The problem with the parents in the 4th story is that they blame the babysitter for his "murderous" behavior. The kid didn't like the babysitter from the start. The FLIPPING CRAZINESS THAT THE GIRL HAD TO DEAL WITH WAS WORTH AT LEAST PAY. SHE DID WATCH THE KID FOR THE NIGHT.
I remember starting to watch these types of videos in college (2016-2018) during doing coursework. I’m still here today 😅 these videos are honestly so relaxing to listen to😅😂
This is quickly starting to become one of my favorite channels. Narrator has a great voice and enunciates the words clearly and the stories are fantastic. I wish I could afford to contribute funds to keep the channel going but all I can do is reccomend the channel to friends and family.
LET'S, YOU HAVE THE MOST RELAXING VOICE EVER... TRUST AND BELIEVE I LISTEN EEEVERY NIGHT... THE OL' LEG AN HOSPITAL STILL THE SAME.. STILL MESSED UP.. THE PAAIN... WELL IT GOES AWAY FOR A WHILE.. TY LR. I LUV YOU!!
Ugh, I would always hate it when people would toss my kid up in the air like that. I would cringe when i saw it being done to other kids, but when it was done to mine, I was furious. Not only is it unsafe, but he hated it. It would frighten him. But some people just don't get it. I'd always have to intervene. Please stop throwing kids up in the air like that.
Wow the one where the dad lied to his wife and came back to spy on the babysitter. I wouldn't have stayed either and if I was his wife and I found out about that I would be absolutely livid. What a weirdo. They couldn't have done something like put cameras in the home or something? He had to walk around like a creep and scare that poor girl to death?! I guess if he ended up in the hospital with his brains bashed in, he better be pretty damn grateful at what kind of babysitter she is LOL. Also, what about the wife? Did she just get ditched at the restaurant since the babysitter refused to stay LOL. It said he dropped her off so I'm assuming she didn't have a ride home, unless she took a cab I guess. What a dick
Sounds like Daddy Dearest was trying to catch the babysitter breaking a rule. “You broke the rules, but don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. If you (insert blackmail demand)”
Honestly wondered if I imagined the “pooooooooole WHAT” until I checked the comments. I don’t know whether or not that was an accident(I’m guessing not), but that was perfect!
My thoughts exactly, why did he have to watch her for an hour??!!! Wasn't his wife wondering where he was? I would have beat his ass having not paid me especially since his kid was a little jerk too!
The fire/doberman story is so annoying in the parents' refusal to pay the babysitter, that they were all pissed about the mattress/kids' room being a mess. Not to mention them being three hours late from the time they were supposed to come home. And not asking or listening to WHY the kids were up so late or why the kids' bedroom was messy.
Sue them. Legally the babysitter would win 100%. Also would waste the parents’ time, which is a bonus. Not so much for the money, just for the ethical lesson.
@@shamamaharjan4834 Kids would probably be better off, quite honestly. A normal parent would've been concerned for their children. Not angry about being inconvenienced.
Story number 4 is crazy and it baffles me that the parents would refuse to pay you and blame you for their child being a little psychopath and pulling a knife on the babysitter...
@@jeebanjeeban87 I was thinking the same & wondering why she didn't. Maybe it happened so fast she cldnt access a phone while trying to protect herself. And after the parents are home it's her word against their's. This is just another 1of so many stories I sit, listening, thinking "Call the police, call/tell someone!!" & they never do💁♀️🤦♀️🤷♀️
I was around 10 when my Mom asked me to look after my little brother at the store when he was in the toy section. I loved animals so asked him to come with me to that department. He got fussy so I told him to stay there while I went to see the pets. When I went back, I couldn’t find him. I was in total panic but luckily Mom found him. I was punished, but nothing compared to my guilt.
If I was her parents, I would’ve pressed charges against those parents and that little demon seed and probably called like CPS or somebody because he’s just gonna be a little psychopath and probably a serial killer
I'm glad they got arrested, but they should have been charged with child abuse or something too. Straight up didn't feed the kid, broke every rule the parents gave and abused the dog. They are trash humans and I hope they have bad karma for the rest of their life.
RE: Babysitting fire/doberman story Should've threatened to take them to court (IK not likely, 16 yr old, but still). Refusing to pay after you provide them a service for the agreed upon fee is *illegal.* Doesn't matter if you're not a professional w/a license or something like that. Could've gone to the cops about it and at least gotten paid for your trouble.
Also, they were annoyed with the babysitter for spraying the mattress. WTF was she supposed to do when their son lit a candle under the bed and it burnt the mattress(and she wanted to be sure it was actually out)? Plus, them coming back a few hours later when they were supposed to be home at eleven.
