Thanks for the free e-books! And thanks for steadily improving my game the last 6 months, I was doing pretty well vs amateurs, but now I feel armed to tackle many different situations and players

Hey Jonathan, just wanted to say thank you for all the content. I'm not someone who has ever played anything other than friendly cash games, but the information and math behind GTO is absolutely fascinating to me. Maybe ill give 1/2 or 1/3 a shot sometime this year after I continue learning

to the section about the combos. i think if your quiz question asks "If you hold an A how many combos does that remove of the 16 total" then it would help take away some confusion. the question specifically says one A of the 3 above which implies a segregation of the math. So..Charlie Mcbride is correct in terms of the question asked. You are saying something different than what the slide reads.

We need the book on “How to play having a sandwich poker.” I won’t take the book’s advice, but just want to get an insight to that strategy. 😂😂

always loved your content so i bought your how to master small stakes tournaments and cash games book. But felt a littlee mislead after realizing everything was based on generally 40bb stacks and mainly tournament play, though there were a few nuggets here and there quickly realized wasn’t much in there to help with 2/5 or 5/10 cash games or post flop play 100BB+ which was what I was aiming for :/ That said was a lot of useful information and liked to see how your brain works but maybe should’ve named it for tournaments or small stacks specifically

Regarding your step number one I often play against opponents who are clearly not thinking in terms of ranges in fact I've played at tables and mentioned ranges and had some opponents laugh out loud as if it was a ridiculous concept. Because of this I feel like play against those opponents in terms of ranges is over leveling in the sense that they just are not playing on that level. Thoughts?

If your villains won’t think in terms of ranges so be it, better for you! However hero must always be building a range for their villains even if that range isn’t from a chart, it’s what you’ve custom built based on experience, tells/in game info etc

Regarding your opening, (small mistakes over time costs you lots of money) doesn't it also send the wrong message and/or positions you poorly for post flop action? (I am guessing you touch in this soon, but just thought I would post this as it occurred to me in the run of the video).

Small preflop leaks can translate into LARGE postflop leaks. If you love K5 for example, and consistently call with it, you are going to get crushed by better Kings a LOT because you will have real difficulty folding when you hit a K and think you're good.

hi jon cool im following your thot process- man i was trying to be the worlds tightest- that means i should still call my 2 duks if i have at least 4 other callers etc- i keep coming in tenth percentile- u make me think about betting different i feel like i disagree with some things and i have questions- so now- as im trying to be worlds tightest i hear u talk about how i have to mix my 3 bets up because people will know how to play me- once again> i went to a lot of trouble to learn and then i dont get allowed by the abusive cops around me- my computer gets false fronted my internet dont work right- i get switched to a different table and its like- random anything what beats my hand- but- 7.5 times out of 10 i get to tenth percentile- i havent played in 10 years- i had the arrow chart memorized fair good- lately i have been watching u guys- i still need my way from before for review> the same book- i havent started reading i havent starting shuffling but- i just love listening to u think out loud- i need to bet better- my name is gari i have 35K kids they smart they keep showing up at final tables- so loosey eating a sandwich i want a big fat burrito with hot beans chek the tv chek the phone- something> on the internet poker games if u got to tenth percentile then a lot of the time the payout would be ten percent- like low> you'd get your money bak and that was all- i noticed on some of the live tournaments that they had a 15% payout- i keep being short stack at final table i need to be better on something probably betting

Love your content but why do so many of you give so much info for 6 handed games? A large majority of US players still cannot play online so we're generally going to be playing full tables.

For 8-9 handed, just remove hands because 8-9 handed is a little tighter.

Your videos are good but a tip would be to try and make them shorter by cutting out the fat. You are doing a school teacher style, which isn’t bad, but people will cut off early and that hurts your algorithm. I wish Bart didn’t take 20 minutes to break down one hand. Remember, everyone today has ADHD. 😂

@@simonkohli107 It's holding his channel back. It's also lazy. This is the same style that teachers use, which everyone thought was sooooo boring. Be a professional and do the work it takes to make a better product.

Seems like if people won’t stay for the whole lesson, they lose out on all the info then go to the tables, where they play against those of us who stuck it out and took in all the information to apply. Sounds like this only benefits those of us willing to overcome our ADHD to increase our win rates
