Bro! Ever since I started watching your channel my company has been bringing me the projects that the graphic designer keeps screwing up, and they are LOVING my work. Word on the street is I'm getting a raise soon too. Keep it up! You're making a difference! I wish you could her work compared to mine. Night and day my friend.
I've been watching your Illustrator-related videos and shorts for around half a month, and I can visibly see progress in my learning. I tried to watch other instructors' videos too, however, I could associate with your instructions waaay better and easier; the captions for tools' shortcuts, zooming on specific tools to help the audience find that tool in their program easier, and all other details combined with your method of explanation is like a learning formula. This comment turned kind of long, but i had to thank you for uploading these marvelous videos.
I really appreciate that you are making these videos. I am just getting started in this type of design and this video really helped me to understand some important design concepts as well as learning a bit more about working in a vector design program like Illustrator (which has been a bit of a challenge for me). I just wanted to say, "thank you". I will continue to study, learn and improve my skills. With your help this process will hopefully move along a little more quickly. Thanks again and have a good day. - Addison

As usually Martin, it is a pleasure to follow up your tutorials! Very professional and lot of interesting tips. Answering to your question, yes, I am one of the guys being interested in learning more and more about logo design. Illustration in general became one of my priorities nowadays, following to use the knowledge in After Effects animations. So, thank you very much for sharing!❤

Hi do you have a tutorial where I can see in details how to make retro/traditional logo design, I am specially Interested in how to make the little lines looks not too fake
Very well done! I'm new using Illustrator... is there a way to highlight the cursor/arrow as you demo, so it's easier to visually track it against the dark background and small type on the menus? I'm still learning locations of everything, and had to pause several times to check which menu you'd opened. A brighter cursor, or highlighting which menu you're opening, as you're working would be very helpful for us newbies. Thanks!
Hmmm. These all look way too complex and detailed. - there is no professional company in the world that is successful with a logo like that. Strange. This is great clipart but these are not company logos.
There are plenty of companies that have complex and detailed logos and it’s not like they have only one version of the logo to use. Depending on what the business is and where the logos are going to be displayed they might be fine.
That's what I was thinking. Everybody is saying that a logo must pe memorable but with a simple design so it can be used anytime with any size without losing its details.
I think this the logos he makes aren't the best for real life use but they are the best for client presentation. Clients are in love with these kinds of designs
