#cebuladeals series, yeah! I would add the following advice: 1. When opting for free museums (ex. London) - don't just show up randomly at the museum - book the free ticket online before (you don't even have to be exact with the time you enter). It won't save you money, but a lot of time queuing. 2. To avoid exchange fees, there are some decent online banks/tools/apps - the one I use starts with "R" and ends with "volut" and saved us a ton of $. 3. Cheap overnight stay options: - hardcore version is just wild camping in a forest, park, ruins, can be in your car, hammock, tent or... just on the floor, unfinished private building sites work fine (just leave early in the morning and don't leave trash) - obviously not great when travelling with family; - pilgrimage centers/youth hostels - some of them you will not find on booking or airbnb, you have to google them specifically and it works rather in smaller, less touristy cities and religious centers (nobody will ask you about your beliefs, so no worries).