Story 3: the dad was so lying. Why would he watch her for a full hour. He clearly was a creep who pretended and made up a story about wanting to see what kind of babysitter she would be
And if the wife wasn't kept in the loop he'd prob tell her he came back for "the thing he forgot" and peeked through the window for a second before letting himself in but it spooked the babysitter so bad she just up and left, or that she just wasn't there when he got home *face palm*
Since working from home I've gotten my boyfriend into youtube horror story channels and we listen to them while working - he always requests your channel as your voice is so relaxing and you are by far the best reader for these kinds of stories!!👌🏽 thank you! ♡
I don't buy his story of watching her to see what kind of babysitter she was. If that were the case they why not tell his wife that was exactly what he was doing instead of lying about leaving? Nope red flag. Then offering to pay her double so she would stay the rest of the night? Like if he were really a concerned parent he would apologize for scaring her but his children came first. Then understand if she still wanted to leave. Red flag again. Creeper.
Speaking of calling cops too early: Saw flashlights outside in our backyard at around 3am and called cops immediately. It turns out to be Comcast doing general maintenance ...at 3am. The cops that showed up were pissed off...at me, but the Comcast workers did get the worst of it.
Sometimes my mom reflexes kick in before I even register what the hell is happening. I didn’t know I had any at all, I don’t have children of my own, but since I met my seven year old stepson they seem to have become an absolute necessity. Like the time he fell backwards through the trampoline net, head and neck first. He got the wind knocked out of him for sure and his first “stinger” but I managed to slide almost under him to cushion the fall enough that, that was it. Another time we were all in the kitchen and one of them knock a pan full of bubbling gravy right off the burner. I snatched it before it could get his bare feet or any of us really registered what was happening, thank god. I absolutely hate burns too but I didn’t realize how much got me or how bad until I knew he was good.
Story 8 - Adrenaline is one hell of a drug. It makes you into a superhero or the Hulk in a second, but the crash afterwards is a nightmare. All I can say is you did an amazing thing for that family, and it's totally understandable for that event to freak you out. Everyone that day was really, really lucky.
Story 5 always boils my blood. Even worse that the parents didn't believe the child. You know your kid. Its so hard for kids to speak up and when they do they aren't believed. I had an abusive baby sitter and I wish I spoken up sooner to my parents. Also nanny cams. Keep an eye because there are too many sickos and malicious people. Or just please don't leave your kids with strangers.
I used to babysit these two little girls. One was 6 and the other was 3. The 6 year old was totally a brat but the three year old was a complete angel! I thought the 3 year old was gonna be a nightmare!
Younger kids are almost always easier. They don't have the thought process to argue with you yet. They just go with it if you can make them laugh and feel comfortable. Only time I've had trouble is if the kid is overly attached to the parents (you know helicopter parents) or going through a phase like that where they get anxious and bedtime is rough. That can happen to any age kid but more often younger ones.
I could not and would not let anyone idk or don't trust near my kids let a lone watch them.. there has been family members that I don't trust that I don't let around my kids on both my side and their dad side... nope I'm good.. I don't even do daycare for my little ones who are not old enough for school.. it's sad tbh times are different and ppl are different then when I was a child but I'm not taking any chances..
I could write a novel about my experiences babysitting. I was one of very few reliable and mature babysitters in my area and I therefore had gigs lined up for every weekend and most days in the summer. Don’t get me wrong, it was good money. But as you can imagine I had all kinds of different kids with different behaviours etc. It was a tough job to say the least. Surprisingly my fav gig was a family with 7 children. Sounds like a lot but they were amazing kids.
I would've taken the story 4 parents to court. Not only for the kid, but sue some money out of them for having to be stuck with a little psychopath. If they had threatened me like that, I also would've told them that I would tell everyone in the neighborhood what trash parents they are.
Was i the only one who feels like the girl in story 4 exegarrated just a tiny bit? A little guy with a knife who cant even reach a counter top isnt that much of a danger right
The idea itself may not seem threatening , but think about this- If you try to defend yourself against a kid who's coming at you with a knife, YOU will be the one who gets in trouble because "hes just a child" regardless of how dangerous he is Small children are actually quite strong for their size, and its nearly impossible to reason with them because children are just plain stupid, they have no concept of anything and whatever you tell them will go in one ear and out the other
Am I the only one who is not against punching a little kid, if they pull a big ass knife on me? 🤣 Like nope, you're about to get Falcon Punched right back into the kitchen! Jkjk, though I seriously don't know how I'd react 😅
With all the stories on reddit, it always sounds like authors; or at very least, people who are really well spoken, etc. But in the real world, it’s like 5% of people that speak and write like this... what’s up with that?
