pros is dealing with the de-motivation of loosing over and over again sometimes I just stop playing because it’s boring doing the same thing just to loose because the skill gap is so large that you can’t improve from fighting them.
Zeyu i gotta tell you! That its today is bad day to me ive raging in tears always lose because of good players maybe this will be my motivation so keep it up Zeyu!
With saitama, you can chain down slams. First you so 3 m1 then downslam, instantly consecutive normal punches and u can downslam them right after without 3 m1. So it is basically 3 m1 for 2 downslams
Alright there are different ways to block forward dashing 1:you use any move and any carerater 2:hit them with m1 and then combo them 3:use garou because there are 4 moves that can block forward dashing just use 1 or 2 or 3 or 4
0:20 this is what i taught to my friend ruby i mean just watch youtuber combos to learn then improve but i didn't taught my friend that bc i keep secret but fighting better than people is also good tip but i never knew that, all i knew is watch youtubers like you and copy theyre skills which made me improve alot now i sub to u bc of your tips/LordHeaven
Theres an new tech (shoutout to theholygrail75) that called «The Noob Fist». As you can see by an name when u fight an good player they're expect from u like an side dash, front dash or smth like that but the noob fist is an tech where you just come to an opponent and hit them, that's it. And i think you'll be able to win but idk if its true
A tip that’s help me win a bunch of 1v1’s is to put your self in harms way and counter with Garou Ex: someone missed Jet Dive so I will side dash into it and quickly counter and it’s not just Jet Dive many other moves can have this be done Ur welcome if it helps😊
the first tip was legit me. or is still me because the thing is for some reason I'm scared of the word 1v1. i know i wont lose anything from 1v1 but gain knowledge still though this video helped me a lot because i now know I'm not the only one that is scared thank you my stats 400+ kills 4k+ total kills i hope to improve
Alot of people may know these tips if they play 1v1 duels, but they can't do it because it's to hard, Or not easy enough, And it's OK, you just keep learning in your own pace, And all the things you learn will be useful 👾
This is a good tutorial guys , i defeated a wolf level threat with 100 kills ovr. And easily destroyed a 3k kill player. With 90 ovr kills. My first main was garou , and i am currently a saitama main. I improve by watching pros too. Also heres a quote , "Grind for skills , Not Grind for kills.
smth else that's good about fighting much better then u is once you start realizing and fixing mistakes and winning against pros once you finally win and keep winning it feels better then just killing someone worse then you

I actually have 1 more tip is when your using garou and ur knocked to the ground don't cancel ragdoll instead preys peril only if their punching while ur knocked
ok so i have 15k kill (gorau main) and dash forwarding isn't bad is just to use in the properly way, the block area can be bypassed by the forward dash just by going around them while forward dashing(this don't work everytime) and another tips is pro think their fight are skill full and sometime yu find your self next to the pro while fighting adn you can hit them they don't expect that( it work only in a few cases)
Dont ragdoll cancel to normal m1s because its a trap to catch you in their garou saitama or Else combo but the worst luck you can have is ragdoll cancel is against a garou if they m1 its a trap and their combos are the fastest and unescabale due to you being litteraly infront of the enemy in garous attacks
i know a basic combo on saitama: 3X m1s punch Barrage Mini upper cut normal uppercut Dash Normal punch i dont know a basic combo on garou cuz his lethal is hard to land if the enemy is on the ground
I actually play genos but I learned lots of mechanics and combos, I see alot of new people being so good in the game so I'm going to use garou but I also learned how to use saitama by myself. edit: I also learned not to waste ragdoll cancel as I kept going
Saitama is the best character to master blocking with. I used saitama up to around 4k kills until they patched his killer combos. I switched to Garou and instantly mastered his combos. IMO Garou is the easiest character.
The most fax one in the vid is the genos one when I started playing I made garou my main then when genos got free I got hyped for it and made it my new main ... thankfully I realised my mistake like 2 months ago and am kinda back on track
I am Around 3,100 kills in (which is beginner for pros) and i have combos for every character. (Yes that includes tatsumaki) I mostly use saitama and garou but these tips are useful!
