I typically describe the item as I would for a non-vintage item. In addition, I would include the decade and trends like "new wave, grunge, preppy, etc..." Happy vintage hunting!
Great video! I’m pretty gun-shy when it comes to picking up vintage to resell because it just sits for me. Would love to learn more about keywords any tips and tricks when it comes to selling that you’d be willing to share.

Fantastic! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I have some shorter videos I'm planning dropping that will share more of my vintage stash and how I determined their dating. As for Etsy, do you offer free shipping? I know you show up higher in the search if you do, I just build it into the pricing. I also use one tag for free shipping. Other than individual item tags and free shipping, I do try to list pretty regularly.
Vintage reselling is just so much more fun! The tip I give is to go to the little church shops and Salvation Army in small towns. The shoppers there are often looking for school and work clothing, not vintage stuff. There will be dozens of old items sitting on the racks for a decade waiting for you to scoop up.
I totally agree. What a fantastic tip! Now that you mentioned it I think some of my best vintage shopping has been at Salvation Army and church shops. They also typically have fantastic prices. I need to hit up more small towns. Thanks for sharing! ❤
